Responsible for maintaining the Front Desk operation (which is the go-to location for lodging guests requiring assistance)
Provides exemplary guest service skills during guest check-in/check-out
Answer all incoming PBX calls and make new/altering reservations as required
Responds to additional guest service requests as needed

Uses the HotSOS work order system to log all owner/guest requests received and complete them (or to dispatch requests to an appropriate team member)

Contacts and work with IT and SMS-Host support to rectify any issues preventing the Front Desk from operating correctly
Performs detailed QA on same-day arrivals and all next-day arrivals, to identify and mitigate any potential guest or homeowner service issues and rectify any problems with outstanding balances, soft blocked rooms, out-of-order rooms, and/or oversell situations
Performs a daily “bucket checks” to ensure that the filing of all registration cards accurately matches any updates (e.g. room moves) being reported via the property management system
Develops a detailed knowledge of reservations policies, room locations, types and configurations, and cancellation policies
Communicates with the housekeeping department regarding special requests, early check-ins, and room moves
Assembles pre-registration packages (and any other special arrival packages) as directed to include accurate encoding of room keys
Acts as a liaison between guests and other departments
Records all requests in HotSOS and ensures each request is handled in a timely manner
Helps organize transportation: scheduling, Amtrak requests, and acts as a liaison between guests and drivers.
Stays current with lodging and general resort and local area information (to be able to provide accurate information and/or assistance in response to owner and guest requests)
Answers incoming calls (internal and external) at the PBX switchboard in a courteous, professional, and expeditious manner
Follows all established uniform and appearance policies
Maintains cleanliness of Lobby, entryways, pool areas, stocks towels, picks up outside trash and dog poop (as needed), and empty trash cans both inside and outside as needed

Train, lead, coach, and correct a team of Core, Regular, Seasonal and Part Time Housekeeping Staff in conjunction with the Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Inspectors to ensure the employees have the skills, tools, and knowledge required to perform their job at the highest level while remaining engaged.
Assists in Managing the Housekeeping schedule to ensure consistency and adequate coverage for all shifts with consideration for the staff requests.
Ensures the cleanliness of all lodge common areas, including lobbies, bathrooms, hallways, ski locker rooms, and hot tub areas.
Establishes and demonstrates standards and procedures for Housekeeping staff to include OSHA standards, Safety Standards, Guest Service Standards, and all company SOPs.
Plans, assigns, and directs work of Housekeeping staff as well as appraises performance, rewards and disciplines staff and addresses any complaints and resolves problems with the Housekeeping Manager and the Housekeeping Inspectors.
Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment. Documenting inspection forms to hold cleaners accountable and to use as recognition or re-training tools.
Assists the Housekeeping Manager in inventory management and Just In Time (JIT) purchasing.
Investigates new and improved cleaning instruments and methods, researching green initiatives and products.
Has working knowledge of equipment and periodically inventories and orders supplies and equipment as required.
Manage a safe employee and guest environment and ensure required safety meetings and updates are delivered.
Responsible for establishing all Housekeeping procedures in conjunction with the Lodging Operations Manager and Housekeeping Manager while continuously seeking new ways to improve the current processes.
Creates and maintains detailed, high quality and accurate Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s) for all Housekeeping lodging operations in conjunction with the Housekeeping Manager.
Ensures proper and timely communication with the Front Desk regarding owner/guest special requests, early check-ins, late check-outs, and room moves.
Is responsible for the Housekeeping staff following the established uniform and appearance policies and taking corrective action if necessary.

Coordinates and performs purchasing and warehouse functions in accordance with established levels of authority and WPR guidelines utilizing the following methods:
Creates requisitions using D365 for procurement of inventoried material for the warehouse. Must keep inventoried parts readily available for department maintenance and repair by checking the reorder report daily.
Works with accounting Gatekeeper in distribution of purchase orders from various company departments. Faxes, emails, scans to appropriate vendors, verifies pricing and gets corrections accomplished when needed. Works with vendor and originator of PO when anomalies arise.
Handles material deliveries including receiving incoming shipments in D365, reviews packing list discrepancies and corrects them. Maintain files including packing slips, bills of lading, FedEx statements, purchase orders; logs incoming shipments and properly labels all products with inventory labels/QR code labels.
Responsible for continuously improving the organization of all warehouses including shelf labels, and updating fixed locations in D365.
Prepares FedEx and freight shipments for various departments, schedules pickups when necessary.
Performs cost/benefit analyses; locates, selects, and maintains lists of potential sources of supply; evaluates competitive offerings; conducts supplier visits and evaluations; measures supplier performance using rating systems
Handles freight deliveries, including use of a Case forklift for material movement
Schedules deliveries or pickups with departments for delivered material
Schedules and picks up orders in Denver when appropriate
Assists other departments for order pickups in Denver when needed.
Maintains effective relationships with internal departments and vendors
Performs Warehouse operation duties including cycle counting, location transfers, and correcting item discrepancies
Assists with the coordination of the centralized warehousing of commonly needed items used by vehicle, lift, building and electrical maintenance.
Maintains inventory levels. Researches the history of inventory levels for items in the warehouse and orders appropriately.
Coordinates appropriate inventory levels at all Warehouse locations both at the base and on mountain.
Assists with the completion of daily and annual inventory
Insures warehouse security and control of inventory.
Maintains a professional demeanor at all times and conducts business in an ethical manner towards all vendors and employees.
Complies with all safety procedures and ensures a clean, orderly work place and compliance with all state and federal safety regulations and WPR Driver’s Standards Policy.

- Shoot video and conduct video analysis sessions with participants on a frequent basis.
- Conduct athlete goal setting meetings at start of year and review throughout season.
- Travel to pre-determined events with participants and be responsible for on-hill coaching duties.
- Provide positive feedback on a daily basis to participants and submit written year-end evaluations on each participant.
- Communicate needs to effectively do job on a daily basis to Head/Lead coach.
- Participate in coaches meetings, briefings, and other professional functions as directed by the Head/Lead coach and Program Manager.
- High school graduate or GED is required.
- Advanced level skiing skills and knowledge as indicated by demonstration to Head/Lead coach. Equivalent to skills required for Level 1 education in US Ski & Snowboard Coaches Education program.
- Must have a minimum of one season in an organized US Ski & Snowboard, collegiate, or high school program; or have competition experience at the US Ski & Snowboard and/or FIS level or have at least one year of experience as an instructor in an organized ski school and complete the US Ski & Snowboard Level 1 coach clinic program during the first year of employment.
- Experience in ski tuning, boot modification, and related equipment experience desirable.
- Must have an understanding of current US Ski & Snowboard and FIS rules
- The primary physical environment in which this position works is out of doors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, rain, bugs, sun, high altitude, extreme heights, lightning, etc...
- The degree of strenuous activity within the job is considered to be high. Often lifting a weight of 50 pounds throughout the day is common.
- Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking upon uneven, challenging terrain with heavy tools or equipment.
- Exposure to: Chemicals required for cleaning, de-greasing, and painting Ultra Violet radiation from the sun enhanced through lack of atmospheric filtration at work altitude. Fumes produced in activities ranging from cleaning to painting to fabrication of metal products. Noise generated by snowmobiles, lift equipment, and tools may require hearing protection to be worn.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Grounds Skilled Laborer - Winter Season
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Grounds Skilled Laborer performs all general maintenance and landscape duties necessary to prepare and maintain the Village at Winter Park Resort. This position is responsible for the upkeep of the WPR village area including trash/recycle removal and maintaining all public walkways/ areas.

Restaurant Manager - Year Round
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Restaurant Manager cooperates with Unit Supervisors to create and implement daily food preparation, set-up, service, and break down. This employee must communicate with other departments during event location planning as well. They are responsible for visualizing and realizing the ideas and intentions of individual supervisors. The Food and Beverage Manager will serve as bar foreman, crew member, and various other Food and Beverage positions as needed. They must supervise and delegate responsibilities to other food service staff during their Unit Supervisor’s absence. The Restaurant Manager will work with the Director of Food & Beverage to help with planning, directing, controlling, and coordinating of all food service operations, including: all personnel functions, pricing, purchasing, inventory, food presentation, food production, beverage production, and monetary collection. The ‘Manager Restaurant I’ will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.
