We are recruiting year-round for our 2023 season with summer and winter peaks.

Delaware North at Yellowstone owns and operates hotels in West Yellowstone and Gardiner, Montana as well as Yellowstone Vacation Tours in West Yellowstone. Our summer seasons typically go from mid-April to early November and our winter seasons typically go from late November or mid December through mid to late March. In addition, we operate Yellowstone General stores inside of the park with seasonal dates ranging from April through October.

  • Housekeeper

    Responsibilities 

    • Greets guests, provides menus, clearly communicates restaurant specials, answers questions about menu items, collects food and beverage orders, serves items ordered, and attends to guests need throughout their visit.
    • Accurately enters orders into point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food and bar staff can prepare drinks, as needed.
    • Serves alcohol beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
    • Prepares and delivers check to guests at table and accepts and processes payment.
    • Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
    • Performs opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned.
    • Ensures all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and working properly.

    Qualifications 

    • Experience in cash handling and credit card processing required.
    • At least one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment preferred.
    • Previous experience with a point-of-sale system in service or hospitality environment preferred.

    • Painting, hanging drywall, and repairing drywall as needed.
    • Changing light bulbs, replacing fixtures, and performing similar minor electrical tasks.
    • Plumbing work including opening clogged drains, repairing leaks, and performing other simple plumbing jobs.
    • Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, or closet rods
    • Lawn maintenance including mowing, removing weeds and brush, etc.
    • Ensuring tools and equipment are in working order and keeping maintenance room in neat condition.
    • Assists with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies.

    Qualifications 

    • Minimum of 3-5 years' previous experience in general maintenance/repair required.
    • Previous experience with fire and boiler heat systems a plus.
    • Must have a clean driving record. This position requires driving a company vehicle.

    Physical Requirements 

    • Requires bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling.
    • Standing and walking 100% of the time.
    • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather.

    Responsibilities 

    • Check in with management upon arrival for daily duties and station assignments.
    • Attend pre-shift briefing, taking note of relevant information including service, food and beverage, and guest notes.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room including all equipment, utensils, tables, chairs, service stations, floors, and windows. 
    • Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables between courses and after guests depart.
    • Return dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and linen to dish washing area, sorting appropriately and placing them in the assigned area for proper disposition.
    • Reset tables once guests leave according to floor plan or instructions from management.
    • Remove and empty trash as needed.
    • Assist in counting china, glass, silver and linen.

    Qualifications 

    • Experience or training as a Runner or Busser with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume is preferred.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    The Opportunity 

    Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Porters to join our team at Holiday Inn in West Yellowstone, Montana. As a Porter, you will perform any combination of light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house.

    • Perform any combination of light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house.

    • May plan menus and estimate required food quantities, labor, and overhead costs. May lead the work of kitchen assistants in preparing, cooking, and storing food, as well as in maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. 
    • Utilize kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as: knives, slicers, whips, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, ovens, etc.
    • Ensure freshness and quality of all menu items and packages all products to proper specifications.         .
    • Follow and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.
    • Complete end of day inventory and other opening/closing duties in accordance with company checklists and procedures.
    • Perform other duties assigned.

    Qualifications 

    • At least 2 years previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position required.
    • Participation in a culinary program is preferred.
    • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
    • Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.

    Physical Requirements 

    • Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip etc. a variety of foods and liquids. 
    • Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to handle or operate dangerous kitchen equipment.
    • Standing and walking for entire length of shift.
    • Frequently required to reach up to 6 to 7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting
    • Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms.
    • Kitchen environment – noise levels may be moderate-to-high.
    • Works frequently in a hot and damp environment.
