About Delaware North at Yellowstone Vacations

The Gray Wolf Inn & Suites is a limited service hotel, with 105 guest rooms. Summer season start dates range from early May - early June; end dates range from late September - late October.  Located ½ mile from the West Entrance to YNP guarantees easy access to all of the winter and summer recreational activities the Park offers.  The charming town of West Yellowstone is walkable with restaurants, shopping and more readily available.

The West Yellowstone Holiday Inn is a full-service hotel, with 123 guest rooms and a 206 seat restaurant and bar called The Branch. Winter season dates are mid-December - mid-March. Summer season start dates range from mid-April - early July; end dates range from early September - late October. Location just ½ mile from the West Entrance to YNP guarantees easy access to all of the winter and summer activities the Park offers, as well as walking access to shopping and restaurants in the small town of West Yellowstone.

The Yellowstone Park Hotel is a limited service hotel, with 64 guest rooms is ½ mile from the West Entrance to YNP! This location closes during the winter; summer season start dates range from mid-April - late May; end dates range from late September - late October.

The Explorer Cabins are a luxury 50 cabin property located in the heart of West Yellowstone offering kitchenettes, gas fireplaces and outdoor firepits. This location opened in July 2013 and is open year round.

The Ridgeline Hotel is an 86 room hotel located in three separate buildings in Gardiner, Montana, gateway to the North Entrance of YNP near the Yellowstone River. Restaurants, shopping and recreational activities are within easy walking distance in this gateway town to the Park! Our on-site restaurant, The Yellowstone Mine serves dinner daily.

Offering snowmobile and snow coach tours in the cold winter months and bus tours in the warm summer months, when it comes to Yellowstone, there’s no bad time to go exploring! Yellowstone Vacations offers associates the opportunity to work, live and play at the entrance of Yellowstone National Park. West Yellowstone and Gardiner are gateways to adventure, within minutes of town you can be hiking in the mountains, fishing in streams and lakes, and exploring Yellowstone National Park!

Ideal Candidate

We search for associates who possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle a physical workload and a fast-paced atmosphere. Our most successful associates are individuals who are team players that enjoy giving quality customer service, are passionate about, and enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful area that we call home. 

The ideal candidate will be able to work the summer season beginning in April and going through October, with a possibility to extend to the winter season. Winter positions typically start in early to mid-December and go through March, with a possibility to extend to the summer season. Many of our hotel positions can become year-round jobs for those who are interested in calling Yellowstone home.

Room and Board

West Yellowstone: Housing is available in fully-furnished, non-smoking, shared apartments in West Yellowstone from $65.00 - $75.00/week. The weekly price includes utilities and Wi-Fi. Each unit houses two-to-four occupants and has a full kitchen and shared bathroom and access to a shared coin-operated laundry facility in the complex. We provide associate discounts for meals. It is recommended that you bring your own twin-sized sheets and blankets, we have a limited number available.

Gardiner: We offer housing on site for $25.00/week, Wi-Fi and cable are FREE. We have newly renovated shared dorm rooms for Summer 2023 which are fully furnished, along with a miniature fridge, microwave, and TV. Linens are provided as needed. There is a shared laundry facility in the complex. All rooms are non-smoking. Guests, family members, and pets are not permitted in employee housing.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Arriving by Car - Associates with their own transportation can travel straight to West Yellowstone on Check In Day. Associates will be allowed to check-in to housing two days before their start date. 

Arriving by Air - The nearest airport is Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN).  Bozeman is 90 miles north of West Yellowstone. We provide transportation to those arriving by air or bus in Bozeman (BZN). We ask that you arrive the day before to be ready for pickup on your Check In Day.

  • U.S. Residents can fly into Salt Lake City (SLC). We do not provide transportation to West Yellowstone but you can schedule bus transportation with Salt Lake Express  https://saltlakeexpress.com.

Arriving by Bus - Greyhound https://www.greyhound.com/ is available from most cities in the U.S. to Bozeman, MT and Idaho Falls, ID. In order to be picked up in Idaho Falls or Bozeman, you must contact Human Resources to arrange a pickup.

Hotel Accommodations - Bozeman offers many hotel choices providing a free airport shuttle. To allow for a more efficient pickup on Check In Day, we will provide a list of preferred hotels with new hire materials.

Hostel - Treasure State Hostel is a low cost alternative to high cost hotel accommodations.  Treasure State Hostel starts at $28/night.  Please check their website for up-to-date room pricing.  Treasure State Hostel is located at 27 E. Main, Bozeman, MT 59715 (406) 624-6244.

Transportation around West Yellowstone - West Yellowstone is a small town, having your own vehicle isn't a necessity. Most places are a 10-15 minute walk from the apartments. Having a bike is helpful to get around West Yellowstone.

For Fun

Enjoy the convenience of living in a small Montana town, while being just minutes away from the West Entrance to the nation's oldest national park! In the summer you can fish in the hundreds of miles of blue ribbon trout water surrounding West Yellowstone, hike, mountain bike or explore ghost towns, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and more!

Would you prefer still-water fishing? At approximately 15 miles long and four miles wide, nearby Hebgen Lake is a premier still-water fishing destination.

Other activities available in the area include rafting, horseback riding, tubing, and boating.

In the winter you can explore hundreds of miles of snowmobiling and cross-country skiing trails. If you enjoy downhill skiing or snowboarding, West Yellowstone is just 55 miles from Big Sky, home to some of the most diverse skiing and snowboarding trails among breathtaking vistas.
