Our original building dates back to 1879 when Maggie Webber, the first innkeeper, operated as the Twin Peaks Hotel.

Located in the center of the historic district, The Twin Lakes Inn is the heart of hospitality in southern Lake County, offering 12 rooms and ample dining options for overnight guests, through travelers and locals.

Twin Lakes is adjacent to the largest glaciated lakes in Colorado. Visitors come to the Upper Arkansas Recreation Area from around the world to enjoy its majestic scenery along with the many outdoor activities. We're at the base of Mt Elbert, Colorado's tallest peak. Highway 82 begins in Twin Lakes and, when open, connects the Front Range with Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley.
