    The function of the Bellman/Driver is to work closely with the Front Desk staff to provide a positive first and last impression to guests when they arrive and depart the Ranch. Assist guests with their luggage, transportation and miscellaneous needs. Responsible for parking all cars quickly yet safely. The care and attention that goes with this position are crucial to the success of The Ranch as they convey a critical message to the guests about the property’s commitment to service.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      • Up to date with Daily arrivals/departures, in-house count;
      •  Know all room types, layout, décor, appointments and location;
      • Be able to communicate all the features and services of the hotel;
      • Share the hours of operation of each outlet;
      • Maintain parking facilities, layout and procedures.
    • Greet arriving guests/visitors and bid farewell to departing guests/visitors.
    • Assist guests and visitors into and out of their vehicles and assist with luggage and set up in accommodation.
    • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and offer to park vehicle for guest, if applicable.
    • Ensure security of vehicle and its keys.
    • Ensure all driveways are kept clear, and vehicles are not parked or left standing in illegal spaces.
    • Answer departmental telephone within 3 rings, using proper greeting and telephone etiquette.
    • Document phone requests for retrieving vehicles as specified; record time of completion.
    • Retrieve guest vehicle keys from secured location and retrieve guest's vehicle from parking facility, following departmental procedures.
    • Release vehicle to guest upon proper authorization of claim tickets. Open vehicle doors, assist guest into their car and close doors.
    • Maintain accurate knowledge of local attractions and activities to recommend for guest inquiries.
    • Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Constantly maintain cleanliness of vehicles
    • Follow our Core Values and provide amazing service for our guests.

    Education/Experience

    • Clean driving record, valid, current Driver's License.
    • Previous experience working in a Bellman capacity preferred. 
    • Customer Service experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
    • HS Diploma
    • Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment.

  • Front Desk Agent

    Hotel Front Desk
    Philipsburg
    $15.00 - $16.00 / hour + tips

    Guest Services Agent is the primary liaison between The Ranch and our guests; Agents represent our property to guests throughout their stay.  Guest Service Agents handle all arrival and departure procedures ensuring that Forbes Five Star standards are met at at times. Perhaps most importantly, Agents are responsible for managing guest requests while in-house in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. 

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities, Ranch features and services, accommodations layout, arrivals and departures procedures and hours of operations for the various Ranch outlets.
    2. Address guest concerns, requests and special requirements by facilitating inter-departmental communication to assure guest requests are handled in a timely basis and to the highest standards.
    3. Relay accurate information to guests regarding local attractions/activities as well as on-site Ranch activities, spa treatments and food and beverage events.
    4. Help manage the arrival process by preparing and printing registration cards and waivers. When placing welcome materials in the accommodations, perform a final inspection.
    5. Perform check-in, and initiating The Ranch property tour in the Granite Lodge.  
    6. Learn our Property Management System in order to maintain reservations in-house, review arrivals before check in and troubleshoot incorrect folio postings, and update guest records.
    7. Manage the departure process by checking folio records in advance of departure, posting charges, processing adjustments and package allowances, and answering guests’ final questions.
    8. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and co-ordinations with other team members.

    Education/Experience

    1. Previous experience working as a front desk agent or in a similar role at a luxury property. 
    2. A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
    3. College or University qualifications beneficial.
    4. Two years of customer service experience required.
    5. Front Desk or hotel operations experience preferred.
    6. Ability to clearly communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
    7. Ability to provide legible written communication.
    8. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-Point (required).
    9. Valid driver’s license.
  • Room Attendant

    Housekeeping Department
    Philipsburg
    $15.00 - $16.00 / hour + tips

    Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and common areas following Forbes Five-Star guest standards at all time, which includes but not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and replacing amenities. As a Room Attendant, your contribution helps ensure our guest have an enjoyable and comfortable stay here at The Ranch.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Clean guest rooms and common areas according to the Standard Operating Procedures and as assigned by supervisor.
    2. Monitor proper function of guest room appliances and repair of furniture and fixtures.
    3. Report any needed repairs to supervisor in timely manner.
    4. Assist with responsibilities and duties of laundry during need periods.
    5. Address guest concerns, requests and special requirements in a timely manner to housekeeping supervisor.
    6. Maintain rooms and common areas of the property.
    7. Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
    8. Keep storage areas tidy and communicate supply needs to Housekeeping Supervisor.
    9. Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions.
    10. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and co-ordinations with other team members.

    Education/Experience

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent 
    2. Valid Driver’s License.
    3. At least 6 months of prior housekeeping or hospitality experience.

    Special Skills/Physical Demand

    1. Ability to use radio/pager and respond in a timely manner.
    2. Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision and focus attention on details.
    3. Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guest and company information.
    4. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
    5. Ability to lift and or move 15lbs and occasionally lift or move 30 lbs.
    6. Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area.
  • Massage Therapist

    Granite Spa
    Philipsburg

    The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. They must have the ability to perform Swedish and deep tissue massage and be willing to train in The Granite Spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing five-star service to guests by maintaining a high level of customer service at all times and have an in-depth knowledge of health and wellness. Applicants must have or be able to get their Montana State Massage License.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Support The Granite Spa philosophy through the consistent use of its standards and procedures.
    2. Provide consistent, high-quality treatments in accordance with spa protocols.
    3. Be on time for appointments and consistently check schedule throughout the day.
    4. Escort guests to and from treatment room and attend to any immediate needs throughout the Spa visit.
    5. Have the ability to courteously interact and answer all spa and ranch related questions to each guest.
    6. Maintains cleanliness of spa and related areas and equipment.
    7. Ensure guest comfort and safety during their treatment.
    8. Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product.
    9. Report maintenance and dysfunctional equipment issues to the Spa Manager.
    10. Attend weekly and monthly spa meetings or training courses as required.
    11. Ability to assist co-workers in the spa as well as assist other ranch departments to help contribute to the success of The Ranch at Rock Creek.
    12. Perform as a professional, with a five-star attitude and conduct all spa responsibilities as required by the position or assigned by the Spa Manager.
    13. Uphold standards of sanitation, sterilization and cleanliness as direct by law and the spa’s standards.
    14. Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying excellent customer service, LHW standards, and creating a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
    15. Maintain current licensure.
    16. Able to wash and fold laundry to spa standards.
    17. Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and positive personality.
    18. Communicate to Spa Manager, all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

    Education/Experience

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    2. Current Montana State Massage License.
    3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a luxury spa appreciated.

    Special Skills/Equipment

    1. English fluency required.
    2. Strong computer skills are necessary as well as strong organizational skills.
    3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
    4. Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
    5. Positive attitude, team player with amazing customer service skills.

  • Events Houseman

    Events

    Event Housemen perform event set-up and tear down, assembly of items, housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Sets up tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, lights, and other equipment according to the room diagrams and event resumes
    • Tears down equipment and supplies after events are over and put them in appropriate storage facilities or other locations
    • Maintains cleanliness in the event spaces, including hallways and other common areas
    • Keeps service corridors and storage areas clean, organized, and unobstructed
    • Operates various types of equipment, and tools. Including, driving with a  trailer
    • Reads and understands room diagrams and event resumes in order to set event spaces accordingly
    • Interacts with other staff and event planners, and responds quickly to needs and requests
    • Other duties as assigned by management


    Requirements:

    Must have high school diploma or equivalent GED and must be able to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance
    Must be 18 years of age or older
    Must be available to work flexible hours and days including early morning, days, evenings, weekends and holidays
    Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift objects up to 75 pounds
    Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license
