    Job Summary:
    As the Telephone Operator you’ll manage our telephone and radio systems to keep operations running smoothly and ensure guest security. You’ll be the friendly voice answering calls, providing information, coordinating emergency responses, and maintaining accurate records to support our hotel and park services.     Responsibilities

    • Operates communication systems, such as telephone, switchboard, two-way radio and paging system.
    • Answers incoming calls, greets callers, transfers calls and takes messages as necessary.
    • Monitors alarm systems in order to ensure that secure conditions are maintained.
    • Routes emergency calls appropriately.
    • Contacts security staff members when necessary.
    • Provides callers and guests with hotel and park information.
    • Enters guest information into phone computer system and keeps accurate records regarding phone restrictions and guest wake-up calls.
    • Responsible for mail/packages for guests and employees.
    • Works closely with front desk, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction and accurate record keeping.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • At least six (6) month experience as a telephone switchboard operator or answering a multi-line telephone.
    • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to communicate clearly, have good diction, a pleasant speaking voice, and be clearly understood over the telephone.
    • Must have clerical aptitude, accuracy and attention to detail.

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to work siting for extended periods of time and must have the endurance to function in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
    • Must have the manual dexterity to work busy consoles and PCs.

    Responsibilities

    • Helps maintain budgeted food cost through portion control, utilizing leftovers and controlling waste. Adjusts to meet business levels.
    • Responsible for the EDR kitchen and pantry, to ensure food quality and presentation.
    • Monitors FIFO (First in First Out), making sure each area is properly labeled.
    • Works with kitchen leads to keep storage areas clean and organized. Supports stewards to keep common areas organized and clean.
    • Ensures sanitation guidelines per Serv-Safe are being followed; ensures sanitation buckets are in use and temperature checks and logs are being maintained.
    • Ensures recipe books and portion controls are in use and being followed.
    • Assists in monthly inventory.
    • In charge of freezer pulls for each area.
    • Responsible for security of kitchen including locking up, reporting any discrepancies, making sure all food leaving kitchens has an Aloha receipt, BEO, or Amenity Order.
    • Working knowledge of Kronos and FoodTrak software. Ability to cover steward shifts.
    • Conducts station checks during shift changes and prior to service. Ensures open and closing duties are being followed.
    • Works line shifts during slow business periods and times of staffing shortages.
    • Available for both AM and PM shifts.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 1 to 2 years supervisory/management experience in a restaurant and/or hospitality kitchen, in multi-unit F&B operations preferred.
    • Trained and knowledgeable in all stations of the kitchens.
    • Leadership skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and be accountable for duties & projects.
    • General computer knowledge.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Physical Requirements include:

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of public spaces and guest facilities including, but not limited to, restrooms, showers, outdoor seating/gathering areas, building hallways, offices, outdoor walkways, pool areas, elevators and function/event areas.
    • Performs regular dusting, cleaning and polishing of all outdoor and indoor light fixtures, furniture, floors, doors and windows.

    Qualifications

    • At least 6 months to 1 year previous customer service skills including ability to communicate effectively.
    • Must have a valid Driver’s License
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Must be available for AM and PM Porter shifts.
    • Must be able and willing to operate floor cleaning equipment: floor scrubbers, vacuums, mops, and dust mops.
    • Must adhere to all safety guidelines when using cleaning materials and chemicals
    • Must be able to meet and maintain grooming standards.

    Physical Requirements include:

In addition, the Irrigation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff and team members with professionalism, following the Xanterra standards of conduct.

    Responsibilities

    • You will work directly for the Grounds Superintendent and be the front-line supervisor.
    • Supervise irrigation staff and assign daily tasks under the direction of the ground’s superintendent.
    • Help interview, hire, train, and evaluate team members.
    • Develop a preventative maintenance program for all irrigation areas.
    • Design irrigation systems that enhance the overall experience and the overall presentation of the property.
    • Maintain assigned irrigation area.
    • Repair pipe breaks (PVC and Poly)
    • Troubleshoot malfunctioning sprinkler heads.
    • Identify and repair electrical problems.
    • Maintain, Identify, and correct Irrigation Clock problems.
    • Spot-water dry areas

    • Familiarize irrigation systems through irrigation plans and as-builts.
    • Assist with irrigation projects.
    • Assist in irrigation system start up and winterizing.

    • Apply preventative maintenance programs for maximum irrigation efficiency.
    • Maintain clean and organized workstations in the irrigation parts room and assigned equipment.
    • Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.

    Qualifications

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains security and safety of all job sites and work areas for self, fellow workers, staff, guests and any other person(s) possibly affected during performance of assignments.

    Responsibilities

    • Fully understand and support Xanterra Mission Statement and Core Values.
    • Responsible for overseeing the daily operation of all dining outlets to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability and conform to the regulations of Health Department and Liquor Laws.

    Qualifications

    • Previous 3 years’ experience in food service management, preferably as a Restaurant or Assistant Restaurant Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Primary duty to provide the Inn Dining Room Kitchen to maintain 4-Diamond level culinary execution for all meal periods with an emphasis on dinner service.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Complete work orders and repairs in a timely and thorough manner, maintaining cost effectiveness in repairs for industrial, kitchen and residential electrical and gas fired equipment and facilities.
    • Evaluate condition of equipment and make recommendations for repair or replacement. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus; electrical and gas components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the malfunction and correct the problem. Advise management regarding safety and cost effectiveness of equipment operation.

    • Adhere to all safety, risk management, and environmental policies and procedures.
    • Assist in the training and development of lower Electrician grades. This would include installation of motors, transformers, circuit breakers and other devices related to electrical and gas fired appliances/equipment; diagnosing and maintaining other electrical and gas fired equipment in a safe manner.
    • Required to attend the following Xanterra courses within 3 months: (1) LOTO, (2) Confined Space, (3) Electrical Safety, (4) Personal Protective Equipment, (4) Ladder Safety, (5) Defensive Driving (6) Fall Protection (7) Other related safety training pertinent to the position.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Four years experience as an Electrician.
    • Ability to work with voltages ranging from 0-480 volts (1200k volts where applicable), which includes single phase and three phase.
    • Possess working knowledge on National Electrical Code.
    • Ability to read, comprehend and draw schematics and diagrams.
    • Ability to distinguish between “delta” and “Y” connected transformers.
    • Ability to give an accurate estimate of time and material necessary for a given project.
    • Ability to trouble-shoot and repair control circuits using a variety of testing equipment including ammeters, multimeters, oscilloscopes and test lamps.
