  • Bell Attendant, Year Round - Inn

    Rooms

    Provides shuttle services for employees and guests, handles bags and luggage, and picks up/delivers messages, documents, packages, and other items between properties. May also be asked to cover Front Desk, answer phones, organize patios and public areas, and upkeep guest activity supplies and fireplaces.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide timely shuttle services for employees and guests, observing all California state vehicle traffic laws and company initiatives.

    • Assist guests with bags and luggage at check-in and/or check-out as requested.

    • Assist guests with escort and valet services as needed.

    • Provide positive, informative, and courteous customer service to all guests and visitors.

    • Maintains the cleanliness of company vehicles and assures timely maintenance of the vehicle is adhered to.

    • Delivers amenity requests to guest rooms.

    • Be familiar with details about the Inn and Ranch including various historical significances of the properties, hours of operation for outlets, and current road conditions.

    • Daily cleaning/maintenance of lobby, patios/decks, public areas, pool and assist housekeeping with dusting and picking up trash.

    • Be able to assist Front Desk by covering the counter or answering phones.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 6 months of previous customer service experience.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Pleasant personality and the ability to deal with a wide variety of people.
    • Ability to work quickly and thoroughly under pressure.
    • Must be flexible and open to changes in procedures.
    • Ability to attend to more than one task at a time.
    • Must adhere to grooming standards.
    • Must be available for both AM and PM Bellperson shifts.
    • Must have a valid Driver’s license and a high level of understanding for California state vehicle traffic laws.

    • Must be able to frequently and safely lift luggage that could be up to 50 lbs.

    • Must be able to bend, push, pull, lift and stand for extended periods of time.

    • Be able to assist guests into and out of the bell van.

    Rooms

    Ensures a high-level of guest service by greeting and registering guests, checking out guests, taking reservations, ensuring billing accuracy, and answering/directing phone calls.

    To establish and provide excellent guest service, registering and greeting guests at point of check-in and throughout their stay, while processing payments and posting charges to guest accounts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.

  • Guest Room Attendant, Year round - Ranch

    Rooms

    Cleans guest rooms daily according to established guidelines and standards as set by the Executive Housekeeping Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    Cleans the required number of guest rooms according to set standards, guidelines, and diamond rating. This includes, but is not limited to, making beds, cleaning and mopping bathroom and vanity, vacuuming carpets, removing dirty linen, supplying clean linens, etc.

    • Cleans areas outside of guest rooms such as patios and hallways.

    • Checks with supervisor to have work inspected before turning in as clean.

    • Keeps inspector informed of maintenance requests that may be necessary in rooms cleaned.

    • Informs inspector of all lost or found items.

    • Responsible for master keys issued daily.

    • Responsible for maintaining security of all guestrooms occupied and unoccupied.

    Qualifications

    At least 6 months to 1 year previous Housekeeping experience.

    • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

    • Must be able to bend, push, pull, kneel, lift and stand for extended periods of time. 100% of job involves being on your feet.

    Greets and seats restaurant patrons. The Host/Cashier is the first person our guest will communicate with when entering our food outlets.  Their personality and professionalism will instill confidence in our guests and will have a direct influence on the environment of that outlet.

  • Housekeeper

    Rooms

    Performs routine and specialized duties in the cleaning and servicing of any area which may be assigned for the convenience and comfort of the guests.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assists front desk and housekeeping inspectors with special requests.
    • Works as a Guest Room Attendant when necessary.

  • Irrigation Technician, Year round

    Golf
    Death Valley National Park

    Maintain and manage irrigation system, observe irrigation performance by observation of turf and plant material conditions, and implement corrective action for over-watering or lack of watering and report problems to grounds supervisor.

    • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
