Job Description – The Operations Manager at Green Mountain Retreat is responsible for all recreation, maintenance and upkeep at Green Mountain Retreat. This job is a year-round full time salaried position. Reports directly to the Director of Activities at Brush Creek Ranches.
- Manage and oversee daily operation
- Manage and motivate staff to ensure retention and performance
- Manage employee scheduling and shift management
- Manage annual budgets
- Coordinate guest/ownership use in summer and winter
- Order and maintain equipment(skis, snowboards, surface lifts, snowmobiles, snowcats)
- Groom and maintain ski runs, tubing hill, Nordic trails
- Monitor, clean, and maintain all yurts and facilities at GMR
- Execute tours for guests, ownership, and vendors
- Ensure and provide flawless, upscale, professional and high class guest service experiences
- Development and manage partnerships including suppliers, reps, vendors
- Work with ownership and executive leadership team on operational planning and development
- Monitor/record snowfall and conditions
- Work with federal agencies on commercial permits
- Manage and execute safety procedures
- Summertime duties may be transferred to other parts of the Brush Creek Luxury Ranch Collection
- Bachelors Degree or Better preferred
- Snow Sports Industry, Ski Area Maintenance/Operation 3 years preferred
- Management 3 years preferred
- Mechanical/Electrical knowledge preferred
