Taos Ski Valley is hiring cooks at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. The pay range is between $17.10 and $23.00, with hourly rate set based on experience, skill level, and attitude. Cook positions span several levels of skill, all of which are responsible for the production of and quality control standards of food in a high-volume kitchen through peak, rush periods of service. The nature of this job requires highly motivated, committed, and skilled individuals who can work with a team in a fast-paced environment to achieve customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for preparing and, using a full range of cooking methods and knife skills, cooking food consistent with recipes and what is printed on the guest’s ticket, ultimately ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.

The goal of the Assistant General Manager is to orchestrate memorable and unique guest experiences by leading a team of well-trained, inspired, and passionate individuals. Technical duties include floor operations, scheduling, service standards, guest satisfaction, reservations, opening/closing, end-of-day reporting, inventory, waste recording, sanitation, safety, incident documenting and reporting, and other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Perform outstanding maintenance services for The Blake hotel and other buildings and facilities of Taos Ski Valley, Inc. Serviced areas include guest rooms, lobbies, hallways, elevators, bathrooms, fitness rooms, garages, stairwells, steam rooms, game rooms, hot tubs & pool, surrounding areas, ski locker rooms, building entrances/exits, etc. Tasks may include mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and painting work within rooms and common areas. The Director of Property Management oversees the following:
- Residential Management for 33 residential, condominium owners within The Blake at Taos Ski Valley hotel and adjacent Blake Residences building. This consists of managing the program that provides rental and/or homecare management services for the homeowners in these buildings.
- Homeowner Association Management for two separate condominium associations, including administrative and governance support, enforcement of Association rules and regulations and communications on behalf of the Association to its members.
- Commercial Lease Management for fifteen third-party commercial tenants.

As an Esthetician, you help make every guest's stay comfortable and inviting by creating a beautiful environment in the Spa. You pay attention to the details and make sure you put a personal touch that says every guest is special. You have the knowledge and ability to perform facials and body treatments that meet the guidelines and expectations as laid out by the Spa Director/Manager as well as within the guidelines established by your current licensure within the State of New Mexico. You maintain the highest level of product knowledge and have a complete understanding of all spa services offered. You know the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guests and help answer any guest questions in a positive and professional manner. Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting employees with all incoming housing paperwork, ensuring proper completion, and maintaining all paperwork during employee’s stay
- Inspecting all units prior to occupancy, on a bi-weekly basis, and on departure to track and charge for any damage
- Helping the Facilities team with minor maintenance issues. (E.g. unclog sinks, light heaters, switch fuses at the breaker, some painting)
- Plowing employee roads, parking lots, and driveways using company plow truck and skid steer
- Helping to plan and coordinate occupant events up to 12 months in advance
- Frequently removing snow from walkways, parking spots, and rooftops, which will be physically demanding
- Charging and tracking employee rent and security deposits using the company's Hotel management software
- Tracking and responding to occupant complaints in a timely manner
- Taking employee trash to the dumpster
- Working with the Facilities team to ensure all building utilities are working properly and communicating with the right party to fix any issues
- The job requires sitting, crouching, and standing for extended periods
- Will be expected to keep common areas clean
- Solve problems with a "can-do" attitude
- Find a way to say "yes" to tenant needs. Look for ways to be helpful and courteous
- Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays
- Performs all other related duties as assigned or requested including obeying safety policies and procedures and attending safety trainings

Qualifications/Knowledge:
- Must be flexible and open to change.
- Organizational skills are a must
- Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written

- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass an MVR check.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic typing skills, and computer knowledge

- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during holidays and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
This position entails frequent snow removal, including; shoveling, driving a plow truck/skid steer, and occasionally climbing on rooftops (with proper climbing equipment and training.) Frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally team lifting up to 50-75 pounds. Sitting approximately 60-70% of the time. Occasional walking, reaching, and bending. This position will require individuals to be out in winter conditions 10% of the time.
Background Check:
Positions dealing with children, of safety-sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
