    We seek a talented, motivated individual to join our company as an Accounts Payable Clerk. As part of our team, you will process accounts payable invoices and payments while ensuring adherence to guidelines, controls, and company policies around accounts payable. The right person will leverage your strong interpersonal skills to maintain good working relationships with managers. Since you will support the month-end closing processes within the accounting team, you must be apt at managing multiple tasks and willing to take on new ones. Our ideal candidate has data entry experience, can pay close attention to detail, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills—knowledge of Coupa is a plus.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness

    Bald Mountain Snowmaker

    Snowmakers are responsible for the safe operation of the Snowmaking system. This job is done around the clock when conditions permit. Operations include remotely or physically checking snowguns traveling on foot, on a snowmobile, on a snowcat, on a snowboard, or skis. Snowmakers will be at either Bald Mountain or Dollar Mountain.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Operate and monitor snowguns remotely via a computer located in Snowmaking Headquarters or by physical inspection
    • Remotely or manually operate pumps, fans, and compressors. Snowmakers must also inspect all machines frequently
    • Safely travel via snowmobile, snowcat, snowboard or ski
    • Follow daily plans and instructions to ensure targets and goals are being met in a safe and efficient manner
    • Snow removal either manually, with a snowblower or plow
    • Operate with and assist other departments in daily operations as needed

    A Sun Valley Banquet Cook will use previous knowledge acquired in the culinary arts to improve kitchen skills, including knife and prep skills and how to follow safety procedures. Once familiar with the correct processes for the banquet kitchen, you can propose some of the dishes and preparations for the event's menu and show all kitchen employees the most accurate method of execution, always focusing on teamwork and the chef's instructions.     • Open and close the bar, collect and count the bank from the Cashier’s Office, prepare the bar for operation, and stock enough various beverages to meet the needs of the shift
    • Fill ice containers if no ice machine is present, and maintain a clean, neat, safe bar and lounge area

    • Install power and control wiring and conduit for newly installed machinery and equipment. 
    • Operate, maintain, clean and relocate snowmaking and adjunct equipment as directed safely, consistent with Sun Valley Company procedures.
    • Connect power and control wiring to machines and equipment. Connect cables and wires between machines and equipment. 
    • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures. Replace damaged or broken wiring and cables. Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards. 
    • Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with snowmakers and mountain electricians to diagnose malfunctions. 
    • Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices.
    • Plan wiring layout and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. 
    • Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. 
    • Work under adverse weather conditions to complete tasks, especially when electrical equipment is out of service due to failure. 
    • Participate in proper safety classes, including Fall Arrest, Lock-out tag-out procedures and other related safety topics.
