Currently recruiting for the season that runs from May 15th, 2025 to October 1st, 2025.
The Food & Beverage Business Administration Coordinator works with the Director of Catering, Director of Convention Services, Director of Restaurants, and Executive Director of Food & Beverage on the daily administration operations of the F&B Department. The Food & Beverage Business Administration Manager will also maintain complete knowledge of the hotel, its services, and the local community resources. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Print and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to all relevant service departments
Manage and coordinate all internal meetings and events, including the creation and execution of BEOs and event communication
Work directly with select clients to coordinate event details, develop solutions and provide guidance and direction as the main meeting contact and hotel representative for assigned events
Assist Catering Managers with on-site event execution and wedding support as needed
Oversee seasonal menu updates across all restaurants, coordinating design, proofing, and production
Keep Sun Valley’s website and OpenTable listings up to date with accurate hours, menus, and descriptions
Create and post signage for meeting rooms and resort events
Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and accuracy, offering information or routing as appropriate
Maintain organized, up-to-date shared drives for the Catering and Culinary teams
Enter and manage client data using Delphi
Collaborate with the Executive Director of F&B on internal meeting preparation using PowerPoint, Excel, and online research
Maintain complete knowledge of resort offerings and local area resources to assist guests and clients
Deliver outstanding service, quality, and hospitality to internal and external stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned

Sun Valley Resort is seeking a detail-oriented Overnight Front Desk Clerk to manage nightly operations, balance daily transactions, and prepare accounting summary reports. This overnight shift (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.) allows you to enjoy your days exploring Sun Valley while playing a key role in our guest experience.

Sun Valley Resort is looking to hire a class-act Class C CDL Shuttle Driver with a Passenger Endorsement to drive in Idaho. Therefore, you should only apply with a Class C CDL Passenger Endorsement license. Our courtesy shuttle meets and greets our guests at the airport and returns them after their experience at the resort.

Sun Valley Resort Stables is seeking a passionate and experienced Horseback Lesson Instructor to join our team. Share your love for horses with guests in the beautiful setting of Sun Valley, Idaho, offering lessons for up to two riders per session. Each lesson lasts one hour, and instructors must conduct 5-6 lessons daily.

The Manager in Training program is an internship program that allows you to learn on a rotational basis multiple areas within the hospitality division at Sun Valley Resort, including Hotel Front Office, Food and Beverage, and Housekeeping departments. This position is an entry-level leadership role, which provides a hands-on opportunity. During your time in the program, we intend to allow each Manager in Training to gain exposure in multiple departments while developing their leadership style and the future stewardship of these departments. The program lasts at least 18 months and includes three rotations of approximately six months each.

A Hotel Front Desk Agent is a professional who must be able to multitask, be a team player and enjoy having great conversations. We are looking for seasonal as well as year-round team members. This position has the potential to grow to other Lodging department supervisory positions. It allows you to contact all other departments within the Resort. Some cross-training will also be part of this front desk position.

The primary function of the Spa & Pool Front Desk position is providing first-contact customer interaction, including booking spa & salon services, checking in guests, selling merchandise, and cleaning and stocking the guest areas, including the spa boutique. Any Guest Service team member must be able to adapt to meet changing demands and requirements while in the workplace.
