Pete Lane’s Mountain Sports is looking for seasonal Bike Mechanics willing to work in a fast-paced team environment. We are looking for a team-member with a positive attitude and a get it done mindset. Pete Lane’s Mountain Sports operates a large bike rental operation with e-bikes, mountain bikes, comfort bikes, gravel bikes and kid’s bikes in the heart of Sun Valley resort. We are a Trek, Kona, and Norco bike dealer and have hundreds of miles of paved trails and single track right outside our doors.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain Pete Lane’s entire bike rental fleet in top condition
Work with guests on tune and repair services for their personal bikes
Maintain and use diagnostic tools for electric bikes
Perform all maintenance work promptly
Clean and organize the tools and shop daily
Problem-solving customer requests for rental or personal bikes
Help fit customers for bikes during peak rental times
Document all maintenance work performed on the rental fleet
Manage the supply inventory and notify the supervisor when additional inventory is needed

As a Trail Crew Team Member, you’ll work closely with the Trail Crew Supervisor to build, maintain, and improve mountain trails and surrounding areas. Clear trails and the surrounding areas of debris and rubbish

The primary function of the Tennis and Pickleball Guest Service position is providing first-contact customer interaction, including booking Tennis and Pickleball lessons and clinics, overseeing Junior Camp registration and check-in, checking in guests, selling merchandise, and cleaning and stocking the guest areas. Any Guest Service team member must be able to adapt to changing workplace demands and requirements.

The Toy Store Retail Sales Associate will serve as a welcoming Sun Valley ambassador by creating a positive guest experience, assisting customers with product knowledge, and completing accurate sales transactions from selection through payment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a Sun Valley Ambassador and provide a warm and welcoming environment to each guest to visit the shop.
Help maintain a neat and tidy store by unpacking merchandise deliveries, arranging merchandise on display units, tables and shelves, and cleaning floors, counters and windows as needed.
Set up and promote in-store events with advertising and merchandise as directed by store Supervisor and leadership team.
Answer guest questions concerning use of the merchandise, pricing, appropriate age use and provide general product knowledge to sell items.
Retrieve and obtain merchandise requested by the customer and occasionally stamp, mark, or tag the merchandise price on items.
Complete sales transactions at POS to provide a total sale amount including price and tax on items selected by the guest. Accept payment and provide accurate change.
Calculate sales discounts when offered to determine the correct price of items.
Wrap and bag merchandise for customers and gift wrap items when requested.
Remove and record the amount of cash in the register at the end of the shift, and deposit cash as part of store closing procedures.
Qualifications:

Waste Diversion Ambassadors will be attendants for the waste diversion stations at resort events. Waste Diversion Ambassadors will educate event patrons while helping sort waste properly to maximize landfill diversion.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up and take down waste diversion stations
Installation and removal of all educational signage
Educate event attendees on what goes where (compost/ recycling/ landfill)
Operate the waste diversion stations while sorting waste
Remove and properly sort visible contamination from bins
Transport recyclables and compostables via hand cart, electric cart or vehicle to back-of-house recycling centers
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of, interest in, or experience with environmental sustainability and waste reduction strategies
Demonstrated ability to follow safety requirements and implement safety procedures
