Getting Here and Getting Around

While getting here can be challenging sometimes, it is well worth the effort!

Depending upon where you are located, your options include driving, flying, or taking the bus.

  • Driving:  Look up Sun Valley Resort on your favorite navigation platform, and you are on your way!
  • Flying: There are only two destination options:
    • Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN): Send us your flight information, and our Bell Service will pick you up and bring you to the resort!
    • Boise Airport (BOI): You must either book a shuttle (http://www.ctcbus.com/sun-valley-express-powered-ctc2) to the resort or drive a car. 
  • Bus: Book your ticket for Boise and catch the shuttle mentioned above. 

Once you are here, though, no car? No problem! Our excellent local bus system is completely free throughout the Ketchum/Sun Valley areas. Additional routes offer access to the rest of the Valley for a reasonable fare. 

Prefer to get around on your own two feet? We also have an excellent bike path that will get you anywhere you need to go without sharing the road!

Here you will find the perfect balance between living in the mountains and staying connected. While you can be out of town and in the mountains with no one else in sight in less than half an hour, there is always something going on throughout the community.
