You will work with team members within your department and others to complete the following tasks:
Relieve Housekeeping Manager, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, and Laundry Supervisor during scheduled days off
Perform inspections to ensure cleanliness is up to standards and meets guest expectations
Assist with the preparation schedules and payroll
Provide training and support to housekeeping and laundry staff
As the Groups Assistant, you will be working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager/ Event Coordinator/Front Operations Manager and our Reservations groups team to assist in the maintenance of all national and international groups. You will ensure the best quality of guest service is received.
Minimum of one year of experience working in a hotel front operations department. Experience working group banquets is advantageous.
Monitor changes to group bookings
Maintain communication with management regarding changes to group bookings
Maintain files and folders for all groups
Provide a weekly schedule, detailed with al groups and events scheduled to arrive at the lodge and restaurant
Greet the tour directors as they arrive to ensure all requirements are set for the arriving group
Assist Front Desk staff as needed
Assist Food & Beverage Manager for group events as needed
Assist in data entry of the group manifest

As the Baker you will prepare various bread dough, pizza dough, delicious desserts, specials, dessert garnishes, breakfast rolls/muffins, and basic preparations. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:
Prepare baked goods and fresh bread to standards of the kitchen for every service
Bake pastries for a morning coffee shop on property
Work with the Executive Chef to keep standards of pastries to a high standard
Work closely with sous chefs to communicate your needs for prep from the prep crew
Help the breakfast staff maintain food back-ups for the daily breakfast buffet
Sanitize work areas during shift and stay organized
Ensure all equipment is clean

As the Barista, you will present a courteous and positive guest service attitude. You will be responsible for making exceptional, high quality beverages to include a variety of coffee drinks and smoothies. You will also be responsible for preparing food items, cash handling and monitoring food quality and sanitary conditions. You will have a range of duties in order to assist the wait staff including:
Sanitize work areas during shift and before the next shift
Ensure all equipment is clean
Follow and complete prep list each day
Use standard recipes and presentations

As the Bell Captain, you will oversee and be responsible for the daily operations of the bell staff and luggage handling.

As a Dishwasher, you will provide fellow co-workers with assistance in the kitchen as needed and follow all sanitary and health-related protocols. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities such as:
Operate the industrial dishwasher
Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
Empty and clean all trash receptacles
Stock supplies in serving stations or storage
Empty and clean all garbage receptacles
Follow sanitation policies at all times
Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as necessary, especially at peak hours
Oversees and manages the daily operations of the events services, and all front of house employees in the absence of the F&B FOH Operations Manager. Provides strong leadership capabilities. Works closely with the staff in an efficient, courteous and dedicated manner to ensure that the guest’s expectations are exceeded. Provide quality service and enhance the guest experience while following the company’s policies and procedures.
Supervise the day-to-day activities of front of house employees and Events Manager
In coordination with the F&B FOH Operations Manager, responsible for maintaining reasonable Food and Beverage costs, and reasonable labor costs in the dining room, in keeping with the Lodge budget and guidelines
Train Events Manager on essential job functions
Work with Events Manager on set up and staffing of banquets and weddings
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals
Work with F&B Admin to coordinate and collect payments from clients after completion of events
Assist in successful on-boarding, training, and off-boarding of seasonal staff
Oversee Events Manager in maintaining, printing, and distributing banquet event orders on a daily / weekly basis
Assist with group manifest and updating event calendar

As the Front Desk Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting guests with reservations, guest check-in, guest checkout, tour bookings and general area information. You will assist the Front Desk Manager to oversee and be responsible for the daily operations of the Front Desk and staff. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:
Provide guest with lodging and local area information
Perform guest reservations, check-in and checkout procedures
Train staff and implement procedures to ensure high level of guest service and efficiency
Ensures daily, that highest quality standards of housekeeping are maintained for our guests. Ensures cleanliness and efficient service of guest rooms and public areas, including; thorough cleaning of rooms and bathrooms, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, reporting preventative maintenance and handling of guest requests. Lifting, bending, and excessive physical movements involved. Must assist in other departments or with other job duties as requested or necessary.
Work quickly and efficiently to strip hotel room linens, remake beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, replenish supplies, and report any damages or items needing repair.
Work in common areas to ensure things are organized, clean and tidy.
Work in the laundry facility to load washers & dryers, fold linens, prepare housekeeping carts.
Be a great team member who is willing to “do what it takes” to complete daily housekeeping rosters on schedule.
Greet guests in the hotel as needed and answer questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
As the Housekeeping Assistant Manager, you will coordinate the daily cleaning and preparation of guest rooms with the Housekeeping staff. You will provide excellent Guest Service to Lodge guests. The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure that every room is cleaned to the high standards of the Lodge. The Housekeeping Supervisor will follow trained procedures of chemical use and cleaning routines. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:
Formulate and communicate the daily direction to staff based on the arrival and departure of guests
Oversee the detailing, cleaning and inspections of guest rooms
Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping and Front Desk team members to ensure guest rooms are clean and ready for guest arrivals
Place linen and chemical orders

As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of lodge property and equipment. You will maintain and clean the grounds to be aesthetically appealing. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:
Walk-throughs of the grounds, picking up garbage and disposing of it
Water and fertilize plants
Mow and trim lawns
Perform equipment cleaning and maintenance
Assist with maintenance projects

The Laundry Supervisor trains, supervises and creates the schedules for laundry staff. As Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily laundering and folding of Lodge linen and for the safe and efficient operation of laundry equipment. You will perform daily inspections and maintenance of laundry equipment. You will work with team members within your department and others to complete the following tasks:
Supervise, train and provide leadership to the Laundry Attendants
Safely operate laundry equipment; launder, fold and organize all Lodge linens
Fill linen orders and maintain specific linen inventories
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals

As the Line Cook, you will prepare menu items using standardized recipes and presentations for dining room service. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:

Communicate daily with Front Desk and Housekeeping team members to respond to immediate needs
Ensure grounds and landscaping are well kept at all times
Perform standard daily lodge usage and safety checks

As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for assisting guests with reservations, guest check-ins, guest checkouts and general information. You will serve as the central information center for all lodge operations. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:
Provide guest with lodging and local area information
Perform guest reservations, check-in and checkout procedures
Balance deposits to sales and complete all accounting forms
Run end-of-day reports and package audit envelopes
Room Inspector are pivotal in providing dynamic guest service at the Seward Windsong Lodge. As a Room Inspector, you will provide comfort to our guests by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and inviting. You will work with team members within your department and others to complete the following tasks:
Clean all rooms and other areas assigned to you
Respond quickly to guest requests with accommodations that may enhance their experiences with the lodge
Ensure privacy and confidentiality for lodge guests
Address questions and concerns and report identified maintenance issues to supervisor
Responsible for the daily planning of the Windsong Lodge Reservations and room assignments. Work closely with the Front Desk staff and management team in an efficient, courteous and dedicated manner to ensure that the guest’s expectations are exceeded. Enhance the guest experience through careful pre-arrival planning while following the company and Windsong Lodge’s policies and procedures.
Minimum of one year of experience working with hotel Property Management Systems required. Experience with OTAs is advantageous.
Review incoming guest requests and complete daily room assignments for all arriving guests
Assist the in the pre-arrival process to ensure special accommodations and considerations are fulfilled prior to the guests' arrival
Organize and evaluate incoming group manifests and communicate rooming needs to Front Operations team
Be knowledgeable of lodge services, daily functions or activities occurring at the Lodge and in the area.
Utilize PMS system to input rooming notes and room assignments as needed
Assist with Front Operations duties as needed (training provided)”
