    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As Dining Room Supervisor, you will supervise the dining area and bar employees to ensure excellent guest service and enhance the dining experience for all guests. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:

    • Acknowledge and understand daily menu changes
    • Ensure excellent guest service through training and supervising of dining room and bar team members
    • Coordinate an efficient working environment between the kitchen and front of house team members
    • Accurately report food and beverage data

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Seward Windsong Lodge. As a Busser, you will assist the wait staff in serving food, filling and re-filling drinks and cleaning the guest tables. You will have a range of duties in order to assist the wait staff including:

    • Collaborate with wait staff to ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned and ready for the next guests
    • Prepare dining room for guests by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to the beginning of service
    • Support wait staff by assisting with delivery of food and retrieval of required supplies
    • Arrange tables for large parties
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary bussing station

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As the Pastry Chef / Baker you will prepare various bread dough, pizza dough, delicious desserts, specials, dessert garnishes, breakfast rolls/muffins, and basic preparations. You will have a range of duties in order to assist team members including:

    • Prepare baked goods and fresh bread to standards of the kitchen for every service
    • Bake pastries for a morning coffee shop on property
    • Work with the Executive Chef to keep standards of pastries to a high standard
    • Work closely with sous chefs to communicate your needs for prep from the prep crew
    • Help the breakfast staff maintain food back-ups for the daily breakfast buffet
    • Sanitize work areas during shift and stay organized
    • Ensure all equipment is clean

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for all food and beverage services at the lodge. You will assist with the hiring, training and supervision of all food and beverage staff. You will have a range of duties in order to assist the wait staff including:

    • Assist upper level management in operations, with focus on Food & Beverage
    • Assist with providing direction, training and development of Food & Beverage staff
    • Participate in menu design and set menu pricing with input from the Kitchen Manager and management
    • Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and training for ServSafe (food safety) and TAPs (alcohol management) policies

As a Maintenance Technician, you will undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of the premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety to maintain the buildings, guest rooms, and grounds in the best possible condition. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities to include:

    • Surveying buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards and regulations
    • Performing maintenance of electrical systems and manual repairs when necessary
    • Assisting in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
    • Maintaining heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
    • Conducting general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned

    • Experience as a maintenance technician
    • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
    • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
    • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
