Every year we hire nearly 200 seasonal employees to meet our summer seasonal needs. Some departments gear up in late March, while most job openings begin in early May and go through September, some extending into October. At a minimum, seasonal candidates are expected to be available through Sunday, September 25, 2022.

    We are looking for an individuals with:

    -Ability to teach and train staff. 
     
    The Sous Chef works together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and other supervisors is required.
     
    Note:
    This position requires a person with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Check and complete mise en place up to par and set-up the station for service.
    • Retrieve perishables and dry stocks and arranged accordingly.
    • Prepare and plate all items received from the Aloha/Clover system in a timely and accurate manner and communicates with team   members regarding timing.
    •Date and label all food containers and rotate as per standard operating procedures, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables.
    -Oversee a team of 5-6 employees at a time, ensure food items are produced on a timely manner and keeps the flow of the BOH at a nice and steady pace.

    Description: Guest services is a department that supports all operations at the resort.  This position works nights, and is responsible assisting guests, transportation, and bell services.  Also responsible for building security, grounds patrol, parking and responding to urgent situations.  May perform some light maintenance.

    • Shifts are from 9pm to 7am., weekend/holidays, some overtime
    • Hospitality and guest-oriented
    • Able to work long hours alone
    • Motivated and willing to perform many different tasks

    Experience Required/Qualifications: Currently hold or attain CPR/AED certification, valid driver's license, and prior employment working with urgent and/or emergency situations.  Be physically fit to climb ladders and lift luggage.

    Marina - Guest Docks

    Dock Staff -Welcome all resort guests and dock them upon arrival.  Duties include tying up boats, helping them with power, and telling them about marina and resort amenities.  Dock staff also help facilitate guest needs and are responsible for keeping dock tidy(garbage & recycling) 

    Dock staff must be:

    •  outgoing, energetic, and like to have fun 
    • able to hustle while being on ones feet all day
    • guest oriented (engaging and friendly)
    •  able to work as a "team" with their managers and peers. 
    • mature and respectful

    Experience: None needed and is all trainable.  Simple boating knowledge helps.

    Wage:  $15 + gratuities (gratuities vary upon individual and their ability to satisfy guests needs)

    Job Description:

    • Work approx. 30-40 hours per week with at least 2 days off
    • Shifts range from 6-10 hours; receiving shifts early morning; weekend; evening shifts
    • ‘Time’ trucks arrive can vary greatly; as will the shift to accommodate; must be flexible
    • Staff required to wear a uniform shirt and name tag provided by Roche Harbor
    • Traditional summer holidays are considered normal working days/no pay differential is given.
    • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs; operate a pallet jack & cardboard baler; organize and prioritize your daily routine
    • Process deliveries in dry storage areas, food and non-food, and the walk-in coolers and freezers
    • Responsible for cleanliness of all area’s following the receiving & storing of product
    • Rotate product in all areas to represent a First In, First out philosophy of product usage
    • Work as part of a Team and complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision
