Lime Kiln Café is Roche Harbor’s local joint, located at the end of our historic wharf building surrounded by saltwater. The Cafe opens early in the morning making donuts from scratch and serving a hearty mid-west style breakfast with crispy hashbrowns dripping with butter, fresh egg creations, famous thin style pancakes and iron skillet retro hash dishes Lime Kiln Cafés menu is made from scratch with high quality local products.
Responsibilities of Egg Cook include:
Experience Required/Qualifications: 2-3 year breakfast cooking or culinary degree. Egg mastery in high volume breakfast house. Able to prepare all egg preparations in pans including; call eggs, poached, omelets, scrambles, frittata, hash and more.

Water and Wastewater Utility Worker
Roche Harbor is seeking a Washington State certified operator inWater Treatment (WTPO 1) and/or Wastewater Treatment(Group 1).
Roche Harbor Utilities operates a water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, and propane distribution system.
Supervision:
Employee reports to supervisor or senior plant operator.
Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements
1. Performs tasks necessary to maintain structures, equipment, and grounds at the water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, distribution, collections and propane system. Monthly meter reading.
2. Cleans all plant equipment, pumps, motors, floors and walls on a periodic schedule to maintain established sanitary standards.
3. Work is medium heavy in nature, occasionally performed under hazardous or adverse weather conditions and requires attention to prevent errors or injury. Employees occasionally work in traffic, near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and with toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud. This is a physical job, the ability to kneel, walk, stoop, climb ladders, bend and carry 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day.
4. Ability to use or operate a variety of hand and power tools (weed eater, chain saw, chop saw) and motorized equipment safely and efficiently.
5. Obtains samples according to established procedure; performs standard laboratory tests. Monitor all plant operations and record data. Dedication to accurately maintain records and prepare reports.
6. Ability to react quickly and calmly in an emergency.
7. Attention to detail, initiative, problem solver and a willingness to learn new skills.
8. Ability to work effectively alone or in a team. Routine contact with other employees but must be able to work under limited supervision. Follows established procedures, maintains good communication with coworkers and supervisor.
9. Proper use of personal protective equipment.
10. Perform all work in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations and in compliance with all departmental safety policies and procedures. This includes using appropriate safety devices and equipment.
