Every year we hire nearly 200 seasonal employees to meet our summer seasonal needs. Some departments gear up in late March, while most job openings begin in early May and go through September, some extending into October. At a minimum, seasonal candidates are expected to be available through Sunday, September 29, 2019.

    Must be competent in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal and Hot Stone modalities and be able to provide quality massage/bodywork for 3-5 services per day, 4-5 day per week.  Must be willing to learn new modalities and body treatments.  Afterglow will provide training in spa signature touches and body treatment protocols.

    You will be providing massage services and body treatments to guests using Kerstin Florian Products and Spa protocols.  Assess guest needs, inquire about preferences, cautious and contraindications before beginning services.  Document services provided and obtain written consent to treat on intake form as required by Washington Administration Code 246-830-565.

    Job Summary:  Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicures to guests. Demonstrate, promote, and sell spa retail products. Answer questions about general property information and amenities. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms. Check with the guest to ensure continued comfort throughout service. Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day. Clean, maintain and sterilize tools and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and nail salon throughout your shift. Dispose of dirty linens in the proper area. Secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager on duty.

    We will provide training and education on our spa products sold in our retail area as well as basic knowledge of our spa treatments.  The receptionist is also responsible for some spa attending during off-season shifts.
