Golf Course Maintenance Operator

Golf Maintenance

Operators,under the direction of the Assistant Superintendents, operate light motorized equipment on the golf course and does related work as needed for golf course maintenance department. Standard Specifications: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Previous experience in the safe and efficient operation of small equipment, hand and power tools. SKILLS: Essential: 1. Knowledge of safe and efficient operation of small equipment. 2. Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment. 3. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. 4. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis. 5. Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time, sometimes in inclement weather. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Operates various mowers, string trimmers, edged cart paths, bunkers, sprinkler heads, and helps maintain sand bunkers. 2. Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment on a daily basis. Reports equipment problems or failure to the equipment manager immediately. 3. Returns all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility, and takes responsibility for cleaning any equipment he/she has used. 4. Assists in project work such as drainage, sod laying, preparing base soil, and any other projects that may arise through the season. SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintains effective communication and cooperation with all other departments. 2. Maintains positive interactions with club members and guests, providing a high level of customer service. 3. Performs any and all duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or other members of the senior management team, as deemed appropriate.

Golf Services

Golf Operations

The Guest Service Staff is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and striving for the highest of standards to provide each member and guest with a memorable experience. The Guest Service staff reports to the Guest Service Supervisor and Head Golf Professional. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Must be well groomed and adhere to dress code/uniform and personal appearance standards defined in the associate handbook. • Must be friendly and outgoing with a professional demeanor. • Ability to work alone during certain parts of the day. • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and possible overtime. POSITION EXPECTATIONS: • Transport all golf bags to and from entry area. We must work as a team to ensure that at least one person is present to greet member and guests at the entry area at all times. • Clean all golf clubs coming in from the golf course. We must work as a team to ensure that associates are present at the staging area when all members and guests conclude their round. • Maintain cleanliness of all outside service/staging areas. • Maintain neatness and cleanliness of cart barn and adjacent areas. • Regularly empty trash from all receptacles in and around golf shop and outside area. • Work with other golf associates in staging bags, carts, etc. for special events. • Stage ample amount of golf carts in staging area. • Thoroughly clean and park golf carts in proper storage areas. • Maintain and properly record a golf cart-detailing program. • Set the practice tee at the start of each day. • Maintain the comfort station throughout the day. • Pull all flagsticks from the range and course at the end of the day. • Maintain all practice areas throughout the day. • Ensure guests receive rental clubs as needed. Always check rental clubs in and out and ensure the sets are complete and in order. • Assist in the F&B operations during peak times as needed. • Report all golf cart malfunctions to the Head Golf Professional. • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times. • Be informed on and promote all club activities and services. • Provide excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all members and guests.

Line Cook

Food And Beverage

The Cook is responsible for preparing the highest quality food products for the restaurant and banquets, according to menu descriptions and directions. Essential Functions: • Prepare food items for the guests using a quality and pre-determined method in a timely and consistent manner. • The work station must be set up based on menu items, banquet event orders and specials, and ensures all misenplace is ready for the shift. • Proper sanitation and safety guidelines must be followed at all times, and all kitchen work and storage areas must be kept clean and organized. • Inspect all food products to maintain proper appearance, colors and appeal. • All food storage must be in proper containers in refrigerators and freezers, to maintain freshness. Qualifications: • High school degree required or GED equivalent. • Ability to read recipes and follow directions. • Ability to efficiently and safely handle knives, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment such as slicers, grinders, choppers, and mixers. • Visual acuity for near and depth and color perception, reading menus and writing orders, and checking appearance of all food products. • Able to demonstrate culinary techniques such as cutting, cooking principles, plate presentations and proper sanitation and safety practices. • Two years previous restaurant cooking experience in high end restaurant. • Positive personality and good interpersonal skills for interfacing with members, guests and staff. • Ability to make sound, common sense and rational decisions in performance of duties. • Speak, read and write the primary language (English) spoken in the work environment. • Knowledge of basic computational skills and computer or POS operation. Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must comply with Moonlight Basin's grooming and dress policies. Must be available to work the full Summer Season- June through September.

Maintenance Technician

Engineering

JOB OVERVIEW: The Maintenance Technician will be accountable for performing all daily tasks associated with engineering duties including, but not limited to: perform general repairs and services in all maintenance-related disciplines, e.g. carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, and minor electrical. Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests. Complete any and all assigned preventive maintenance procedures. Participate in OSHA/Safety programs within the organization through awareness in everyday jobs. Standard Specifications: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: • High school diploma or equivalent education. • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a construction or maintenance field. • Basic computer skills. Desirable: • Additional experience in a hotel or resort environment. Member Services Agent

Member Services

Job Duties: •Initiates interaction with members and guests to obtain and disperse information. •Creates and maintains information on all activities, events, and food & beverage offerings to provide comprehensive, accurate, and timely information to members and guests. •Seeks most efficient manner in which to meet member expectations. •Creates itineraries for members, guests, and prospective members during their visit. •Interfaces with other departments in order to meet member and guest requests. •Responsible for charging services and creating member profiles using a club management system. •Answers member, guest, and interdepartmental inquiries by telephone, fax, email, and mail. Evaluates need and assists with inquiry or directs inquiries to the proper department in a timely manner. •Assists Member Services Director with written collateral to describe programs, activities and events at the Club and in the community. •Performs other duties to ensure flawless member & guest service, not necessarily included in this description. •Assists with operations within the Member only areas of Moonlight Lodge, ranging from children’s programs/activities, to maintaining fitness area and fitness programs, to supervising the Member Lounge to ensure it is clean, organized, and Members have everything they need. On- Call Banquet Server

Food And Beverage

This position will provide the highest quality of service to our members and guests during Banquet and Member Events at Moonlight Basin. Job duties include, but are not limited to: • Serve food & beverage orders in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. Take food and beverage orders if applicable using suggestive techniques. Have complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation. • Clear tables during service. • Control guest checks and secure proper payment. • Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Managers. • Provide exceptional service. QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: • Two years Food & Beverage experience. • High school or equivalent education required. • Be able to communicate clearly and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests. • Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation and handling. • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system. • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach with hands and arms. • Ability to carry and balance dishware and glassware in the course of service. Outdoor Activities Guide

Sports Activities

Activities Guide is a Moonlight Outfitters position requiring extensive outdoor activity teaching and facilitation experience and the personality and ability to relate to and build trust with Moonlight Club members, families, and guests in a safe and fun learning environment. Activities guides facilitate member activities such as archery, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, and sporting clays. Safety and fun within a unique outdoor experience are the ultimate goals of the Moonlight Outfitters. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job function satisfactorily, which includes: • Essential Job Functions: o Plan, organize, and provide safe, fun, and professional instruction/guiding within the guidelines of the Moonlight Outfitters. o Certifications/ Training • Wilderness First Aid or equivalent emergency training. • CPR Certification. o Report to morning meetings on time with a professional attitude and appearance. o Meet and greet clients on time with a professional attitude and appearance. o Facilitate and lead outdoor activities in group and private settings. o Assess member/guest skills and tailor session appropriately for ability, goals, and environmental conditions. o Interact comfortably and seamlessly with an affluent group of members and their guests. o Determine meeting times and places for lunch and end of session, within club guidelines. o Determine client’s needs for the day and work towards exceeding those expectations. o Conduct lessons and guiding with safety as the first priority in a mountain environment. o Drop off children at the pre-determined time and place; home drop off, restaurant, or lodge. o Summarize day’s activities with clients or parents daily; review skills worked on and progress made, invite them to return. o Sign out for days’ activities and determine the next day’s schedule with Supervisor or Director. o Communicate all concerns, questions, and scheduling issues with Director/Supervisor. o Carry charged cell phone and radio at all times to be in communication with supervisors. o Participate in all required training and educational clinics. o Read and understand all safety policies and guidelines. Ask supervisor/ director for clarification on any policy you may not understand. o Attend all safety training meetings and clinics. Public Areas Housekeeper

Public Spaces

• Housekeepers are accountable for performing all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties including, but not limited to: • Cleaning and resetting all guest areas and bathrooms • Straightening furniture • Dusting and vacuuming • Emptying trash • Being courteous and helpful to members and guests, including reporting any guest requests or preferences. • Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner as outlined by supervisors. • Performs additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs. QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will promote a positive image of the property by displaying a pleasant and upbeat personality during each guest interaction and be comfortable responding to and carrying out specific guest needs and requests. Candidate should have one year prior cleaning experience. Must also be a high school graduate or equivalent vocational training. Candidates must be available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. Candidates must comply with Moonlight Basin's Grooming and Uniform Policies. Candidates must be available to work the entire Summer season- June through September. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • While performing the duties of the job, the Housekeepers are required to: • Stand and walk. • Handle or feel objects, tools, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl. • Reach with hands and arms. • Occasionally required to climb or balance. • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. • Exert physical effort in being able to clean several rooms per shift.

Steward

Food And Beverage

This position will clean, transport and store all china, glassware, silver, silverware, pots and pans used in the food and beverage operations including the Associate Dining Room. Job duties include, but are not limited to: • Maintain cleanliness of all dish machines • assist with delivering of all hot/cold food for Banquet functions • set up and break down stations • support all areas of Food and Beverage 100% to ensure our guest satisfaction • clean and sanitize and proper storage of all china, glassware, silver, silverware, pots and pans in the restaurant • ensuring that cleanliness, sanitation and recycling is of top priority • ensure kitchen is consistently stocked with the proper amounts • responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchen floors, recycle bins and oil bins • maintaining the cleanliness of the Recycle/trash room at all times. QUALIFICATIONS · High School Diploma or equivalent is required. · Minimum of one year experience in customer service position preferred. • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. • Must comply with Moonlight Basin's Uniform and Grooming policies. • Must be available to work the full Summer season- June through September. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. • Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis. • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
