Hill's Resort at Priest Lake
Priest Lake, Idaho
Spend Your Summer in the Selkirks!
Currently recruiting for the season from April 24th, 2026 to October 31st, 2026.
Established by George Hill in 1946, Hill's Resort is a unique family destination, located on the sandy shores of Priest Lake, Idaho. The resort itself is comprised of both cabins and condos. In our peak summer months these rent on a weekly basis. We also have a large full service bar, an award winning restaurant and a stunning deck. We offer our guests a truly remarkable experience.
Hill's Resort is located directly on Luby Bay, where cares are easily forgotten.
Priest Lake is best known for its pristine waters and stunning surroundings. Tucked away in Luby Bay, our guests, and staff alike enjoy days spent basking on the dock and beach, golfing, hiking and biking our endless trails, and cruising the waters on your vessel of choice (boat, kayak, canoe, or paddle-board). Nights are spent around a campfire eating s'mores, enjoying a cocktail, and dancing to acoustic music on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
Working in such a remote location is truly all a part of the experience. We are looking for those dynamite personalities who are willing to play hard but work harder. Our summer guests begin arriving in May with our busiest months being July through September. We can typically accommodate for most schedules and several of our positions are available through mid-October.
Work together, adventure together, live together! That is our motto.
Our team consists of people from all over the United States; some employees live at Priest Lake full time, while others come up just for the summer months. Some have never been to Priest Lake before and others have been coming their whole lives. With such a diverse group of people, we can guarantee that you will make friends that last a lifetime and experience a summer you will never forget!
Our ideal candidate is a go-getter. Our season is short and we pack in long hours of hard work. We are looking for self-motivated detail-oriented people. We expect our staff to take pride in their work, to create a relationship and experience with our guests, and provide the best service possible.
Our Season
Our summer season starts in May with business escalating until our peak in July and August and then we taper off to weekends only mid-October. From mid-October through mid-March our lodging is open full time but our restaurant cuts back to Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Our restaurant is closed entirely from March through April with lodging still available. Applicants with the longest availability dates will be given first consideration.
Employment Terms
Hill's Resort is open seven days a week, 365 days a year. It is imperative that you check your availability for seasonal employment, both your starting date and ending date since we expect you to honor the commitment you make to us.
We do have limited employee housing available. There are eight homes available and within each home, there is a full kitchen (cooking equipment limited but included) shared bedrooms and bathroom facilities. We also have a new employee dorm, completed in 2024, with 13 single occupancy rooms with private bathrooms, Air Conditioning, and Starlink Internet. A damage deposit of $200 is required upon arrival. If eligible, you will receive your refund after your room has been checked out by a manager.
Housing Costs are per pay period, bi-weekly, and range from $150 for double occupancy rooms in shared housing to $275 for a private room in the company's new dorm.
No pets allowed in employee housing.
In addition to this amazing environment and incredible friendships the resort offers a 40% discount on employee meals, all staff are welcome to check out rental equipment (as long as the item is not reserved by a guest), 30% discount in our store on select items and also receive a special discount at the Priest Lake Golf Course.
From the Spokane airport we are about 70 miles northeast (a two hour drive toward the Canadian border) We do coordinate airport pick-ups for those traveling here without a vehicle. There is a local grocery store at the lake, and we live about 25 miles with a beautiful drive from a large grocery store. There are gas stations, small convenience stores, a laundromat, a limited gym, restaurants/bars, a golf course and a few other resorts within the area. Having your own transportation is strongly encouraged.
If you love the outdoors we are the place for you! Possibilities are endless; camp on an island, hike to the natural water slides at Lionhead, enjoy your lunch after a storybook hike, bounding over giant boulders as it brings you to the ever glowing Hunt Lake, get ready to take an relentless amount of photos and lay beneath the night's sky as shooting star's and constellations rain above. The resort is located directly on the lake and we get the fantastic benefit of docks and amazing sun. Hanging out on the water or access the trails from your own back yard.
