  • Director of Ski And Snowboard School

    This position is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the Grand Targhee Ski and Snowboard School, and Kid's Club Activities. This is accomplished through focusing on quality control of our products, financial management, teamwork, guest relations, employee development, creation and implementation of new programs and services, hiring, training and leading the management team, administrative duties and personal development. Responsible for overall direction of instructing skiing, snowboarding, cross country, telemark and adaptive lessons. Responsible for all facets of training, safety and supervision of staff, department policies and procedures, and development and monitoring of department budget to ensure profitable operational objectives. Must be a team player, committed to the goal of exceeding guest expectations. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employees' job is to get and keep guests.   • Activity Center & Fun Zone Representative

    Responsible for the safety and well-being of children in the Activity Program and Summer Camp ranging in age from 5 to 12 yrs. Communicate with and provide feedback to parents, supervisors, and staff regarding the activities of children being cared for. Provide input to improve the overall quality of services offered in the Summer Camp. Organize creative activities, games, arts, and crafts. Take reservations and perform cashiering duties. Perform daily duties including opening, closing, and inspecting/maintaining climbing wall, mining rough, and bungee trampoline daily; operating a 24-foot climbing wall, mining rough, and bungee trampoline daily, with functions performed cleaning all areas of the Summer Camp facility. Must have good guest service skills and the ability to work with children and adults. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests. Employees will be expected to perform duties in multiple capacities within the department, potentially including Activities, Youth Programs, and Hiking.

  • Cook III Summer 2024

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

    1. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices. 
    2. Follow guidelines set forth and recipes to create dishes. 
    3. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. 
    4. Portion, arrange and garnish food so it can be served to resort guests. 
    5. Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils. 
    6. Flexible working hours.? Some job sharing may be required. 
    7. This is not an exhaustive list and other duties may be assigned, as necessary. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY: 

    1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests. 
    2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. 
    3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. 
    4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures. 
    5. Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others. 
    6. Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies. 
  • Day Public Safety

    Alta, Wyoming

    Responsible for completing assigned rounds throughout the work shift, assists with periodic parking lot rounds, ensures campground compliance, provides assistance in the event of theft or property damage, completes reports in relation to theft, property damage, and/or injury (after hours only), files reports in accordance with Grand Targhee’s file retention policy, monitors security cameras and may need to locate/remove camera footage for retention, helps the Human Resources department in the event assistance is needed, enforces all of Grand Targhee’s policies and procedures, works as a member of a team and communicates all pertinent information with co-workers (next shift) to allow a seamless transition of information, notifies authorities in the event of an emergency, and acts as a ambassador of Grand Targhee by assisting guests and employees alike. Responsible for providing protection to employees, guests and company property.  Supports the Guest Services and Facilities departments.  Additional responsibilities as assigned.

    Responsible for directing and overseeing all fiscal functions of the Resort in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with appropriate financial management techniques and practices. Provide strategic leadership for the Resort by working with the Grand Targhee Resort Senior Staff to establish goals, strategies, plans and policies.   A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

  • Front Desk Representative

    Be the smiling face that greets our lodging guests as they check in to the resort. Work in the Tetons from the comfort of a cozy front desk office. Must be comfortable working on computers, answering a multiline switchboard phone as the resort operator, and dealing with people in a customer service setting.
  • Pool Attendant

    We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy pool attendant to maintain a safe clean and orderly pool area at Grand Targhee Resort. The pool attendant will be required to attend to guest needs by taking and running food orders, enforcing safety rules and ensuring that guests in the pool area are lodging or paid guests. (Full-time & Part-time Seasonal)

  • Sous Chef
