After employment has been secured, options can be discussed with the Grand Targhee Human Resources team, or employees are also welcome to secure housing on their own if they prefer.

    Lead a High-Energy Mountain Venue 

    We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader to oversee daily operations of the Trap Bar & Poder Cache, and support the broader Food & Beverage program at Grand Targhee Resort. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy, guest-focused environment and is passionate about building strong teams, delivering exceptional experiences, and driving operational excellence.

    As a key member of the F&B leadership team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the guest experience, mentoring team members, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations across service, events, and entertainment.

    What You’ll Do 

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 40+ front-of-house employees 

    • Run daily Trap Bar and Powder Cache operations; act as MOD and key decision-maker 

    • Maintain strong floor presence and support service as needed 

    • Execute and uphold service standards, quality, and consistency 

    • Build schedules aligned with business levels, reservations, and events

    Guest Services

    Guest Services Lead

    Alta, Wyoming

    SUMMARY

    While working as a Guest Services Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Guest Services Supervisor and overseeing Guest Services team. This role is a hybrid format of customer-facing responsibilities such as selling tickets and supporting the front-line team, as well as serving as an event coordinator for departmental events. You will be the first line of leadership presence for both employees and guests. This position oversees and executes daily departmental functions and plays an active role in our department’s long-term development. Our number one goal is delivering phenomenal guest service!

    A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Provide guest-facing customer service, promote product sales, problem solve, and guest de-escalation.

    2. Balance till and handles electronic and physical payments.

    3. Assist in seasonal staff onboarding and training.

    4. Collaborate with other Team Leads to manage daily operations.

    5. Oversee Guest Services Representatives and Pool Attendants.

    6. Create and implement small-scale departmental events focused on engaging local clientele.

    7. Play an active role in developing this position in alignment with our long-term vision. Manage inventory.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position oversees Guest Service Representatives and Pool Attendants. Guest Services Leads are responsible for playing an active role in daily department responsibilities and event coordination. This role assists the department managers with seasonal performance coaching and is responsible for their team’s daily feedback and support.  

    WORK SCHEDULE 

    Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Prior guest service experience is required, and experience in ski resort ticketing and/or event management is preferred. Experience with RTP, Aspenware, and/or equivalent POS and online product platforms is a bonus. Event coordination experience preferred.

    Youth Mountain Bike Guide

    Alta, Wyoming

    SUMMARY  

    We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Youth MTB Guides to lead and supervise campers, focusing on mountain bike skills and learning. Guides will work closely with fellow staff members to ensure a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children aged 6 – 12. Our bike camp offers weekly themed programs that provide kids with an exciting and enriching outdoor experience. Through mountain biking, our campers get to explore and grow in a supportive environment. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

    1. Lead and supervise campers in daily activities, focusing on mountain biking skills and learning, but also including other outdoor adventures.  

    2. Ensure the safety and well-being of all mountain bike campers by following safety protocols and emergency procedures. 

    3. Foster a positive and inclusive camp atmosphere through team-building and mentorship. 

    4. Assist in planning and executing engaging mountain bike camp learning and educational activities. 

    5. Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members. 

    6. Handle minor behavioral and medical issues in accordance with camp policies. 

    7. Maintain a clean and organized camp environment. 

    8. Ensure health and safety standards.  

    9. Show sensitivity to campers' needs, interact appropriately with them in various situations, appropriately model behavior and use positive behavior management techniques. 

    10. Monitor children during swim time including acting as a “lookout,” helping children in the pool. 

    WORK SCHEDULE

    • Monday – Friday availability for the weeks of June 15th through August 21st

    • Approx 40 hours per week 8:30-4:30 

    • Must be available for staff training before those weeks begin. 

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

    Must have prior mountain bike education/instructing experience and participate in staff training. Must have general knowledge of laws and legal issues involving childcare.  

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Guest Services

    Summer Mountain Host (Seasonal Full and Part-Time)

    Alta, Wyoming

    SUMMARY

    SUMMER 2026: The Mountain Host is a friendly and knowledgeable representative of Grand Targhee Resort, dedicated to providing exceptional guest service. This role involves assisting guests with questions in common areas, on the mountain, and at various points of interest across the resort. The Mountain Host ensures that guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience by offering assistance, information, and guidance wherever needed. 

     A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee Ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Provide a warm welcome to all guests arriving at the resort. 

    2. Assist guests with directions, information about summer hiking and biking trails, activities and mountain bike lift access, resort amenities, and general inquiries. 

    3. Offer help to guests in common areas, such as the Plaza, restaurants, and parking lots, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed. 

    4. Provide information about daily events, entertainment options, and special promotions within the resort. 

    5. Answer questions about all resort offerings including lodging, restaurants and available products. 

    6. Understand summer operations to help inform guests of our year-round operations. 

    7. Stationed at designated areas on the mountain to assist guests with trail information, safety guidance, and any other needs. 

    8. Support resort staff to clear pathways if necessary. 

    9. Promote safe summer recreation practices by informing guests about mountain safety protocols and monitoring adherence to resort rules. 

    10. Be aware of weather conditions and communicate any potential hazards or closures to guests. 

    11. Work closely with other departments, including Security, Facilities Lift Operations, and Guest Services, to ensure a seamless guest experience. 

    12. Communicate guest feedback and concerns to the Mountain Host Supervisor for continuous improvement of services.

    Guest Services

    Guest Services Pool Attendant (Seasonal Full and Part-Time)

    Alta, Wyoming

    SUMMARY

    SUMMER 2026: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for the outdoors and bringing a high quality of customer service to Grand Targhee’s outdoor pool this summer. As a member of the Guest Services team, you will greet guests as they arrive at the pool, verify their access for the day, or sell them a pass at the door. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Check in all pool users including members, lodging guests, punch pack users, day guests, and swim lesson guests. 

    2. Manage payments, keep a balanced till, and oversee guest accounts within the POS system.

    3. Provide a great Guest Experience while ensuring and upholding the safety and security of the pool area and enforcing pool and resort regulations.

    4. Perform hourly housekeeping tasks around the pool area.

    5. Monitor and use a radio as the primary method of communication.

    6. Monitor weather and be prepared to manage pool closures and evacuation.

    7. Partner with the Guest Services team and support when needed.

    8. Take initiative to solve guest concerns and complete tasks.

    9. Partner with facilities and security team on any facility or guest related issues.

    RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY

    1. Protect the safety of self, workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests. 

    2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. 

    3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.

    High School Diploma or some high school education preferred. Previous experience in Guest Services, Hospitality, and/or lifeguarding preferred.

    Banquet Lead (Seasonal Full-Time)

    Alta, Wyoming

    SUMMARY

    SUMMER 2026: This position acts as a liaison between service staff and Events Manager. They will be responsible for leading Front of House and receiving staff in efficient and accurate event set up, execution and breakdown of events. They will ensure the delivery of high-quality food and beverage service to guests through leading by example and managing staff.  A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Serve resort guests in a timely and courteous manner, maintaining strong people skills in a fast-paced environment

    2. Lead, supervise, and task Front of house staff with successful and accurate banquet set up and break down.

    3. Reference BEOs and recs to ensure the necessary items, materials and supplies are accounted for.  

    4. Demonstrate a strong understanding of food service and banquet operations, including setup, service, and overall event execution.

    5. Work collaboratively with other departments, including but not limited to Special Events, Marketing, Mountain Operations, Maintenance and Housekeeping

    6. Supervise, coordinate, and task Front of House banquet staff during events.

    7. Demonstrate strong attention to detail in setting décor, ceremony site, center pieces, head table, welcome table, etc., as well as service areas.

    8. Coordinate effectively with Back of House staff to ensure proper timing of food service, accuracy of BEOs and quality of food.

    9. Clean food and beverage preparation areas and be responsible for overall maintenance of event facilities.

    10. Utilize proper food safety practices to ensure cleanliness of food and beverage preparation areas.

    11. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as deemed necessary and as assigned.

    12. Be cost conscious and honest.

    13. Monitor staff performance, provide training as necessary, and report inefficiencies to Banquets Manager.

    14. Communicate with both clients and Banquets manager to address concerns and promptly resolve issues.

    15. Effectively multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and  quality customer service.

    SUMMARY  

    The Bike Builder assembles and fine-tunes new bicycles with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. This role includes building a wide range of bikes, including one-speed children’s bikes, road bikes of all levels, full-suspension mountain bikes, custom builds, cargo bikes, and more - essentially all types of bicycles. The Builder works from a fully equipped bench with company-provided tools and completes builds in accordance with Habitat safety standards and procedures for both the retail floor and rental fleet.

    SUMMER 2026: The Dispatcher is responsible for the accurate logging, coordination, and dissemination of current information across the Mountain Operations Departments and other departments as needed. This role also supports Risk Management efforts by assisting in developing, implementing, and maintaining risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential risks.

    CDL Shuttle  Drivers (Full-Time, or Part-Time Seasonal) 

    This position is responsible for transporting guests and employees from designated areas in Teton Valley, Idaho to the resort. Operate shuttle in a safe and efficient manner. Perform pre-trip inspections and tally ridership. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Arrive at work on time when scheduled.

    2. Greet guests and employees and maintain a friendly, professional attitude.

    3. Obtain and keep up-to-date a Wyoming or Idaho Class "C" Drivers' License with passenger endorsement. For CDL position only

    4. Adhere to safety rules to ensure safety of guests, employees and equipment.

    5. Conduct daily vehicle inspection prior to driving shuttle.  Report any problems immediately in writing to Vehicle Maintenance Department.

    6. Report any personal driving infraction to Supervisor as soon as possible.  Failure to do so could mean dismissal from duties.

    7. Some job sharing may be required.

    8. RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:

    9. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times.

    10. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.

    11. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.

    12. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort’s Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals.

    13. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.

    14. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Must be 25 years old and have a valid drivers license (for CDL position, must have Class "C" CDL with passenger carrier endorsement or better). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    1.  Ensure that all dishes and equipment are clean and sanitized

    2.  Ensure that all floors are kept clean and dry.

    3.  Remove garbage and trash, ensuring clutter-free work areas.

    4.  Responsible for daily cleaning duties throughout F&B.

    5.  Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    6.  Clean and organize service ware, cookware, and dish station.

    7.  Housekeeping in F&B areas.
