  • IT System Administrator

    POSITION SUMMARY:   

    The IT Systems Administrator installs, configures, maintains, supports, trouble-shoots hardware, software and connectivity issues. The IT Administrator coordinates training for software programs and serves as the onsite expert on POS systems.  

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Coordinates the installation and configuration of IT systems and hardware 

    • Coordinates and ensures completion of software and hardware training  

    • Provides front-line support for end users in coordination with the associated vendor 

    • Trouble-shoots and coordinates system issue resolution and repair 

    • Maintains hardware including computers, network infrastructure, security systems, peripherals, and all related devices. 

    • Maintains documentation for all IT systems and hardware in a centralized, backed up location 

    • Serves as main point of contact for POS system management; becomes software expert user by building strong relationships with vendors and learning system to troubleshoot on his/her own 

    • Ensure organized installation of workstations, POS, AV to company standard 

    • Ability to professionally install basic wiring and ports  

    • Responsible for installation and maintenance of all indoor/outdoor security cameras 

    • Other duties and projects as assigned  

     

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Establish and maintain a positive, professional working relationships with team members of all levels 

    • Receive and complete work orders in a timely manner, or forward to the appropriate employee/company 

    • Primary boots-on-ground employee for technical issues 

    • Establish internal file system or maintain current SharePoint files and provide training for use of either 

    • Troubleshoot general software issues 

    • Maintain Tickets, Retail, and Rentals item databases 

     

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: 

    • Excellent communication skills 

    • Patience, poise, ability to remain calm in a crisis  

    • Desire to work independently with minimal direction  

    • Good organizational and follow-up skills 

    • Significant IT experience including hardware, software and operating systems 

    • Experience in the ski industry a plus 

     

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS: 

    • Experience with Axxess, accesso, Digital Dining and Square Software applications preferred 

    • College degree, vocational training, or extensive professional experience in IT required 

    • Must clearly read, write and communicate in English 

    • Minimum 6 years experience in IT or related field in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, and peripherals required 

    • Proficiency with install, configuration, and use of Microsoft operating systems, common applications such as the Office365 suite, and to learn and support configurations of highly customized applications; telecom experience is a plus 

    • Significant IT experience including hardware, software and operating systems 

     

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: 

    • Indoor and outdoor work in a mountain environment 

    • Dexterity to use keyboard and install wiring 

    • Requires working on weekends and on holidays throughout the year and some evenings. 

    • Must work in cramped spaces: under desks, behind computer equipment, and in wiring closets 

    • May work on ladders, roofs, ceilings and other high locations 

    • Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. (computers, monitors, printers, etc.)  

    • Use various hand tools such as screwdrivers, cable crimpers, etc.

  • Golf Irrigation Technician

    Golf Irrigation Technician

    Reports To: Golf Superintendent

    Ideal candidates are problem solvers, resourceful, and have basic knowledge of electricity and hydraulics related to an irrigation system. Prior experience with “Toro Irrigation system” a plus but not required.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

    • Perform routine maintenance on irrigation equipment as assigned by supervisor. 
    • Troubleshoot issues with irrigation equipment.
    • Communicate parts and supply needs to supervisor.

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Occasionally supervises a small labor force for special projects, and performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
    • Reports golf course conditions to the golf course superintendent or assistant golf course superintendent
    • Repairs and ensures proper operation of the irrigation system as needed.
    • Waters greens, tees and fairways
    • Aerifies greens; verticuts and or mow tees and greens; spikes greens; operates sod cutter, spray rigs for greens and fertilizer spreaders; and mows rough with rotary and operates other equipment as directed.
    • May be asked to change pins and tee markers.
    • Ensures a safe work environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

    • Some knowledge of agronomy, turf grass science and the rules of golf
    • Ability to work carefully and ensure co-workers are working in safety.
    • Possess leadership qualities.
    • Must have willingness to learn.
    • Must be driven and possess a strong work ethic.
    • Must be dependable.
    • Ability to understand and follow oral instructions.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: 

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.

  • Senior Manager of Human Resources

    POSITION SUMMARY:  The Senior Manager of Human Resources is responsible for all daily HR operations including payroll, benefit administration, orientation and training, employee housing and transportation, conflict resolution, oversight of HRIS system, employee on and off boarding, maintenance of personnel files, I-9’s, annual review and updating of Employee Handbook and company policies, job descriptions, recruiting and job postings, development and execution of employee recognition and tenure programs, employee survey, annual evaluation program, and willingness and ability to work in a team environment helping in the field during high volume periods and establishing an approachable, open-door, can-do atmosphere and attitude in HR.  

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Maintain confidentiality always, maintain appropriate, professional relationships with all levels of staff. 
    • Lead by example in accordance with the policies and guidelines of Granby Ranch.
    • Manage HRIS and payroll system including bi-weekly payroll submission, off cycle checks, W-2 distribution, deduction set up, paid time off accruals and usage, other payroll related tasks.
    • Administration of benefits - medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD, LIFE, and other ancillary benefits.
    • Responsible for employee housing program establishing working relationships with local business and condo owners to secure 130 winter beds and 45 summer beds.  Prepare and maintain tenant and owner leases and provide guidance to Housing Coordinator responsible for check-in and check-out process, collection of rent, deposit, and fees, execution of tenant lease bi-weekly property inspections, and working with owners to address maintenance issues throughout the lease term.
    • Responsible for establishing and maintaining recruiting channels for staffing 4 season resort operations, management positions.
    • Manage J-1 Work and Travel program including collaborating with management companies, confirming documents, etc.
    • Create and execute winter and summer employee orientations and training throughout the year.
    • Execute employee recognition programs and end of season celebrations.
    • Execute performance evaluation program throughout the year.
    • Execute employee engagement survey and collect data for discussion with management team.
    • Provide guidance and counsel to managers on employee performance and behavior issues, execute involuntary terminations as necessary.
    • Build and manage to annual zero-based budget including labor and expense for HR operations and Employee Housing program.
    • Responsible for 2 direct reports and coordinating job sharing throughout resort.

    • Assist and support other departments as necessary (may include activities such as bussing tables, parking cars, cashiering).

    • Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and be insurable under our company policy.
    • Minimum of seven (7) year’s HR and leadership experience required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Must be able to stand 10%, sit or stand 80% and walk 20%.
    • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
    • Dexterity for filing, typing, and other basic office skills.
    • Verbal and auditory abilities necessary for communication with others.
    • Primarily office work with regular travel outdoors for various duties in a mountain environment with variable weather conditions.
