Nestled in the majestic Rocky Mountains, Granby Ranch is 90 miles northwest of Denver in Granby, Colorado. We are 25 minutes from Winter Park, 25 minutes from the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and 8 minutes from the town of Granby. Granby offers a western hospitality and a friendly small-town vibe that makes visitors feel right at home.

Having a car is recommended but not required; employee transportation is provided during the winter season between the housing units, work and the grocery store. Housing inspections are conducted biweekly. Employee housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of units are pet-friendly.

Adhere meticulously to all safety training and policies
Use power tools such as chainsaws and brush saws to clear trees, saplings and blowdowns from trails (chainsaw training and certification available)
Use drills and other power tools for rock work, timber construction and light carpentry projects
Use a variety of rigging, typically using a grip hoist and/or a rope winch to move rocks, logs, soil and other heavy materials on project sites
Operate small equipment such as power wheelbarrows as needed under the direction of the supervisor

Snowmaking Responsibilities:
Execution of safe and efficient production of man-made snow ensuring high quality production for exceptional ski/ride experiences. Understand system and equipment to maximize production for weather conditions and train and lead team to execute appropriately.
Upkeep and maintenance of all equipment, pump stations, and software. Maintains professional and productive relationship with contractors and suppliers to ensure successful execution.
Management and documentation of water usage.
Assist GM with capital planning for new equipment and expansion projects including collecting bids, building budget, coordinating contractors and in house departments.
Project leader in the field for summer system repairs, expansion/improvements; point person for coordinating contractors as needed for projects.
Timely communication of terrain openings, collaborating with Patrol, Marketing, Ski and Ride School, and GM to ensure the needs of the company are prioritized.
Grooming and Terrain Park Responsibilities:
Provide direction and oversight for grooming and terrain park staff and operations ensuring high quality snow surface, efficient and timely grooming of trails, and beginner/intermediate terrain park features.
Ensure daily documentation of terrain park maintenance by all park crew.
Assists with Summer Trail Crew:
Water run off/ natural spring diversion for trails and lift terminals.
Downhill bike trail maintenance and documentation of all activities daily.
General Responsibilities:
Hire, train, manage, mentor 1 supervisor, 1 lead groomer, 8-10 snowmakers, 3-4 snowcat operators, 3-4 terrain park attendants.
Maintain a culture of safety, ensuring PPE is available and used at all times, ensuring proper vehicle training is conducted and documented, daily/weekly safety topics are conducted and documented.
Willing and able to communicate expectations and hold staff accountable both verbally and in writing.
Maintain appropriate, professional relationships with all levels of staff, business partners, and contractors.
Facilitates effective and efficient communication between departments and with Marketing to ensure website and social media feeds are up to date with all necessary Mountain Ops related material – maps, safety messaging, trail conditions, events.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide a variety of patrol services including responding to reported emergencies on the mountain to evaluate injured guests and provide emergency care, as appropriate, within skill and certification levels. Provides guest services, lift evacuation if needed, search and rescue, and supports other departments as needed. Mountain Bike Patrollers are ambassadors for the resort, assists in creating a positive guest experience, and nurtures a team atmosphere for staff.

Lift Electrical/Maintenance Supervisor
LIFT ELECTRICAL/MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lift Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair of components for all aerial tramways and conveyor and extensive knowledge and experience with the electrical aspects of ariel tramways and conveyors. This position works daily in the field with the mechanics performing daily inspection and start up and shut down procedures, training mechanics, trouble-shooting mechanical and electrical issues. This position must be able to read electrical schematics and have strong ability to troubleshoot and repair lift control systems, night ski lighting, and assist with electrical troubleshooting throughout Resort.

Expected Start Date: April 15, 2026 (school end date is considered)
Pay Range: $17-20/hour DOE
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Maintain the golf course and the surrounding grounds. Responsible for keeping the golf course in the best possible condition. Golf maintenance includes mowing, trimming, top dressing, fertilizing, maintenance of bunkers, golf course set up, and general maintenance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Golf Course set up includes:
· Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following company safety standards and manufacturer’s recommendations
· Operates tractor to till, cultivate, and grade new turf areas,
· Mow golf course areas such as greens, tees, fairways and rough and to exercise care not to injure turf or shrubs.
· Uses hoses and sprinkler systems to irrigate turf.
· Digs and rakes ground to prepare new turf areas
· Plants, trims, and maintains trees and shrubs.
· Follows safety regulations
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of the general game of golf is preferred.
· Must be able to operate motorized equipment necessary for golf course maintenance.
· Must possess a positive attitude and willingness to work hard and help.
· Must be dependable, show up on time and work designated shift hours
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
· You will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
· The employee is occasionally exposed to wildlife such as snakes, scorpions, spiders, bees and hornets.
