Our Resort Line Cooks prepare, plan, prep, organize the line setup and provide quality service in all areas of food production. Assists in developing a progressive, exciting, specialty restaurant food program, incorporating healthy farm-to-table, produce, ingredients, and products. The Line Cook exhibits organization, time management, cleanliness and awareness in regards to food production, food and plate presentation, kitchen line operations, food safety and HACCP guidelines. Understands basic industry food, wine, service trends, and is active in continued culinary development and education. Possess artistic talent.

Repair and maintain Resort vehicles, Adventure Center vehicles, golf carts and equipment. Oversee auto maintenance shop activities, purchases and procedures. Create and maintain vehicle maintenance records for all areas of service with maintenance procedures, requirements and policies.
- Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the fleet maintenance program
- Oversee the auto maintenance shop area; prioritize vehicles repair and maintenance work
- Working knowledge of all vehicles; spot check vehicles for performance in the field, test drive vehicles to assure proper maintenance and other anomalies
- Perform general maintenance to vehicles and equipment
- Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by supervisor in regards to business needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

The Resort Food & Beverage Director manages daily operations of all aspects of the Food & Beverage department within the Resort. Understands the importance of organization, time management, cleanliness and punctuality in regards to paperwork, meetings, deadlines and returning phone calls. Adheres to Gateway Canyons’ Food & Beverage Guidelines. Responsible to educate, train and give direction to staff. Will work in united direction with Senior Management and General Managing in regards to operations, standards and character of restaurants/kitchens.

Our Front Desk Associates check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently. Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
- Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements. Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
- Communicate services and amenities of the Resort to guests.
- Communicate VIP arrivals to designated personnel for escort and delivery of amenities
- Document and confirm reservations and cancellations.
- Block rooms in the system and follow through on designated requirements.
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e. special requests, amenity delivery)
- Resolve discrepancies on rooms status report with Housekeeping.
- Process checkouts; resolve any late charges, present folio to guest and resolve any disputed charges; settle guest accounts.
- Conduct group check-ins/outs
- Assist all departments/executives in obtaining appropriate information regarding groups, inventory, and guest information
- Adhere to all cashiering procedures
- Document pertinent information in the logbook
- Assist in other Front Desk areas as assigned

Leads and manages the Resort landscaping team. Maintain the interior/exterior grounds of the Resort, ensuring that the grounds are free of foliage and debris. Participate in the preventive maintenance program of all-building equipment and rooms. Work closely with Property Operations Director in scheduling work and setting priorities.
- Ensure all landscaping personnel adhere to company and departmental policies, procedures and standards. Determine personnel staffing levels and assign duties.
- Supervise, train and inspect the performance of Landscaping staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to the Resort’s standards
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program of all-building equipment and guestrooms, including the training of the Engineering staff on the management of such a program.
- Maintain inventory of all parts and supplies; ensure inventory of parts so as not to be left without needed supplies
- Purchase all parts, supplies, tools and equipment related to Landscaping.
- Mow/edge lawn and walkways.
- Apply pesticides and herbicides, and pull weeds.
- Prune trees and shrubs.
- Clean planters/planter boxes.
- Rake leaves.
- Haul rubbish; clean and replace compactor.
- Fertilize lawn.
- Replant areas as directed by Property Operations Manager.
- Operate and maintain irrigation system.
- Clean and maintain ponds and water features.
Full time, year round position; $50,000-55,000 annually

Process all soiled linens, terry, and food & beverage linens by operating all laundry machinery in accordance to hotel's standards.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment; replenish as needed throughout the shift.

Separate soiled bed linen/terry/food and beverage table linens; bundle and document amounts of each bundle.

Sort all stained/damaged items and determine status for rewash or discard; maintain continuous inventory of discard items.

Remove all debris on floors after each sorting.

Operate all laundry machines and add designated chemicals in accordance with specified amounts, times and temperatures for the particular articles to be washed.

Remove washed articles from the washing machine when the cycle is complete. Inspect cleanliness and place in clean linen carts.

Transport cart of washed linen to dryers and place in dryers according to load size. Set dryers to designated times and temperatures for the particular articles to be dried.

Remove articles from dryer when cycle is complete and place in clean linen cart. Transport cart to proper work area for finishing.

Operate the ironing and folder machines. Check the cleanliness and condition of articles while processing through the machines; separate damaged/stained articles.

Fold cleaned articles and stack into designated amounts by type and size. Place stacks in specified areas for distribution.

Issue clean table linens and service towels/rags to Food and Beverage personnel.

Maintain accurate poundage records of dry cleaning and laundry.

Responsible for the auditing of all charges and postings, correcting work as required. The Night Auditor reconciles daily activity and closes all accounts in preparation for the new day. All information will be processed and formatted into daily reports and distributed as the Morning Reports. Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently: process all payments according to hotel requirements. Provide information and assistance to guests and visitors.
• Pick up, count and maintain bank. Secure bank at all times.• Read the logbook daily, and record all pertinent information in the log book.• Process currency exchange and payments to guest accounts.• Process adjustments, rebates, paid outs and credits as required.• Operate P.M.S. (Property Management System) and maintain security of system.• Verifies and makes corrections to the Room Rate Report.• Post and audit Banquet charges.• Reconcile telephone calls and miscellaneous accounts.• Verifies that all checks are closed, and closes and logs any open check in the P.O.S. (Point of Sale) system.• Prints Food & Beverage end of day reports.• Audit Food & Beverage cashier’s work and correct discrepancies.• Audit Rooms Cashier’s work and correct discrepancies.• Audit all miscellaneous charges. Our Servers provide excellent food and beverage service to patrons in any of our five venues and banquets - greeting and seating guest, delivery of menu, obtain beverage order, verbal presentation of menu to guest, inform guest of specials, delivery of beverages, obtain food order.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Maintain complete knowledge of table and seat numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes

- Completes other special cleaning projects as assigned.
