About Forests Tides & Treasures
After running small & large retail ventures for other Companies throughout the lower 48 & Alaska for many years, we decided to open our own retail Store in Alaska. In Oct 2017, we took over the historic Brown & Hawkins retail stores in Seward, AK. There we strove to embrace the B&H traditions of service to Locals and Visitors, with Seward’s and Alaska’s deep history at the forefront. With the sale of the B&H building in the summer of 2019, we rebranded our Retail Venture as Forests, Tides & Treasures in Oct of 2019 and then moved it all to the Boat Seward Harbor on Jan 1, 2020.
We carry a rich variety of goods that include Alaskan Art & Artisanal Goods, Outdoor Gear and Apparel, Souvenirs and Gifts, Infant and Children Toys and Apparel, Pet Supplies, Everyday Discount Den, and more! Locals and Visitors of all ages and backgrounds make up our core business. At FTT, we strive to meet all of our Guest’s needs, moods, attitudes and taste while cultivating a fun and friendly environment. Seward, Alaska is a great place to work and an amazing place to spend any extended period, no matter the time of year or weather.
