    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Floor Manager who has a proven track record managing a dynamic Retail Sales floor and Retail Staff, in addition to: day-to-day Sales Floor operations, creating a memorable experience for guests, managing & developing the retail team, maintaining a dynamic and appealing retail environment; contributing to the overall profitability of the store; a strategic and analytical mindset; and maintaining and nurturing our brand.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and successfully maintain a smooth, efficient, effective, and profitable store that reflects the FTT brand and culture
    • Recruit and develop the FTT Retail Sales Floor Team, including the creation of weekly work schedules, assigning daily tasks, and maintaining accountability at all levels
    • Ensure that staff understand and can successfully execute all facets of their jobs, including but not limited to cash handling, re-stocking, merchandising, and customer service
    • Must know how to create, nurture, and sustain company culture for the retail employees while keeping profitability and company health at the forefront
    • Ensure compliance with existing health and safety regulations
    • Coordinate, analyze, observe, meet deadlines, and make decisions that reflect the FTT brand and company strategies
    • Confidently present bi-weekly updates to executive team members, including any observations that may be important to the business as a whole
    • Oversee daily restocking of the sales floor while maintaining a clean, safe, and intriguing merchandise strategy that reflects FTT aesthetics
    • Support and assist the Inventory Manager and the entire FTT Team as needed to process all products and web orders in a timely and efficient manner. 
    • Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
    • Communicate daily with ownership about store operations, staff & guest interactions, and identifiable trends

    • Must have up-to-date knowledge of retail and culture trends, including what's trending on social media
    • Must be fluent in communicating effectively with Gen Z, the most prominent age group for our seasonal employees


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma/ GED and some college or equivalent experience required
    • Min. 2 years of experience in retail management within the tourism, outdoor, gift, and/or big box environment with at least $500k in annual sales
    • Experience in managing and training a team of at least 6
    • Excellent verbal/written communication, computer, and organizational skills
    • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
    • Understands and can transmit to staff the importance of customer service and adhering to company branding
    • Solid work ethic, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback
    • Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem-solve
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Able to stand for extended periods of up to 8 hours. Able to lift a maximum of 30lbs pounds while frequently lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds
    • Can follow & implement FTT policies, procedures, and safety policies while holding all staff accountable
    • Must have a punctual and on-time record and have flexible work availability, that includes day, night, and weekends. May be required to work some overtime, nights, and/or weekends as needed
    • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
    • Must successfully pass a background check

In this position, you will play a pivotal warehouse role, working alongside our retail team, interacting with our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our Store.

    • Working with all types of guests, providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service
    • Helping our guests find exactly what they need, when they need it by keeping the Store fully stocked, merchandised, and priced correctly
    • Support the FTT Team in maintaining a visually appealing, dynamic, clean, and safe retail environment.
    • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized receiving area and warehouse
    • Supporting the inventory manager and Warehouse Team in receiving, processing, replenishing, and merchandising all inventory
    • Supporting the FTT Team in maintaining consistent customer service and company branding standards.
    • Assisting on the sales floor as needed, fully understanding the point-of-sale system and product knowledge. 
    • Learn and actively share details about the characteristics and origins of merchandise with Guests.
    • Processing and fulfilling all web orders, returns, and refunds daily while communicating with the Guests, Management Team, and Warehouse Team as required
    • Must have flexible work hours, day, night, and/or weekends, and be punctual. May be required to work overtime, nights, and/or weekends

    Position Overview:

    We’re looking for a friendly, communicative, and customer service-oriented Retail Warehouse Manager who can keep our store stocked and looking great so that we can create memorable experiences for our Guests. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing our Retail Team, interacting with our Guests, and contributing to the store's overall success and profitability.

    Responsibilities:

    • Keep store fully stocked, merchandised, and priced accurately.
    • Partner with the Management Team to maintain a visually appealing, dynamic, clean, and safe environment while maintaining a safe, clean, organized Warehouse, Receiving & Off-site storage area.
    • Oversee and ensure that all receiving, inventory processing, replenishment, and merchandising are executed completely and correctly daily.
    • Partner with the Store Management Team to prioritize, assign, and follow up on all tasks assigned to the team. 
    • Optimize inventory levels and turns through a thorough analysis of sales and inventory positions to proactively manage low-stock, out-of-stock, and dead-stock positions.
    • Manage, monitor, and optimize shipping procedures and policies, as well as the execution of in-store purchases and web orders, overseeing all communications with guests, vendors, and third-party shippers. Partner with the Management Team as needed to address all related matters.
    • Monitor and audit our shipping system to ensure accurate rates are charged regularly.
    • Order and maintain store supply levels and execute seasonally appropriate preventative maintenance as required. 
    • Open / Close the Store and carry out Supervisory responsibilities under the Company’s policies, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work; participating in evaluating staff performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and always adhere to the Company dress code.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Some College or equivalent experience
    • Worked for at least two years in an inventory supervisory or management position for a retail business with at least $500k in annual revenue within the last three years.
    • Experience in managing and training a Team of at least 3-6 staff.
    • Excellent verbal/written communication, computer, and organizational skills 
    • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
    • Self-motivated and works independently with minimal supervision.
    • Solid work ethic, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback.
    • Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem-solve. 
    • Ability to work in typical retail conditions that require standing for extended periods, lifting a maximum of 50 pounds, frequently carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds throughout the store, and climbing and descending ladders up to 8 feet in height.
