The FLY8MA Pilot Lodge is a very unique Alaskan Business!
We have two sides to our small business that complement each other. Our main focus is our online flight training website, where we provide online content via YouTube, Instagram, facebook, and our LMS website to help users complete their required FAA ground school to become licensed pilots.
The other side of our business is the "in-person" side where we offer flight training and flight tours here in Alaska to guests that are staying on-site with us at our Pilot Lodge. Our lodge currently is made up of two private runways, 6 cabins, and two airliners that have been converted into AirBnBs. When we complete construction, we will have 3 airplane homes in total and a 700 square-foot control tower 70ft tall with 360 mountain views!
Your role:
We are looking for someone to fill the role of Office Manager / Admin Assistant for our Chief Flight Instructor.
Our entire team is small, generally 4-8 people. Our office crew is generally 2-3 people.
Typical tasks include the standard answering phone calls, emails, and social media messages, as well as larger projects such as arranging collaborations with other content creators, ensuring cleaning staff maintain the Airbnb, welcoming guests, and answering any questions.
Skills needed are:
- Customer Service, detail-oriented, problem solving, G-suite, WordPress (basic skill), Adobe Suite (including Photoshop, premiere pro, and InDesign).
- Optional skills:
- SEO, content writing, social media marketing, sales funnels, email marketing, facility maintenance, Alaskan lodge experience, and video editing.
- Any sort of aviation experience is preferred.
