Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Busser to join our team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona. As a Busser, you will demonstrate excellent time management skills as well as the ability to set priorities and quickly respond to changing needs within the dining room.
Minimum pay rate: $13.85 / hour

Responsibilities
- Check in with management upon arrival for daily duties and station assignments.
- Attend pre-shift briefing, taking note of relevant information including service, food and beverage, and guest notes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room including all equipment, utensils, tables, chairs, service stations, floors, and windows.
- Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables between courses and after guests depart. Return dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and linen to dish washing area, sorting appropriately and placing them in the assigned area for proper disposition.
- Reset tables once guests leave according to floor plan or instructions from management.
- Remove and empty trash as needed.
- Assist in counting china, glass, silver and linen.
Qualifications
- At least 1-year experience or training as a Runner or Busser with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed.
- Excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.
- Ability to lift, balance and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds, for set-up, service, and clean-up.
- Visual acuity and hearing to take orders and prepare checks.
- Ability to stand or walk for the entire length of shift; may include walking up and down stairs.

- Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production.
- Prepare food and beverage products for customers by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
- Set up and operation of kitchen equipment.
- Clean equipment properly according to correct procedures.
- Keep workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and management.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Greet guests approaching stand and provide details to guests on items for sale while using suggestive selling techniques.
- Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines.
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Participate in set-up, opening & closing procedures, arrange inventory, notifies supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortages.
- Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned in addition to cashier duties (if applicable).
- Properly record all transactions via the point of sale system and informs guests of the amounts owed.
- Collect the proper money for food and beverage items; processes credit cards or determines correct change for guests.
- Account for all transactions; maintains accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shift.
Qualifications

- At least 2 years' experience in hospitality, front desk experience is preferred.

- Coordinates all daily activities and plans for sufficient staffing to clean guest rooms and public areas.
- Acts on assignments received from the Housekeeping Supervisor.

- Follows up to ensure all maintenance requests are handled in an efficient manner pertaining to guest rooms and department equipment.

- Will perform cleaning duties on slower day or when staff shortages occur.

Qualifications
- Housekeeping experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure.
- Ability to follow direction and instructions.

- Utilize organizational and time management skills to ensure prompt delivery and pickup of linens from the lodging units.

- Transport clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets. Keep closets stocked, clean and organized.

Responsibilities
- Operating and tending the machines including to wash and dry articles, such as cloth, terry, sheets, blankets, draperies, linens, rugs, and carpets ensuring the proper volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives as needed.
- Sorting and counting articles removed from dryers, then fold, wrap, or hang them.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet; washing, drying, sorting, and counting the linens; folding and restocking the linens in an efficient manner.
- Operate extractors, dyers and blower fans as needed.
- Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, to locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment.
- Determine spotting procedures and proper solvents, based on fabric and stain types.
- Iron or press articles, fabrics, banquet linens, napkins, spa linen using hand irons or pressing machines.
- Communicate with Office Coordinator and/or Laundry Supervisor regarding Housemen needs for linens on the floors/cottages.
- Track and record all loads washed and dried using provided spreadsheet to calculate productivity. Record loss of linens due to stains, tears and wear.
Qualifications
- Laundry worker experience in a hotel or other high-volume location preferred.
- Basic math skills.
- Effective communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and team.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Working environment is inside and surrounded by commercial grade washers and dryers and other various laundry service equipment.
- Temperatures will vary depending on weather and how many machines are in operation at any given time.

- Painting, hanging drywall, and repairing drywall as needed.
- Changing light bulbs, replacing fixtures, and performing similar minor electrical tasks.
- Plumbing work including opening clogged drains, repairing leaks, and performing other simple plumbing jobs.
- Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves, hooks, or closet rods
