Previous concierge, hospitality, or front desk experience preferred; experience in a resort or national park location is a plus
Knowledge of the Grand Canyon region, or the proven ability to learn quickly and confidently
Ability to multitask, solve problems, and stay calm in a dynamic environment
Familiarity with booking systems and hotel property management tools is a plus

Communicate with Office Coordinator or Laundry Supervisor regarding Housemen needs for linens for the floors and cottage
Operate and tend the machines, including washing and drying articles, such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets, ensuring the correct volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives are used as needed
Sort, count, and put away articles removed from dryers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet
Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment
Iron or press articles, fabrics, banquet linens, napkins, spa linens using hand irons or pressing machines
Record all loads washed and dried to calculate productivity, including loss of linens due to stains, tears, and wear
Ability to work effectively with others in fast-paced environments, using effective communication skills with guests and team members
Basic math skills
Laundry worker experience in a hotel or other high-volume location is beneficial

Exposure to chemicals and varying temperatures, depending on the weather and how many machines are in operation at any given time
