  • Campground Supervisor

    Campground
    Cedar Pass Lodge

    The Campground Supervisor supervises the operation of the campground, greets and assists guests, ensures compliance with campground rules, maintains campsites, and provides exceptional customer service to all campground visitors.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Completes all campground opening and closing procedures including safety checks, making recommendations and decisions on repairs and upkeep, ordering necessary items and equipment and ensuring that all equipment is safely operating
    • Trains, schedules, disciplines, directly supervises and delegates work to department employees.
    • Reviews of the department timesheets; approves and submits timesheets to Payroll Department in a timely manner
    • Uses company reservation system to take reservations, process payments, and confirm campground arrivals
    • Collects fees from campground visitors and ensures all visitors have paid campground fees
    • Visible and available to answer questions and help visitors as necessary
    • Conducts daily litter pickup, cleans shower house, sinks, toilets, and urinals, sweeps and mops floors, washes mirrors, walls, stalls, empties trash and stocks comfort station closets and office with supplies; Empties and sorts recycling receptacles and cleans recycle bins
    • Educates visitors on campground rules and laws; walk the campground and enforce all campground rules including but not limited to pet regulations, teasing/feeding wild animals, enforcement of noise ordinance, enforcement of checkout time, ensure all visitors only have one vehicle per site, and inspect all campsites for out-of-date site permits
    • Rakes and cleans sites of debris upon guest departure including site fire rings.
    • Reports and assists with campground repairs.
    • Assists with training and supervision of department staff and make recommendations to the department head.
    • Assists with monthly safety and environmental inspections.
    • Maintains a clean campground office.
    • Knows and follows all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies.
    • Works extra shifts and hours as required.
    • Assists in other departments as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

    • Read, write, speak and understand basic English.
    • A valid Driver’s License is preferred.
    • Certified in CPR/First Aid or be able to obtain within one year of hire.
    • Knowledge of campground operations and safety.
    • Good training, supervisory and management skills.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Ability to calmly and effectively enforce campground rules and regulations.
    • Ability to visually recognize hazards and campground violations.

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

    • Ability to use outdoor maintenance equipment such as a rake, post hole digger, broom, etc.

    • The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions: Adverse conditions may include extreme heat and/or cold, wind, humidity and sometimes inclement weather.
    • Ability to visually recognize hazards and campground violations, etc.

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

    • 2 years of college education in hospitality or a related field, or 2 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of work experience and education required.
    • Associates Degree in a related field highly preferred.
    • Two years of experience working in a campground/RV Park preferred.
    • Supervisory or management experience preferred.
    • Prior work experience with, and knowledge of cleaning supplies.
    • Experience in guest service, and/or rules and regulation enforcement preferred.
    • Human/wildlife conflict experience preferred.
    • Experience with driving trailers preferred.
  • Food Service Cook

    Kitchen
    Cedar Pass Lodge

    The Food Service Cook is responsible for back-of-house duties and assists with front of house duties while ensuring high food quality, excellent customer service, and a positive guest experience.  Prepares, cooks, and delivers food to guests, and helps maintain clean kitchen and dining areas.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Prepares and cooks food items; Follows proper food production, portion control, and quality control procedures.
    • Busses and resets dining room tables; Washes dishes, utensils and other restaurant items.
    • Completes opening and closing duties, maintains proper stock levels for retail and guest-self-service items, maintains clean counter and dining areas, and ensures completion of other day-to-day operational needs.
    • Greets and assists guests in a friendly and professional manner; Takes guest orders and accurately processes transactions as required.
    • Answers phone as necessary.
    • Completes inventory, cleaning, and other logs.
    • Knows and follows all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies.
    • Responsible for reporting any observed unsafe, suspicious, or unlawful actions to management.
    • Works extra shifts and hours as required.
    • Assists in other departments as needed.

    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, or previous hospitality or related work experience preferred.
    • Cash handling experience preferred.
    • 1-year customer service experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of sanitary and safe food handling helpful.

  • Front Desk Agent

    Front Desk
    Cedar Pass Lodge

    The Front Desk Agent is responsible for coordinating reservations, greeting and registering guests upon arrival, assisting with guest requests, processing payments, and providing excellent service to all guests and visitors.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Greets guests upon arrival, performs check-ins, provides guest with any information needed while ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Books and processes lodging and activity reservations accurately.
    • Provides information to guests regarding property policies, property activities, and the surrounding area; Assists with planning activities, answers questions and provides accurate, helpful information.
    • Responds to and resolves guest inquires, complaints, and concerns.
    • Responds to emergency calls and reports incidents as necessary.
    • Answers and directs all incoming calls, schedules and performs wake up calls.
    • Accurately posts room charges and checks out departing guests.
    • Prepares daily reports.
    • Accurately processes guest payments for lodging, services, rentals, licenses, miscellaneous items, etc.
    • Ensures guest security by properly handling guest information and keys.
    • Ensures the Front Desk and surrounding area stays clean and organized.
    • Properly handles lost and found items.

  • Front Desk Supervisor

    The Front Desk Supervisor facilitates the operational success of the Front Desk Department and ensures all guests receive excellent customer service.
     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Supervises Front Desk employees; Assists with the training and assignment of duties to Front Desk employees.
    • Oversees and assists with guest reservations, check ins, and check outs; Assists with and ensures deposits are accurately refunded and cancellations are processed properly.
    • Provides information to guests regarding property policies, property activities, and the surrounding area; Assists with planning activities, answers questions and provides accurate, helpful information.
    • Ensures all guests receive excellent customer service; Acts in a professional manner including when responding to customer complaints.
    • Ensures proper accounting procedures are followed; Accurately processes guest payments for lodging, services, rentals, licenses, miscellaneous items, etc.
    • Performs checks of guest arrivals to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.
    • Runs reports and checks accuracy of all booked reservations and cancellations; Responsible for general office duties.
    • Provides information to guests regarding property policies, property activities, and the surrounding area.
    • Ensures guest security by properly handling guest information and keys.

    The Gift Shop Lead trains and assists department staff, provides efficient, professional customer service, and ensures the store is always clean and well-stocked.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Greets and assists guests; works sales floor shifts; accurately processes guest payments by operating cash register and/or credit card machine.
    • Assists Gift Store employees with discounts, returns, and other transaction issues.
    • Provides and ensures all guests receive excellent customer service.
    • Uses knowledge of Gift Store merchandise and local area to answer guest questions (i.e., where it is made, materials it is made from, artist information, product availability) as well as questions about our location and the surrounding areas.
    • Responds to customer complaints in a professional manner.
    • Assists with inventory control, ordering, receiving, stocking, and display/presentation of store merchandise; Responsible for cleanliness of the sales floor.
    • Ensures the proper opening, closing, and security procedures are followed; trains department employees as required.

    The Gift Shop Clerk provides efficient, professional customer assistance with purchases and ensures the store is always clean and well-stocked.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Greets and assists guests; works sales floor shifts; accurately processes guest payments by operating cash register and/or credit card machine.
    • Provides and ensures all guests receive excellent customer service.
    • Uses knowledge of Gift Shop merchandise and local area to answer guest questions (i.e., where it is made, materials it is made from, artist information, product availability) as well as questions about our location and the surrounding areas.
    • Responds to customer complaints in a professional manner.
    • Assists with inventory control, receiving, stocking, and display/presentation of shop merchandise.
    • Follows the proper opening, closing, and security procedures.
    • Informs management of unusual circumstances, shop issues and needs
    • Ensures the Gift Shop and related facilities remain clean, organized, and stocked.

  • Host/Cashier

    Dining Room
    Cedar Pass Lodge

    The Host/Cashier is responsible for maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant and providing excellent customer service.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Prompt, courteous and proper seating of guests in the restaurant facilities; Follows company policy regarding the seating of guests.
    • Ensures cleanliness of table before seating guests.
    • Maintains a seating waiting list as necessary.
    • Moves tables and chairs as necessary to accommodate different sized groups.
    • Completes guest transactions using a cash register and credit card machine; Counts money accurately and efficiently, makes change, and completes opening and closing reports.
    • Maintains a neat, organized front-of-house environment.
    • Responds to guest complaints in a professional manner.
    • Communicates with the Back-of-House management regarding large incoming groups, changes in schedules and any other information that affects kitchen operations.
    • Assists with opening and closing tasks and side work as needed.
    • Completes required front-of-the-house sanitation procedures.
    • Responsible for daily cleaning projects in addition to any other cleaning projects assigned; Ensures the area in and around host stand is clean and litter free.
    • Answers phones and addresses reservation requests.
    • Knowledgeable of food and beverage menus.
    • Cover shifts in other departments as needed.
    • Assist with various restaurant tasks such as carrying trays, clearing and setting tables, etc., as needed.

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of lodging units, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and property grounds.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Accurately enters and ensures the resolution of maintenance work orders and requests; Performs preventive, general, structural and routine maintenance.
    • Makes minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry to lodging units and property facilities.
    • Operates and maintains hand tools including screwdrivers, hammer, steel measuring tape, utility knife, level, pliers, wrenches and socket wrench set, shovels, brooms, step ladders, etc.
    • Uses power-operated tools including nail gun, skill saw, screwdriver, drill, etc.
    • Drives and operates maintenance vehicles on and off property; Maintains maintenance vehicles and clean interior and exterior of vehicles as needed.
    • Accurately completes all maintenance related paperwork.
    • Maintains HVAC, pool, and lighting systems as required.
    • Responsible for landscaping and property beautification projects; such as: mowing, trimming, planting, etc. as required.
    • Responds to guest requests and questions; Acts is a professional manner.
    • Follows established safety protocols when operating all tools and equipment, and when applying all products.
    • Knows and follow all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies.
    • Works extra shifts and hours as required.
    • Assist other departments as needed, including Manager on Duty (MOD).
    • Properly uses all fire equipment on premises, as needed.

    The Prep/Line Cook ensures the Kitchen is able to prepare and cook food dishes for guests in a timely manner by maintaining appropriate levels of prepared foods, ingredients, and similar items.  Prepares food orders accurately and in a timely fashion in a high volume and fast-paced kitchen.  Ensures an excellent guest experience and helps ensure the Kitchen remains clean, organized, and in compliance with sanitation requirements.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

    • Washes, peels, cuts, prepares and cooks ingredients preparing them to be used to create menu items.
    • Measures ingredients and prepares them in accordance to recipe specifications.
    • Prepares/cooks food items and dishes using grill, flat top, oven, fryer, steamer, toaster/salamander, small kitchen appliances, and kitchen utensils including various knives.
    • Prepares all food following recipes as written; Follows all kitchen portion control measures.
    • Makes cooking adjustments to accommodate guest requests.
    • Maintains relevant kitchen documentation; Prepares prep work, thawing, and stocking lists.
    • Performs shift preparation, shift shutdowns, and cleaning duties; Cleans and organizes kitchen, cooking line, and work station.
    • Performs kitchen operations and procedures in accordance with sanitation regulations and guidelines.
    • Organizes refrigerators and cooking line.
    • Informs superiors when the ingredients stock is low and when the kitchen tools do not work properly.
