Bristol Adventures offer summer job opportunities at our lodges in and around Katmai National Park and at our flight service station located in King Salmon, Alaska. We seek skillful, high energy, people-oriented staff persons for unique Eco-tourism and sport-fishing based positions. Most of our seasonal opportunities run from mid-May through mid-September with some jobs extending into October.
All operation locations are located in the Bristol Bay region of Southwest Alaska. This region is home to the largest salmon run in the world along with the highest regional concentration of brown bears in Katmai National Park. With three of our lodges operating in remote locations within Katmai National Park, we have a front row seat to one of the most extraordinary environments in Alaska.

About Bristol Adventures
Bristol Adventures is owned by Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC), and several of our lodges operated under our Bristol Adventures umbrella have been in operation since 1950.
Bristol Adventures is the parent company of Katmailand, Inc. and Katmai Air, LLC, which operates four lodges (Kulik Lodge, Brooks Lodge, Grosvenor Lodge, and Mission Lodge) and an air service (Katmai Air) throughout Katmai National Park and the greater Bristol Bay region of Southwest Alaska.
Employment at our operations can be very fast-paced and demanding at times, but the experiences gained can be equally rewarding. Be prepared to live in remote Alaska, at the heart of a 4.9 million-acre national park. Ideal Candidate
We seek energetic customer service oriented individuals to help achieve the goal of providing exceptional experiences to all of our guests. We aim to make sure that the expectations of our guests are not only met but exceeded so each individual may have the trip of a lifetime!
Ideal candidates should be available to work the entire season from mid-May through mid/late September. Individuals should also be professional, able to work long hours, personable, and maintains a positive attitude at all times. They should also be prepared to live in remote Alaska, free from substance abuse, punctual, honest, trustworthy, flexible, a team player, and always respectful to other employees.

Room and board is provided at no cost to our employees.
Employee Perks
Our employees live and work in a world-class travel destination, which includes an employee lounge with satellite TV and limited WiFi. We also provide a laundry facility with all necessary supplies. Bedding and linens are also provided at no cost.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Employment begins and ends in Anchorage, Alaska. Once there, we provide transportation to and from our lodges via commercial airlines or through our own Katmai Air.

In the heart of Katmai National Park, we are within walking distance of the world-famous Brooks Falls with unsurpassed bear viewing opportunities! Excursions to the volcanic "Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes,” the abundance of wildlife in the park, and the incredible fishing opportunities available make Katmai National Park Alaska's most exciting destination.
Activities available in your spare time include world-class fly and/or conventional fishing, bear watching, hiking, canoe/kayaking, sightseeing, photography, and nearly anything you can imagine in the Alaska wilderness.

Current Job Openings
All preflight planning, weather dissemination, load control and route familiarity associated with Katmai Air flight operations
Conduct SAFE flight operations under challenging conditions in accordance with Katmai Air policies and procedures
CPL, Instrument Rating, Float Rating and valid FAA 2 nd Class Medical
Minimum 1500 hrs Total Time
Minimum 300 hrs SES
ATP and valid FAA 1 st Class Medical
1000+ hrs Floatplane experience in Alaska
3 or more years experience in FAA Part 135 operations
Previous Flight Instruction experience or Company Instructor/Check Pilot authority
Instrument flying proficiency
Alaska flying experience
Must be goal oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, and work well in a team or individual work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal form
Ability to take instruction as well as offer goal oriented improvements
Ability to exhibit a high level of customer service at all times
Ability to exercise good judgement
Flexibility regarding hours of work as well as duty station assignment is required as needed to meet demands of the job
Flexibility and preparedness for the sometimes harsh Alaskan environment
Katmai Air
2026 Seasonal Float Plane Pilot - C206, DHC-2, DHC-3T

General Description:
At the direction of and satisfaction of the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot, safely and skillfully operate Katmai Air aircraft as assigned.

Intermittent physical activity including bending and reaching along with prolonged periods of sitting. Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds vertically through 4 feet, and maneuvering that load at arm’s length.

Driver / Laborer
Live and work in King Salmon, Alaska!
Want to work around float planes?! We seek motivated, self starting individuals to join our team working at our float plane base in King Salmon. King Salmon is the starting point to almost all activities inside Katmai National Park and the starting point to all our guests journeys.
Job duties will include but are not limited to: Loading and offloading airplanes with luggage and freight, helping guests board planes, fueling airplanes, cleaning building, and running refuse.
- Pay depends on experience. Expected work week is 6 or 7 days per week. Standard overtime applies.

Kulik Lodge
Dishwasher
Approximate Season Dates: May 25 - October 8
The primary activity at Kulik Lodge is sportfishing. Kulik accommodates 28 guests at a time and requires excellent customer service in every position to ensure that our guests expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
Dishwasher: Wash dishes, clean, food prep, daily waste management, and assist with any other assigned duties. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
