About Togwotee Mountain Lodge
Located at the base of Angle Mountain and spread over 88 acres, Togwotee Mountain Lodge offers 88 guest rooms (54 cabins, 28 lodge rooms and 6 suites), casual dining experiences at the Red Fox Saloon or Grizzly Grill, a Fireside Lounge that includes a fireplace and pool table, and did we mention the gorgeous views of the Teton Mountain Range from property?!
In the winter season (Dec.-April) we offer extensive snowmobiling, including extreme riding in the 2.5 million acres of land surrounding us with over 600 miles of groomed trails. We also offer dog sledding onsite! Several employees bring equipment to enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding in the National Forest.
In the summer season (May-Oct.) we take advantage of the warmer weather with all types of outdoor activities, for guests and employees alike. TML provides horseback riding onsite, ranging from one hour to overnight beginner rides. Working with vendors in the Jackson Hole valley TML also books fishing, hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, float trips, and covered wagon cookouts. Hiking opportunities are endless in this region with the Bridger Teton National Forest and Wind River Mountains out our front door, the Teton Wilderness out our back door, Grand Teton National Park located 20 minutes west and Yellowstone about an hour from our location.
Between our seasons - April & Nov - we continue to employ a few housekeepers, maintenance, and our management staff.

Room and Board
Togwotee offers room and board for our staff at a nominal cost. This includes three meals a day in our Employee Dining Room and onsite housing with utilities.
Employee housing is dorm style: two individuals per room with a bathroom in each room. Some rooms have a chair, a small table/counter space, and possibly a microwave and TV. In an attempt to pair individuals with similar interests, a Housing Questionnaire is sent to each employee before the season begins. Once the season begins there is little to no swapping rooms. Employees are expected to live in a hospitable manner with their roommate.
A $125 cash deposit is due at the time of their check-in. The rooms are inspected mid-season as well as check-out. The employee will be refunded their full deposit, minus any housing damages, when they check-out of their room.
Employees receive a 30% discount on meals in both the restaurant and saloon. You’ll also receive 30% off all gift shop items that display a Togwotee logo; all other gift shop items are 20% off. Convenience store items are 20% off except for alcohol and tobacco; discounts on gas are also given. Some activities like horseback, cookouts, whitewater, and float trips are discounted; more information is given at orientation. Employees also receive discounts on lodging at certain times; please see the Front Office Manager for details.
A end of season monetary bonus is given to hourly employees who exemplify the Togwotee standards. To be eligible for the bonus, employees must complete the entire season or their agreed upon employment date. Those who quit or are terminated are not eligible, and their portion will be allotted to the remaining staff. Your bonus is dependent on your performance throughout the season, length of employment, and managerial discretion.
In the winter, snowmobile rentals are discounted and a ski pass is available for the three ski resorts in and near Jackson Hole.
Full Time Year-round employees can choose to sign up for health benefits and 401K investments. There is a required waiting period for the benefits and will be covered in more detail during the hiring process.
