    Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Sets up and breaks down work stations
    • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station
    • Cooks and prepares food according to production guidelines and recipes
    • Knowledge of food product, identification, and acceptable level of food quality
    • Ensures food is stored at the appropriate temperature for the appropriate length of time and follows all food safety standards
    • Completes daily temperature logs
    • Must know methods of food preparation, cooking times, and portion sizes to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner
    • Evaluates food quality and preparedness by tasting
    • Cuts, trims, bones, and carves meats and poultry for cooking
    • Responsible for using correct portions when cutting, preparing, and serving items
    • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils

    Additional Job Functions:

    • Assists in other areas as needed
    • Adheres to weekly/monthly cleaning schedules as posted by management
    • Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
    • Excellent customer service
    • Minimum 1½ years experience in the food service industry as a cook
    • The ability to safely operate all kitchen equipment
    • The ability to read and follow recipes

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Serve Safe Certified
    • High School Education or equivalent
    • More than 3 years experience in the food service industry as a cook

    Work Environment: Back-of-house. Requires frequent lifting/transporting hot food items, ability to work inside kitchen area, interact with heated equipment, steam, and other at risk conditions. Involves repetitive motion.

    Position Summary:
    The purpose of this job is to help ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils, in a clean and sanitized condition. In addition, this job requires that the employee keep the dishwashing machine station, three compartment sink and related areas clean.

    Position Summary: Night Agents are responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift. Night Agents must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. They must also be able to problem solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to emergency situations.
     
    Essential Functions: Check in and check out functions. Guest orientation of the local area and the Lodge facilities.Preparation and hand out of name tags, parking passes, and other orientation information.Proper telephone service techniques and reservation system operation.Handling of guest mail, messages, and special deliveries.Coordinate reservations for guest transportation.Full understanding and utilization of the property management system. Familiarization with night audit functions. Assist all guests in any way possible. Maintain a limited supply of sundries. Notification and processing of an express check out process.

    • Empowered to make decisions that directly effect the guest’s experience in a positive fashion
    • After training, must display a working knowledge of emergency procedures so that employee and guest safety will be insured.
    • Utilizes the radio/paging internal communication system used throughout the facility.
    • Acts as the reservation attendant.
    • Assists in coordinating registration functions for all guests.
    • Daily front desk checklist tasks that include:
    • Maintains adequate change bank to support the guest service needs.
    • Reconciles disputed guest charges.
    • Provides explanation for paid outs, miscellaneous charges, and allowances (must have the approval of the supervisor on duty).
    • Participates in Quality Assurance Programs that include daily inspections and reviews to address areas in need of improvement.
    • Assists with storing and inventorying of supplies necessary to perform daily operations.
    • Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
    • Report to work on time and in complete uniform

    Job Summary:  Responsible for welcoming guests and staff in an effective and courteous manner.  Directly participates in operating a traditional 24-hour, seven days a week, hotel-style front desk and concierge operation.  Answers external and internal telephone calls taking and delivering messages as needed.  Provides guest services at the center so each staff member and guest experiences a positive impression of the facility.

    • The Front Desk will be staffed to provide services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The  Concierge Desk is to be staffed whenever a course is in session.
    • After training, must display a working knowledge of policies and emergency procedures so that employee and guest safety will be insured.
    • Utilizes the radio/paging internal communication system used throughout the facility.
    • Utilizes the PBX System.
    • Assists in coordinating registration functions for all guests.
    • Daily front desk and concierge’s desk checklist tasks that include:

             a)      Check in and check out functions

             b)      Guest orientation of the local area and the conference center facilities

             c)      Proper telephone service technique and PBX operation

             d)      Handling of guest mail, messages and special deliveries

             e)      Coordinating reservations for guest transportation

             f)       Full understanding and utilization of the property management system

            g)       Familiarization with night audit function

            h)       Assisting all guests in any way possible

             i)       Maintaining a limited supply of sundries

             j)       Issuing and monitoring safe deposit boxes

             k)      Assisting guest with any of their meeting room needs.

              l)      Assisting Guests with non-meeting related travel needs.

             m)     Forwarding guest suggestion or concerns to the proper Manager.

              n)     Daily checks of Gift Shop, stocking if necessary. 

    • Maintains adequate change bank to support the guest service needs.
    • Communicates closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
    • Responsible for handling sales of the gift shop items, and accepting payments for purchases from guests or employees.
    • Closes out shift cash reports and perform cash depositing into safe.
    • Performs any and all other duties assigned by management.
    • Operating a computer, fax machine, and copy machine.

    Qualifications:

    • One year experience as a Guest Service Agent or experience in a comparable service position.
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Must have the availability to work flexible hours (weekends) based on the occupancy demands of the center. 
    • Can read, understand, and clearly speak English

    Position Summary: The Housekeeping Utility Worker serves a variety of essential roles which include quality room cleaning, linen and supply deliveries, restocking utility closets, deep cleaning the lobby and pool floors, operating cleaning equipment along with other miscellaneous duties. Utility Workers are required to maintain a safe sanitary work environment. Utility Workers are also required to gain an extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for housekeeping equipment including but not limited to floor scrubbers, utility carts, vacuums, pool tile cleaner, and other cleaning equipment.
     
    Essential Functions:

    • Ensure a clean, safe and pleasant atmosphere is maintained in the lodge at all times
    • Perform any opening and closing side work as required
    • Maintain utility closets and storage areas and ensure they are kept clean
    • Ensure at all times that safety guidelines and company quality standards are adhered to
    • Maintain positive attitude in high stress situations
    • Operate floor scrubber machine – set-up, load, run and clean once process is complete
    • Maintain vacuum machine cleanliness – ensure filters and containers are frequently emptied
    • Place clean linens and supplies on correct shelves ready to be used again
    • Keep lobby floors swept and mopped at all times
    • Empty all trash bags and keep trash dumpster areas clean
    • Utility Workers may be required to work the evening cleaning vending areas, cleaning equipment, and organizing utility closets
    • Report any safety hazards or unsafe conditions and practices to manager immediately
    • Report to work in proper uniform
    • Must be flexible and willing to work a varied schedule
    • Must be well groomed and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
    • Report to work on time and in complete uniform
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Reports to The Housekeeping Supervisor or Director of Quality Assurance
    • Must be able to work independently and finish tasks in a timely manner

    Our Leisure group within SLC specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions.

    The scope of our operations includes operating lodging, conference and meeting space, houseboats and other marine activities, retail merchandise shops, fine dining restaurants, and interpretive tours in some of this country's most pristine protected lands and national parks.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    The Front Desk Manager is responsible for the work that is carried out by the Front Desk and reservations. Coordinates front office guest services at the conference center so that staff members and guest experiences a positive impression of the facility.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and clients
    • Supervise and monitor team members to ensure a high level of guest service is delivered at all times.  Empower staff to answer questions and make appropriate decisions.
    • Develop and be accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt.
    • Maintain the highest level of Customer Service and Professionalism by understanding all aspects of customer service and hospitality.
    • Directly participate and support all Operations of the Front Office areas.
    • Maintain budget guidelines as set forth by immedicate Supervisor, Controller, or General Manager and establish and track cost savings wherever possible.
    • On a daily basis, review all Pass-On, Checklists and Night Audit information and conduct any necessary follow-up.
    • Meet with the Office team to review issues, disseminate information and formulate a plan of action each week.
    • Maintain constant knowledge of current and future functions and events.
    • Respond to all requests and takes ownership of all issues, ensuring proper outcomes and solutions.
    • Resolve guest, client and staff issues with efficiency and diplomacy.
    • Responsible for clear and timely communications relative to all Front Office Operations.
    • Responsible for coordinating in Property Management System all Out of Order Rooms, Special Requests, Room Blocks and Guest Profiles.
    • Prepare all Staff Schedules: minimizing overtime hours, honoring schedule restrictions, Time off Requests, and business demands.
    • Responsible for submitting accurate Payroll Records.
    • Handle all discipline issues within the department, prepare documentation and meet with employees.
    • Ensure departmental projects are completed in a timely manner.
    • Ensure all employees are in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth in the employee handbook.
    • Recruit and train all front desk personnel
    • Oversee all front desk operations.
       

    Qualifications:

    • Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in hospitality field preferred.
    • Further courses in guest services preferred.
    • A strong knowledge of personal computers is essential.
    • Three years in hospitality services or like environment performing like duties as an Assistant Front Office Manager.
    • Two years management experience.
    • Experience in all facets of providing guest services.
    • Must be able to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with others.
    • Strong organizational abilities are essential.
    • Commitment to the mission of the conference center.
