    Line Cooks prepare and cook food using fryers, ovens, stoves, grills, flat tops, salad (cold) stations, and other kitchen equipment; strive to exceed customer expectations, follow recipes, prep and monitor level of food items, clean and sanitize work stations, prepare food items as ordered by guests, clean kitchens, wash dishes, and other duties as assigned. We are looking for applicants who are reliable, punctual, can follow safe food handling procedures, can multi-task while providing exceptional customer service, and who enjoy working in a fast paced kitchen environment.

    Environment: This is an indoor position which includes working in a hot kitchen. Must be able to stand for entire shift and regularly lift/carry 75lbs.

  • Golf Outside Service Attendants

    Experience life at 8,500′ on our par 72, 6,653 yard, 18-hole golf course surrounded by the majestic southern Rocky Mountains in Angel Fire, New Mexico. The front nine incorporates a longer-playing layout that meanders through two unspoiled canyons of aspen, spruce, and pine, while the back nine offers links-style play with smaller greens and plenty of bunkers. The signature hole, #6, places the golfer on the tee box 200 vertical feet above the green, 239 yards away, surrounded by groves of aspen trees and towering pine.

    This position includes greeting members and customers, loading golf bags on and off the carts, washing golf clubs, issuing rental golf carts to customers, picking up golf balls on the driving range, maintaining golf carts by washing, fueling, and inspecting for maintenance needs, and representing the resort as a whole.

    Applicants must possess strong customer service skills, be able to communicate effectively, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment.

    Environment: This is a primarily outside position which includes driving Golf Carts within the Country Club area.

    Experience: Prior golf experience along with a passion for the game of golf is a plus. Successful customer service experience is required.

    Minimum Age: 16 years old

    A typical shift: Starts between 6:30am and 7:30am and ends between 2:00pm and 3:00 depending on business levels and weather conditions.

  • Downhill Mountain Biking Instructor – Training Provided

    This position is responsible for teaching downhill mountain biking lessons to guests of the Angel Fire Bike Park and may also entail some duties in the Bike Shop.

    Applicants must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for downhill mountain biking at Angel Fire Resort and be able to provide exceptional guest service at all times, work well under pressure, follow strict policies and procedures, work as a team, and help foster a positive, fun, and safe work environment.

    Environment: This is a physically demanding, outdoor position and applicants can expect to work in variable summer weather conditions.

    Qualifications: Must be able to ride a downhill mountain bike proficiently, maintaining control in all conditions and on all runs. Teaching experience and Level 1 instructor certification are a plus.

  • Bike Patrol Manager

    This position directly supervises 2-6 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; scheduling, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and fostering exemplary guest service.

    Essential duties include but are not limited to:

    • Assists the Bike Park Director in ensuring that patrollers follow all policies and procedures established by Angel Fire Resort, Medical Control Director, National Ski Patrol and New Mexico State Emergency Medical Services Bureau when providing medical care to sick and injured guests.
    • Maintains inventory of on-mountain medical supplies and operating supplies.
    • Assists Event Director during events by coordinating medical staffing, transportation of event staff, assigning staff their duties and areas of responsibility, and distribution of radios and means of communication for special events.
    • Completes Accident Investigations as required by Risk Management and trains patrollers on their areas of responsibility for Accident Investigations.
    • Ensures Incident Report Forms and Accident Investigations are completed accurately and stored properly.
    • Performs duties of Incident Commander to enable effective and efficient incident management by coordinating a combination of equipment, personnel, procedures, and communications.
    • Directs dispatcher to assign patrollers to respond to incidents, crowd control, and trail closures.
    • Determines mechanism of injury or nature of illness to initiate first aid procedures, request any needed additional assistance, basing decisions on examination of patient(s), statements of persons involved, and knowledge of emergency medical practice.
    • Administers appropriate first aid treatment at site of emergency, or in specially equipped vehicle, performing such activities as application of splints, spinal immobilization, administration of oxygen, treatment of minor wounds or abrasions, or administration of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
    • Transports or assists in the transport of patient(s) from scene of accident.
    • Supervises and documents training for the use of chainsaws, hand tools and power tools.
    • Coordinates, supervises, and inspects the installation of proper trail signage in visible areas that best support user’s ability to navigate the mountain.
    • Supervises and coordinates inspections of trail dexterity for loose rock, unstable terrain, proper drainage and any other trail hazards.
    • Supervises and coordinates the inspections of bridges and features.

    Who are we looking for?

    • Skilled machine operators with experience running excavators, skid steers, dozers, etc
    • Understanding gravity-fed mountain bike trail layout, erosion mitigation, durability construction
    • Experience with creating new machine-benched trail with quality jumps, berms and features
    • Knowing what type of rider the trail is being constructed for i.e. greens, blues, blacks skill levels
    • Having a keen eye for trail safety mitigation on all trails and features construction (creating safe trails for all skill levels)

    Environment: This is a physically demanding outside position which includes working long hours in variable summer weather conditions including hot sun, rain, wind, etc. Must be able to hike throughout the day, ride all zip lines, perform rescue operations, and regular lift/carry 50lbs.

    Experience: Customer service experience is required. Prior experience in rock climbing, challenge course facilitation, rope management, or zip line operations is a plus.

    Our Golf Maintenance personnel are responsible for maintaining the grounds and turf of the golf course by mowing the grass, maintaining sand traps and water features, operating various landscaping tools and equipment, applying fertilizer to the grass, maintaining the golf course signage, laying sod, planting trees and shrubs, and maintaining the supplies, equipment, and facilities to a high standard.

    We are looking for applicants who can provide exceptional customer service to the golf course patrons by maintaining and caring for the grounds at a consistently high standard. Applicants must be reliable, punctual, work well under pressure, follow strict policies and procedures, work as a team, and help foster a positive, fun, and safe working environment.

    Environment: This is an outdoor position and applicants can expect to work long hours in variable summer weather conditions.

    • Accepts and processes rental reservations over the phone as needed.
    • Maintains knowledge of products and services available for sale.
    • Understands and communicates features advantages and benefits of products.
    • Actively promotes sales and add-on sales with each store guest.
    • Keeps daily balance sheet of cash received and items sold.
    • Counts money at the end of each shift and takes money to the cash office.
    • Stocks retail items.
    • Checks in bike equipment as necessary.
    • Maintains cleanliness of the shop and proper storage of all inventory and retail items.

    • Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential.
    • Successful customer service experience and POS software computing skills are required.
