For the winter season we are hiring for Ski/Snowboard Instructors, Lift Operators, Rental Techs, Cashiers, Cooks, Servers, Housekeepers, Ski Patrol, and more!

In the summer we also hire for Zip Line Guides, Landscapers, Golf Services, and more! Most summer jobs start in late May. 

Check out our website for a complete listing of open positions for the season you are interested in. We are currently accepting applications for the 2018/2019 winter season! Most winter jobs will start in early December. 

  • Cashier – SlopeSide Retail and Rental

    Winter Ticket Office
    Angel Fire, New Mexico

    Cashiers are responsible for selling rental packages and retail items to customers, this includes cash handling, operating a Point of Sales system, maintaining retail inventory, providing customers with resort information, answering guest questions, and resolving issues. Applicants must possess strong customer services skills, be able to communicate effectively and be able to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment.

    Environment: This is an indoor position. Must be able to stand, sit, and talk for long periods of time, and regularly lift/carry 40lbs.

    Experience: Cash handling and customer service experience are required.

    Minimum Age: 18 years old

    Estimated Start Date: Mid-December

    Seasonal position: A Full-time position is available.

    Pay: Ranges from $9-$11 per hour depending on experience

    A typical shift: Starts around 8:00am and ends around 4:00pm

  • Cook

    Food and Beverage

    Line Cooks prepare and cook food using fryers, ovens, stoves, grills, flat tops, salad (cold) stations, and other kitchen equipment; strive to exceed customer expectations, follow recipes, prep and monitor level of food items, clean and sanitize work stations, prepare food items as ordered by guests, clean kitchens, wash dishes, and other duties as assigned. We are looking for applicants who are reliable, punctual, can follow safe food handling procedures, can multi-task while providing exceptional customer service, and who enjoy working in a fast paced kitchen environment.

    Environment: This is an indoor position which includes working in a hot kitchen. Must be able to stand for entire shift and regularly lift/carry 75lbs.  

    Qualifications: Experience as a cook is an advantage but not essential.

    Minimum Age: 18 years old

    Estimated Start Date: Early-December

    Seasonal position: Full-time, part-time and very part-time (holidays only) positions are available.

    Pay: Ranges from $9.00-$12.00 per hour depending on experience

  • Ski/Snowboard Instructor

    Ski School
    Angel Fire, New Mexico

    Our ski school is “instructor-centered”, everyone works with adults and children and teaches both group and private lessons We know that happy, motivated employees make happy successful guests. It really is just that simple. We are hiring for all levels of certified and uncertified ski, snowboard, and Nordic instructors as well as Children’s Specialists. Training opportunities are available all season long. We are looking for applicants who can provide exceptional guest service at all times, work well under pressure, follow strict policies and procedures, work as a team, and help foster a positive, fun, and safe work environment.

    Environment: This is a physically demanding, outdoor position and applicants can expect to work long hours in variable winter weather conditions. Must be able to regularly carry/lift 75lbs. 

    Qualifications: Must be able to ski/snowboard at least an intermediate level.

    Minimum Age: 16 years old

    Estimated Start Date: Early December

    Seasonal position: Full-time, part-time and very part-time (holidays only) positions are available.

    Pay: Base pay ranges from $10.00-$19.00 per hour depending on certifications and experience. Only paid when teaching. Free lunch is provided.

    Other: A ski jacket will be provided as part of the uniform. Must provide own equipment and black snow pants. Orange, black, grey, or white long sleeve shirts are to be worn under the uniform (no t-shirts or other colors).
