    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Denali Backcountry Adventures. As a Park Road Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting guests and providing a high quality of service at all times. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities such as:

    • Provide accurate interpreted natural and cultural history narratives of the Denali National Park experience
    • Implement operational processes which support and control the transportation system, such as vehicle maintenance, dispatching and regulatory administration
    • Transport guests to and from Denali Backcountry Lodge, Denali Cabins, Denali Train Depot and other properties as assigned
    • Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants and accessories
    • Maintain a shift / trip driving documentation log

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in guiding or interpretive presentations viewed advantageously
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills
    • Ability to move and lift supplies, equipment and tools weighing 50 pounds or  more
    • Must possess a Class “B” CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements
    • Two years of prior commercial driving experience with a clean driving record
    • Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
    • Current CPR and First Aid certifications

    Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Denali Backcountry Lodge. As a Server, you will greet and serve guests promptly, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-house duties and collecting the bill. Working as a team player is essential to communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure that orders are accurate and delivered promptly. Your main responsibility will be to provide excellent overall dining experience for our guests. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities such as:

    • Set up wait stations and kitchen service areas for the shift
    • Understand and verbally present the specials of the day
    • Conduct proper alcohol serving procedures according to liquor laws
    • Communicate guest dietary restrictions or allergies to kitchen staff
    • Deliver checks and collect bill payment
    • Meet with kitchen staff to review daily specials, changes to the menu and service specifications for reservations or large parties

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    • Communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must be 21+ of age
    • Proven work experience as a Server
    • Hands-on experience with cash register and Point of Sale system
    • Basic math skills
    • Attentiveness, patience, and presentation skills
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Denali Backcountry Lodge. Naturalists at the Denali Backcountry Lodge lead hikes through Kantishna, the backcountry of Denali National Park. As a Naturalist, you will conduct guest activities and provide accurate and enthusiastic interpretations of the natural and cultural history relate to Denali National Park. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities to include:

    • Provide natural and cultural history information to Lodge guests; hikes vary from casual, moderate and challenging
    • Transport guests to trailheads on private and National Park Service lands
    • Develop and present educational programs
    • Maintain fishing gear and waders and sell fishing licenses to guests

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
    • Knowledge and experience of common hiking, camping and outdoors
    • Ability to bend, lift, climb stairs and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Current First Aid and CPR Certification required
    • Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certificate required
    • Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) preferred

    WHAT ARE THE WORK DATES?

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Denali Cabins. As Bartender, you will be responsible for all bar operations and provide excellent service to all guests. Using a wide knowledge of mixed drinks and alcohols, you will promptly prepare drink orders and serve the guest. You will have a range of duties and responsibilities such as:

    • Promptly greet and welcome guests and provide a beverage menu
    • Execute bar set up and closing procedures
    • Conduct proper alcohol serving procedures according to the liquor laws
    • Make recommendations and answer all related guest inquiries
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes
    • Monitor and track inventory

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    • Communication and interpersonal skills
    • High energy and friendly attitude
    • 2 years bartending experience preferred
    • Knowledge of proper and up-to-date food handling and health standards
    • Knowledge of proper and up-to-date liquor procedures
    • Familiarity with Point of Sale systems
    • Ability to safely and frequently lift 50 pounds

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Denali Cabins. As a Room Attendant, you will provide comfort to our guests by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and inviting. You will work with team members within your department and others to complete the following tasks:

    • Clean all rooms and other areas assigned to you
    • Respond quickly to guest requests with accommodations that may enhance their experiences with the lodge
    • Ensure privacy and confidentiality for lodge guests
    • Address questions and concerns and report identified maintenance issues to supervisor

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
    • Positive and willing to participate on a team and work with a winning attitude
    • Flexible and dependable
    • Ability to bend, lift, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds
    • Previous housekeeping experience will be viewed advantageously
