About 320 Guest Ranch

One of the things that makes the 320 Ranch stand out among other guest ranches is the staff’s friendly, professional, down-home hospitality combined with the warm and historic atmosphere of our classic Western ranch.

We offer 58 modern and comfortable cabin accommodations, ranch activities, and wireless internet.  Our ranch is open and staffing year round.

Our authentic Saloon offers relaxation in the after-hours, pool games and more, and our on site restaurant, McGill's, features superb wild game specialties of the house prepared by our Chef.  Activities abound with Yellowstone National Park and whitewater rafting just 10 miles down the road, and trail rides, hiking, biking & fly fishing access on the ranch.  In the winter, our ranch offers Sleigh Rides and is only about 35 minutes to the Big Sky ski resort!  There are lots of outfitters in the area for snowmobile rides and cross country skiing too!

The Employee Experience

Because most of our staff lives and works on the property lifetime friendships are often formed. The work can be hard and long but we are all rowing the same boat to provide our guests with an amazing experience. We also understand that our employees come to Montana to enjoy all that we have to offer so we try to offer limited overtime and be fair with days off so our staff can get out and enjoy all the amazing things this state has to offer!

Ideal Candidate

If you are looking for an amazing  job experience in the mountains of Montana, and are self motivated with a strong dedication to honesty, integrity, flexibility, and consideration, we would be very interested in reviewing your application.

Room and Board

Dormitory style housing is available along with some meals.  Housing and Meals are provided for a small amount each pay period.

Each Bunkhouse has its own community kitchen and living room.  Wranglers share a cookhouse.

Sorry, we do not have housing for families, children, or pets.

The employee housing is smoke free, no smoking allowed in any of the buildings.

Employee Perks

Enjoy the advantages of a guest ranch operation with every day bringing something new and different.  If you like people and the outdoors, are looking for the experience of a lifetime, enjoy making new friends, and are not afraid of hard work, then you'll love spending time with us in Montana. You can make full use of the ranch facilities including horse back riding, fishing and hiking on your day off and get to spend a season (or longer!) in the great outdoors.

Some meals are provided and an employee discount can be utilized at our restaurant and gift shop as well.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Due to the ranch being somewhat isolated, many of our staff will drive to the ranch.  If you choose to fly in, the Yellowstone International Airport at Gallatin Field in Bozeman, Montana is the closest airport (56 miles).  Please let us know ahead of time that you are flying and we will have transportation scheduled to pick you up.  If you decide not to have wheels, usually you can hitch a ride with a fellow teammate who is going to town.

For Fun

In the Summer - you have access to countless attractions such as sightseeing in our country’s first National Park – Yellowstone.  On ranch, we offer horseback riding, blue ribbon trout fishing, and hiking.  In the area, our staff enjoys ATV rides, whitewater rafting, ziplining, river floating, and more!

In the Winter - the ranch offers Sleigh Ride Appetizer rides.  In the area, our staff enjoys cross country skiing on trails, snow mobiles , skiing at Big Sky Ski resort, and world class fly fishing.
