    Maintenance

    Maintenance/Facilities/Handyman

    $18.00 - $22.00 / hour
    Clark

Our maintenance team members work on a variety of tasks/projects throughout the season and off-season. It is a small team and there are many times team members are working autonomously. We rely on our maintenance team for all basic maintenance and upkeep around the property and they often have larger projects they are working on as well (especially during the off season). Experience in maintenance/construction work is highly preferred, but we are willing to teach specific skills- it is our priority to build a team of individuals who are coachable, have a strong work ethic, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and are able/willing to learn new skills quickly and execute them effectively.

Staff member benefits include free on-site community-style housing, an hourly wage paid out bi-weekly, one free meal daily, and free and discounted activities.

    Barn- Summer

    Wrangler

    $15.00 / hour + tips
    Clark

Our wrangler team combine horsemanship with hospitality, teaching and leading trail rides through the beautiful nearby Steamboat Lake State Park and Routt National Forest. Wranglers must demonstrate basic horsemanship skills both on the ground and in the saddle, proper care for our herd of approximately 20 horses, and a genuine care for guests, able to facilitate safe and compelling experiences for (mostly) beginner riders.

Staff member benefits include free on-site community-style housing (motel room, 2-3 staff members per room), an hourly wage paid out bi-weekly, possession of individual tips received from guests for guided trips and shuttle drives, one free meal daily, and free and discounted activities.

    Kitchen

    Line Cook

    $17.00 - $20.00 / hour
    Clark

Our Line Cooks work a variety of stations in the kitchen, including grill, saute, fry, pizza, salads, prep, and dishes. We are team and everyone pitches in to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the kitchen. Depending on skill and experience, there may be opportunities to help develop menu specials and staff meals. We are looking for people with a team-oriented, growth mindset, looking to expand their skills in a beautiful location!

Staff member benefits include free on-site community-style housing (motel room, 2-3 staff members per room), an hourly wage paid out bi-weekly, one free meal daily, and free and discounted activities.

    Restaurant

    Server/Barista

    $12.00 / hour + tips
    Clark

Our server/baristas work as a team- everyone should expect to jump in and help in all areas of the restaurant, taking orders, pouring drinks, running food, bussing tables, and chatting with guests. Whatever you are tasked with, at the end of the day, every member of the team is an invaluable part of the experience and we all work together to create an experience for our guests that will make them want to keep coming back again and again.

Staff member benefits include free on-site community-style housing (motel room, 2-3 staff members per room), an hourly wage and equitable share of the tip pool paid out bi-weekly, one free meal daily, and free and discounted activities.

    Barn

    Head Wrangler

    $18.00 - $21.00 / hour + tips
    Clark

The Head Wrangler is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the SLO horse program and for leading the team of wranglers, ensuring the department functions effectively to support the big picture of SLO operations. The role also includes strategizing and planning toward the growth of the program, decision-making, and leading the charge with follow through, implementation, and accountability. This position is full-time (40+ hours/week average, seasonally varies) and reports to the General Manager of SLO.

Ideally, we would like a minimum one-year commitment for this position as we operate in both summer and winter. Winter wrangling consists almost entirely of driving the team for sleigh rides (no trail rides).

Compensation package includes on-site housing, an hourly wage paid out bi-weekly, possession of individual tips received for guided trips/shuttle drives, one free meal daily, and free and discounted activities. Benefits may include paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance and a 401K (eligible for matching up to 4% after 1 year and 1000 hours with the company).
