POSITION FILLED - Hospitality/Housekeeping Lead - POSITION FILLED
32-35 hours per week.
The primary purpose and function of this position is to train, lead, and support the other hospitality staff members as a team in providing a variety of hospitality and housekeeping services for the full Shadowcliff campus and our guests, paying close attention to health and safety policies and procedures, modeling expected practices, and providing quality control oversight. The Hospitality/Housekeeping Lead will meet with the GM regularly to review progress and plan for guests’ needs.

Kitchen Lead Cook
This Position is eligible for a $500. bonus for completion of the season, see details below.
The primary purpose and function of this position is to perform the operations of Shadowcliff’s Compassionate Kitchen in a manner consistent with our principles of hospitality, sustainability and providing nutrient dense, vegetable-forward, whole foods. The Kitchen Lead Cook prepares food for groups of varying size and duration as well as special events throughout the season. The Kitchen Lead Cook will work with GM to plan menus, and prepare meals for groups as well as for staff. The Lead cook will guide kitchen assistants, rotating hospitality assistants, and volunteers in group meal preparation, service, and clean-up. Shadowcliff’s commitment is to provide consistently nutritious, high quality food, in a timely manner, according to the schedules set by the GM with each group. In addition, the lead cook will work with GM to order needed items, as well as keep a shopping list that ensures we have all needed items to prepare the menu.

Maintenance/Groundskeeper Lead
The primary purpose and function of this position is to serve as the day to day facilities and maintenance person, and groundskeeper for the Shadowcliff campus. The responsibilities include proactive and preventive maintenance upkeep, grounds upkeep, timely repairs, progress updates, overseeing special projects as assigned, completing the opening and closing lists for campus, and routine communication with the GM to share progress and make plans. POSITION FILLED - Guest Services Assistants - POSITION FILLED
30 - 32 hours a week. The primary purpose and function of this position is to perform the operations of the front office, working a variable schedule of day and evening shifts (9 - 3 or 3 - 9). Responsibilities include working with a diverse group of people, having knowledge of Shadowcliff’s lodging options, pricing, policies, etc., answering the phone, managing the reservation system, responding to emails, completing laundry, (washing, folding and bundling), other office related and administrative tasks, daily housekeeping in and around the front office area/lounge/guest kitchen, and participating in kitchen clean-up rotation.

POSITION FILLED - Kitchen Assistant - POSITION FILLED
30 - 32 hours a week. The primary purpose and function of this position is to assist and support the Kitchen Lead Cook in operating Shadowcliff’s Compassionate Kitchen in a manner consistent with our principles of sustainability and hospitality. The Kitchen Assistant will support food groups of varying size and duration as well as special events during the peak period of mid-June through mid-Sept and also prepare a set number of staff meals to be determined by the Kitchen Lead Cook and the General Manager.

POSITION FILLED - Hospitality Assistants - POSITION FILLED
30 - 32 hours a week.
Shadowcliff's Hospitality Staff are responsible for working as a team to provide a variety of services, primarily housekeeping, with periodic kitchen assistance, and special projects for the full Shadowcliff campus and our guests, with close attention to health and safety policies and procedures. Under the guidance of the Hospitality Lead, workers will provide detailed and conscientious demonstration of duties includes housekeeping/cleaning in accordance with protocols, assisting the Front Office with hospitality laundry if housekeeping is complete, assisting the Kitchen Lead Cook and Kitchen assistant with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen clean-up, as required, and assisting the Maintenance - Groundskeeper with special projects for Shadowcliff's facilities and grounds as schedule permits. (no experience required).
