Red Lodge Mountain begins hiring for the winter season in mid-August.  Our all employee orientation is held mid-November and the season runs the day after Thanksgiving to mid-April.

We begin hiring for the summer season in March. Positions at the golf course run May-September.

    Job Summary: Serve as the “command/information center” at Red Lodge Mountain.  Answer & direct phone calls, respond to emails, distribute information, and assist guests and employees.  Will work closely with and assist the HR Department.

    Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

    • Greet guests, visitors, and employees in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner, and redirect their inquiries appropriately.
    • Professionally administer all incoming calls and ensure calls are redirected appropriately.
    • Update a recorded snow phone, the RLM website, and snow reporting websites daily and as conditions change.
    • Compile and interpret data to make a clear interpretation of snow and weather conditions.
    • Assist employees with paperwork, perks/benefits, time badges, nametags, and uniforms.
    • Oversee the safety responsibilities for the Administrative office.
    • Sort and deliver mail to employees.
    • Order, receive, stock, and distribute office supplies.
    • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of mail services (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
    • Prepare memos, correspondence, reports, announcements, and other documents.
    • Fill in for other departments as necessary (tickets, rentals, retail, food and beverage).

    Job Summary: Audit daily cash deposits, prepare cash receipt entries and complete daily deposit for entire resort.  Maintain cash on hand and ensure all departments have adequate change at all times.  Assist accounting manager with daily duties including cash handling, receivables, payables, audits and filing

    • Ensure customers and employees are treated courteously, safely and efficiently.
    • Assist the audit department with deposits, change runs and audits.

    Job Summary: Responsible for janitorial duties in and around the companies’ public facilities.

    Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned:

    • Clean all RLM facilities, including the base area and those on the mountain.

    • Efficiently clean and stock all bathrooms in all facilities throughout the day.

    • Assist with snow removal, including shoveling and snow blowing.

    • Assist other departments with cleaning/maintenance issues.

    • Empty and transport garbage and recycling.

    • Effectively communicate with other employees both in person and via telephone/two-way radio.

    • May be transported to various facilities via snowmobile, chair lift, or snow grooming machines.

    • Clean and maintain base area buildings prior to and after the resort has closed.
    • Assist with snow removal around base area with the use of snow shovels and snow blower equipment.
    • Effectively clean and stock all bathrooms in all facilities.
    • Work without supervision in an efficient manner.
    • Remove trash & recycling from receptacles and hauling of bags to dumpsters as needed.
    • Effectively communicate with other employees both in person and via telephone/two-way radio.

    · Ensure success of RLM events, weddings, banquets, and golf tournaments.

    · Work with Human Resources to interview, hire, train, and appraise performance of employees.
