Our Jobs

Our season runs from around May 19th to mid-September. We have some flexibility with dates but preference is given to applicants that can work the full season. 

Western attire must be worn by all employees when interacting with guests.

  • Head Wrangler

    The Head Wrangler oversees and motivates a team of 6 wranglers to ensure the safety and well-being of the ranch animals and our guests. This includes the implementation of our horse safety program, maintaining equipment and tack, maintenance and cleanliness of the corrals, petting zoo, tack rooms, ranch vehicles and fencing. Responsible for guest relations as they pertain to the riding program. This includes the assignment of horses to guests based on information provided in the guests riding form, presentation of our safety demonstration, coordinating the riding groups and speaking to guests prior to each scheduled ride. Additionally the Head Wrangler has the same responsibilities as the rest of the wranglers. CPR and First Aid training is required. Prior experience is essential.

    Wranglers guide, teach and entertain guests while ensuring their safety and well-being on the trail. Other tasks include maintaining equipment and tack, maintenance and cleanliness of the corrals, petting zoo, tack rooms, ranch vehicles and fencing. A willingness and ability to learn and understand our horse safety program and riding program is required. Wranglers are also responsible for the care and safety of all ranch animals. The ability to lift 80 to 90 pound bales of hay is required. Other miscellaneous ranch jobs may include, children’s activities, kitchen duties, etc. Excellent people and communication skills, a willingness to work long hours and an ability to work as part of a team are critical attributes.     Lead a fly-fishing 101 clinic for guests one afternoon. Guide guests on half day and full day fishing trips. General maintenance and ranch upkeep including but not limited to maintaining and monitoring the pool and spa, irrigation work, fencing, painting, carpentry, chopping firewood, mowing lawn. Pitch in and help out as needed with other miscellaneous ranch jobs e.g.: children's activities, etc.
