Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Baker is responsible for producing high-quality baked goods to meet customer demands. The role involves mixing ingredients, preparing dough, baking pastries, and ensuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are met. The Baker also helps maintain and stock baking supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient baking process.
Prepare and mix dough, batters, and fillings for various baked goods, following recipes and quality standards.
Bake and decorate pastries, such as cakes, cookies, bread, and muffins, ensuring they are visually appealing and of consistent quality.
Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed to ensure baked goods are baked to perfection.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies, such as flour, sugar, and other ingredients, and order replacements as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the baking process.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of baked goods to customers.
Follow established portion sizes and presentation standards for baked goods.

Duties:
Follow recipes and build charts to prepare pizzas according to the restaurant’s standards.
Prepare pizza toppings, sauces, and other ingredients prior to service, ensuring they are ready for use and meet quality specifications.
Assist in ordering ingredients by maintaining a running inventory of items and keeping track of stock levels, including identifying items that are running low.
Contribute to the development of new pizza options and specials as directed by the chef, incorporating creativity and feedback.
Be attentive to orders, ensuring that pizzas are prepared to specification and communicated effectively with the retail operation to guarantee timely service to guests.
Clean and sanitize the pizza station, tools, and equipment during and after each use, as well as perform nightly cleaning duties.
Organize and maintain the pizza reach-ins, walk-ins, and dry storage areas to ensure proper food storage and accessibility.
Label, date, and rotate all ingredients using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure the proper use of products and minimize waste.

The Badlands Emporium Clerk supports the Retail Manager in the daily operation of the gift shop by delivering exceptional guest service and helping to drive sales through strong product knowledge and customer engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Delivering exceptional guest service: Warmly greet guests, answer questions, offer product recommendations, and ensure a positive, memorable experience.
Opening and closing the store on schedule, following all operational procedures.

JOB SUMMARY: To maintain, service, rebuild, troubleshoot, repair, and operate all cooking-related equipment and refrigeration as it pertains to continuous smooth operation. Including, but not limited to industrial Food and Beverage, General Store equipment, propane, and electrical equipment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose and repair industrial kitchen and bakery equipment including, but not limited to mixers, grills, ovens, fryers, etc. Determine, with input as needed, whether the problem can be resolved on location.
Diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment including, but not limited to coolers, freezers, ice machines, ice cream machines, and keg coolers. Assist with setting up and implementing procedures. Facilitate daily maintenance.
Diagnose and repair commercial propane and electric kitchen equipment including, but not limited to, fryers, steamers, and ovens such as pressure cookers, steam kettles, tilt skillets, commercial dish machines, combi-ovens, microwaves, stoves, and conveyor-type ovens, broilers and espresso machines. Assists in the cleanliness and organization of the work areas by assuring that all containers are labeled and stored according to MSDS and NFPA standards. Keep accurate records of all daily work products.
Obtain information that addresses or anticipates the equipment service needs of the venue. Select the appropriate actions to meet and exceed quality service levels for each venue.
Preventative maintenance and rehab of all kitchen equipment to required manufacturers' specifications.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily. This includes requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, fruit, and other necessary supplies based on a daily business projection. Working in a clean–as–you–go manner.
Greets member/guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote drink and food specials, and ensure the quality of drink recipes.
Accurate check processing in the point-of-sale system.

The essential duties and responsibilities for this position are:
Clearing all used tableware and napkins from tables to tubs in bus station. Wipe table, chairs, and clear debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding table.
Resets the tables in accordance with established standards in order to seat new customers as quickly as possible. Remove full tubs from bus stations to dishwashing area for cleaning, and maintain a clean, well-stocked and orderly bus station at all times in order to improve efficiency and productivity.
Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from the dish room and distribute to each service station in order to keep a ready supply available for restaurant use.
Sweep restaurant floors throughout shift to maintain a clean, presentable and attractive restaurant. Vacuum carpeting and mop hard floors at the end of each shift.
Retrieve clean linens from laundry department at beginning of shift and during shift when necessary, and folding as specified by established standards. Stocking correct par levels in the service stations. Deliver bundles of soiled linen to laundry room at end of each shift.
Retrieve items from stockroom, ensuring requisition is complete and correct. Stocking supplies in proper places, rotating stock at all times.
Assist wait staff by refilling customer’s beverages and accommodating requests for additional condiments, food items or clean/fresh tableware.
Keep ice stations filled at all times by carrying buckets of ice from the main ice machine and pouring into individual ice stations.
Keep a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
Checks all restrooms periodically, alerting the Housekeeping Department if they are not clean or in need of supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

The Host position is the first and last person our guest sees as they enter or exit our F&B locations. This is a high-energy role that greets our guests, handles reservations, and seats our customers in our F&B locations. Training possibilities for waitstaff positions while in this position are possible. Must be able to work varying shifts, including nights/holidays/weekends/double and split shifts.
Duties
Meets arriving customers as they enter the restaurant with a cordial greeting.

Elicits feedback from departing customers on products and services in order to improve the operation to increase customer base and maximize revenues. Takes written notes in order to report comments to management.
Maintains a clean and attractive restaurant by assisting with vacuuming, sweeping, general cleaning, and side work duties. Checks the proper set-up of tables and seating prior to opening.

Summary:
Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking and delivery of any food and/or beverage items. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness.
Record the details of the order from the guest, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy.
Input the order into the point of sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed.
When complete, retrieve order up to 30lbs. from the kitchen, confirm its accuracy, lift and deliver to guest along with appropriate condiments. Abide by State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
Market and serve upon request any dessert items or specialty coffees.
Present the check to guest promptly.
Regular Attendance in conformation with standards, which may be established by
Lajitas Golf Resort from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Support Functions:
Assist with the bussing help in clearing and resetting the tables.
Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.

Position Summary
The General Store Deli Retail Clerk plays an important role in both the deli and retail operations of the General Store. To give you a sense of our remote charm, we're approximately 200 miles from the nearest Walmart in Fort Stockton and 95 miles from the closest McDonald's or stoplight in Alpine. This seclusion is part of what makes Lajitas so special—no traffic, no city lights—just peaceful surroundings, tranquility, and some of the best stargazing you'll find anywhere.
While a vehicle is not essential for staying at the resort, since our housing is conveniently located near resort amenities, having a car is recommended for trips to Presidio (55 miles southwest) or Alpine (95 miles north) for major shopping or outings.
At Lajitas, the isolation is a part of the experience, offering a rare opportunity to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature's beauty.

Seeking candidates that are customer service oriented, works well in a team environment, and has a heart for hospitality. Must be able to work variable shifts, nights/holidays/weekends; able to stand for long periods of time, speak and write English fluently, and be computer literate. The front desk is our first and last impression of our resort to our guests and this position is responsible for that.
Please note: If you are applying for this position, we strongly encourage you to bring a vehicle. There is no public transportation to or from the area locally, bus/train stations are located in Alpine, TX (90 miles one direction from Lajitas) and the closest public airport is located in Midland/Odessa (300 miles one direction from Lajitas). We do not provide transportation to or from Lajitas as part of your employment.
We are seeking hospitality driven individuals that enjoy providing outstanding service for our guests. This position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, private homes, and offices on the entire resort property. Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; have reliable transportation, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ensures that a supply of clean linen is available for all operating departments.
Each day employee is required to wash, dry, and fold sheets and towels, bathmats, tablecloths, and napkins. Gathers dirty linen bags from various resort locations and transports them to the laundry room, sorts linens in preparation for laundering.
Starting hourly rate is $10-13.50/hour depending on experience.
This is an entry-level position on the Golf Course Team.
Duties:
Hand-raking sand traps
Tree trimming
Weed eating/edging/blowing
Other various tasks as it relates to maintaining the golf course at a high level.
Current work hours are from 6:30 am – 2:30 pm but are subject to change slightly throughout the year.
Lunch is provided
Rides are available back and forth from Ojinaga and Presidio daily. They are not provided by the Resort. These will need to be arranged by new employees and existing employees.
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for executing and performing all property grounds maintenance-related duties at the Maverick Ranch RV Park. This position requires the ability to perform a variety of routine and skilled landscaping, janitorial, and repair activities involving campground buildings, grounds, and equipment. This position works a varied schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
Comply with all RV Park operating policies & procedures.
Attend meetings and trainings as requested.
Perform various landscaping duties including but not limited to pruning, felling trees, hydroseeding, planting and watering trees, trimming grass, raking, dirt work, building retaining walls and tent pads, repairing/replacing fencing, improving drainages, installing signs, etc.
Perform various electrical and plumbing repairs when needed.
Maintain Pool and outside area.
Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and stocking restrooms and shower facilities, cleaning fire rings and campsites, litter pick-up, and general upkeep of the campgrounds.
Keep all restrooms clean on property.
Stock, order and receive supplies for RV Park facilities.
Maintain a positive and safe work environment.
Perform other duties/tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Possess high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Two (2) years prior maintenance experience or equivalent educational, training and work experience preferred.
Be able to work in a fast-paced, stress-filled environment.
Be able to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Have the ability to professionally write reports and correspondence.
Be able to use hand and power tools effectively in a safe and appropriate manner.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Be able to work outside in inclement weather and on uneven surfaces.
Physical Requirements:
Extensive physical activity required; regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or greater.

Work Environment:
Work in all kinds of weather conditions in mainly an outdoor environment, with exposure to weather, temperature extremes, and atmospheric conditions.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud and will be loud during certain assignments.
Exposed to chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers.
Frequently work near moving mechanical parts and/or heavy equipment, subject to electrical shock and vibration.
Use of campground maintenance equipment including tractors, mowers, skid steers, chainsaws, weed eaters, blowers, and various other related equipment.
Exposed to dirt, dust, grease, loud noises, foul odors, vibration, fumes, heights, work safety hazards, darkness, and cramped spaces.
Work will occur across uneven terrain, including hills, slopes, grades, and wetlands in both forested and open areas, which may present numerous slipping and tripping hazards and exposure to various forms of wildlife and their deposits.
Employment is contingent upon pre-employment background and drug test results.
