As the manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the hostel, including managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is excited about sustainable lodging, global exploration, and social experiences. The ideal candidate has previous experience in hospitality or hostel management and is comfortable leading a team.
Our hostel is located in the stunning mountain town of Big Bear Lake, providing the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and connect with nature. You'll be surrounded by breathtaking views and endless outdoor activities. We also operate ITH Coyote Ranch Coliving in the Joshua Tree desert where you will spend some nights when large groups book out the entire hostel.
The position includes a small private room with a single bed and a shared bathroom. The Private room entrance is located inside the 8 bed guest dorm. We also have a private yurt. You will have access to sleep in the private yurt 3-5 nights per week if the owners are not visiting the Hostel.
We have a company car to use while assisting with the management of the Hostel. Applicants with a US Drivers License are preferred.
This is a full-time position with seasonal opportunities. We're looking for someone who can commit to at least 6 months of employment, but ideally, we'd like someone who is interested in experiencing both the summer and winter season in Big Bear Lake.
