Job Title: Retail Associate Intern

Job Description:
As a Retail Associate Intern, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. You will assist customers with their inquiries, process transactions, and help maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. You will be expected to meet sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Requirements:
- Greet customers and assist with their inquiries, including finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point of sale or other software/hardware.
- Maintain a clean and organized store by performing tasks such as stocking shelves, straightening merchandise, and cleaning displays and surfaces.
- Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with inventory counts, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Meet or exceed sales goals by promoting and upselling products, as well as providing excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and supporting other team members as needed.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders to reach products or displays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working towards a college degree
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Comfortable with basic math and the use of electronic devices, such as cash registers and scanners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Education:
- High school education or equivalent is required
- Must be working towards a college degree in the Hospitality field or related
