Environmental Educators are creative individuals who are enthusiastic, hard-working and have a deep love for being outdoors!

At Fairview Lake, our Environmental Educators are responsible for teaching and leading different classes and activities that include: leading outdoor academic classes using a science-based curriculum, team-building, and recreational activities such as boating, archery, orienteering, and campfires. Kids from all over New Jersey and New York come to camp with their teachers to enhance their classroom learning, develop interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, and most importantly... have fun! 

You'll join a team of passionate folks who know that we're in the business of making memories and inspiring others. Each day will be different than the last, and there are plenty of educational and growth opportunities to inspire you! As part of our year-round outdoor program team, you'll be trained in many activity areas and have a large support system to help you perform your best. 

Housing is available in a small, dorm-style shared space. You'll have access to free wifi and a kitchen, and when we're serving meals in the dining hall, you're invited too - even on your days off! Our camp is located about an hour and a half from NYC, and about 20 minutes from restaurants and shopping. 

Positions are available for spring and fall seasonal work, but if you're interested in something more long-term, we'd love to hear from you too!
