    Cook

    Crater Lake
    • Prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers
    • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes and follow food safety and sanitation standards 
    • Execute opening and closing procedures
    • Complete all required food and safety logs


    Position Requirements:

    • Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
    • Strong communication skills
    • Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in close proximity to other people
    • Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting will be required


    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Experience: 2-3 years of restaurant experience preferred

    Food & Beverage

    Prep Cook

    Crater Lake

    A Prep Cook is responsible for preparing food items in accordance with Corporate recipes and established standards in the Company’s efforts to deliver extraordinary hospitality.
     

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Kitchen Manager and Lead Cook in ensuring that the menu, which cannot be changed without Corporate F&B approval, and guest service expectations, as set forth by the Employee Handbook are being met or exceeded.
    • Become a strong member of an efficient and highly motivated culinary team focused on surpassing expectations by presenting a positive, can-do attitude very day.
    • Complete all required food and safety logs in a timely and efficient manner per Company procedures and Federal, State, and Local regulations
    • Obtain ServSafe or State Food Handler Certification in accordance with F&B company policy
    • Comply with time and attendance policies and be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts as requested


    Position Requirements:

    Food & Beverage

    Server

    Crater Lake

    A Server is responsible for serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.


    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately take orders from guests, submit to kitchen using Point-of-Sales (POS) software, deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runner
    • Knowledge of restaurant and bar menu promotions and specials
    • In an honest and timely manner, prepare checks, process credit cards, accept and make accurate change for cash payments, prepare sales and tip reports at shift’s end, deposit cash and credit card receipts
    • Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedures
    • Provide timely, courteous service to all guests throughout the meal service


    Position Requirements:

    • Obtain ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company F&B policy
    • Excellent customer service and people skills
    • Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
    • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to count change and reconcile paperwork
    • Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people


    Education and Experience:

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Experience: Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment
    • Resort/National Park Concession preferred

    Human Resources

    Human Resources Specialist

    Crater Lake

    The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the human resources function as it relates to employee relations, legal compliance, workers compensation, health and safety, payroll, benefits and employee housing.


    Duties and Responsibilities                                                                               

    • Responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate employee records, files and reports according to company policy and upload as necessary in the HRIS.
    • Ensure that timecards are accurate and appropriately track & report meal and rest breaks, on a daily basis, as required by state laws.  Follow Company policy related to meal & rest breaks.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
    • Monitor job boards, evaluate, via pre-screen interviews for qualified candidates to screen and interview candidates.
    • Prepare, electronically, all new hire paperwork and conduct timely and consistent on-boarding.
    • Process payroll for all employees at location. 
    • Ensure all work comp claims are reported according to company policy and the Incident Reporting Process
    • Provide general support to GM and AGM related to HR function including assisting with employee documentation.

    Lodging

    Night Auditor

    Crater Lake

    Performing close of day scenarios for the Front Office while performing overnight front desk services. 
     

    Responsibilities:

    • Follow all specified procedures to audit the shift closing of all front office staff, including personally closing shift three and completing an audit summary of each shift.
    • Produce accurate and timely reports and correctly handle all cash transactions.
    • Balance and audit for accurate room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier’s reports, and guest and house accounts and telephone revenue, assisting the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues.
    • Act as Manager on Duty during overnight hours.
    • Perform all Front Desk Attendant functions as required including but not limited to; assist in room reservations, guest check in/out, answering hotel phone calls, and notifying guests of messages.
       

    Position Requirements:

    • This is an overnight position; employee must be able to work independently
    • Present a positive image of the company in an upbeat, professional manner
    • Ability to work a variety of night, weekend and holiday shifts
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact, in a positive way, with many different personality styles
    • Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Room Master system


    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred
    • Experience: Minimum 3 (three) years front desk/room registration experience required
    • 2 (two) years Night Auditor/Relief Night Auditor preferred National Park/Resort experience preferred

    Marina

    Marina Associate

    Crater Lake

    The Marina Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring dock safety at all times and maintaining the marina facility and equipment.


    Responsibilities                                                                                                     

    • Assist other Dockhands with securing boats to docks, monitoring power, water and phone services, facility sanitation and waste disposal as applicable
    • Clean, inspect and report on the condition of the rental fleet
    • Process and complete boat rentals and launch boats with a focus on safety
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and requests
    • Orient customers to proper safety procedures and provide accurate instructions related to life-safety devices
    • Operate boats and other equipment as requested in a safe and responsible manner
    • Inspect facilities for damage or hazardous conditions and prepare any work lists and orders as needed.
    • Maintain general security while reporting potential concerns to the Manager
    • Refuel boats as required adhering to all safety procedures
    • Perform routine maintenance on the facility and related equipment
    • Clean docks, walkways, equipment and all other areas of the facility 


    Requirements                                                                                    

    • Possess line handling skills including ability to tie various knots, toss and cleat lines
    • Possess unlimited ability to swim, and work safely around water or on ladders or in confined spaces
    • Possess upbeat and professional verbal communication skills
    • Must be organized and able to adhere to schedules
    • Willing to be cross-trained to support other departments when requested
    • Must represent the Company and Park in a professional manner by wearing a company uniform, name badge, etc.
    • Must be able to lift up to 25-30 pounds occasionally without assistance and up to 70 pounds with assistance
    • Must be able to effectively use a PC and radio and conduct operation monitoring
    • Must be able to bend, twist, squat and stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day


    Education and Experience:                                                                                   

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience: Minimum two (2) years customer service experience
    • Prior dockhand experience preferred

    Operations

    Shuttle Driver

    Crater Lake

    A Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting guests and/or employees between the Company’s properties and stop areas in a safe manner according to the Company Driver Agreement Policy.

    Responsibilities

    • Transport guests and/or employees between the Company’s properties and designated stop areas in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Provides highest level of customer service and give assistance if necessary.
    • Be knowledgeable and helpful to passengers and guests as to schedules and services.
    • Ensure vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe working condition, noting any issues to Manager; performs pre & post shift vehicle inspections.


    Requirements

    • Superior customer services skills, strong communication skills and a team player
    • Work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
    • Safety oriented paying attention to all traffic rules and Company Driver Agreement Policy.
    • Provide a clean driving record on a MVR background check.
    • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.


    Knowledge and Experience

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Experience: Six (6) months driving experience for a hotel/resort preferred

    Retail

    Retail Operations Manager

    Crater Lake

    The Retail Operations Manager collaborates with the General Manager, Retail Manager and the V.P. of Merchandising, to provide exemplary support of any and all functions related to retail operations, both front and back of house.


    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Learn and understand Retail Pro ensuring accurate pricing, transaction and issues resolution in a timely manner
    • Effectively develop and lead the front and back of house retail operations to include merchandising and warehousing
    • Collaborate with Retail Operations and location Retail Manager to maximize product sales performance utilizing Retail Pro reports, analyses and weekly review meetings
    • Collaborate with General Manager and corporate retail team to ensure that all retail staff is fully trained and executing according to performance expectations including the warehouse associates
    • Create and manage customer service training programs to ensure the highest level of service
    • Manage document control that includes retail operations policies and procedures, checklists, etc.
    • Assist with store execution and set up to include merchandising displays, staff training, etc.
    • Participate in annual on-site physical inventories when requested
       

    Position Requirements:

    • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
    • Must be self-motivated with the ability to perform with the highest professional and ethical standards
    • Must respond well to a changing work environment, and effectively manage multiple tasks through completion
    • Must possess strong leadership and managerial skills that include the ability to coach, develop, and communicate
    • Intermediate Retail Pro or comparable POS/planning software (POS, Sysadmin, reporting)
    • Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally and handle physical exertion involving bending, twisting, squatting and standing for long periods of time


    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Education: College Degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience: Minimum 3-5 year’s retail operations experience required
    • Minimum five year’s management or supervisory experience preferred
