We hire all of our guiding positions to start between April 25 and June 15th, and go through October 1st with some flexibility to end early in September or end of August. 

All guides are required to have CPR/First aid training. We provide training at the end of April/beginning of May. If you can't attend provided date of training you are required to get certified by start date. 

Drivers must have 6 years driving experience and pass a background check.

Shop mechanic positions start from March or May 1st and go through September or October 1st/

  • Bicycle Tour Driver Guide

    Juneau, Alaska
    $13.00 / hour + tips

    Seasonal full and part-time positions; May through September 30

    Cycle Alaska is hiring Driver Guides for our 2020 summer season. We're looking for friendly and energetic people who enjoy working outdoors to share the beauty of Juneau with our Guests. As a Driver Guide, you will get the opportunity to communicate directly with guests, share information on the surrounding area while being outside and be a part of a great team here at Cycle Alaska!

    Responsibilities, but not limited to:

    • First and foremost, upholding our Tour Mission; “We create great memories for our guests”.
    • Safely drive 15 passenger vans with a bike trailer
    • Ensure a safe, fun and timely tour
    • Engage with guests, provide a fun and informational tour talk and be attentive to the guest's needs throughout the tour
    • Give a safety talk and instructions on bike use before each tour
    • Provide assistance along bike route with crossings, scenic stops, and any bike issues
    • Sometimes you will be biking as a guide!

    Must have at least six years driving experience and a clear record for three years prior. Must be able to load and unload bikes from a trailer, can ride a bike for nine miles and be a team player.

  • Customer Service Sales Associate

    Bike Shop
    Juneau, Alaska

    Full Time Seasonal position April through September 30


    We are looking for a friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic person for our sales floor this summer. Must enjoy bikes and want to promote a bike friendly lifestyle. Bike knowledge is a plus but not required, we can train you on that as long as you’re willing and able to learn.

    Responsibilities, but not limited to:

    • Assisting customers on the sales floor
    • Answering phones
    • Use POS system for sales and checking in/out bikes for repair
    • Keep the shop clean and organized
    • Stock the sales floor
    • Bike rentals – processing payment and paperwork, fitting bike and gear to renter
    • Help with checking in orders
