    Kitchen

    BOH Supervisor

    $20.00 / hour
    Cannonville

    The BOH Supervisor oversees the kitchen and food preparation areas, ensuring efficient, high-quality service and adherence to health and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both people and processes in a high-pressure environment. The BOH Supervisor must also be prepared to work cooking or prep shifts as needed to support the team during busy periods or staff shortages.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Staff Supervision:

      • Manage kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and prep workers.
      • Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during shifts.
      • Train and mentor staff on food preparation, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures.
      • Monitor staff performance and address any issues related to attendance, performance, or behavior.
    • Food Preparation & Quality Control:

      • Ensure all food items are prepared according to the restaurant’s recipes, quality standards, and portion control guidelines.
      • Oversee the timely preparation of dishes during service hours.
      • Monitor food storage and inventory to prevent shortages and spoilage.
      • Collaborate with the FOH Supervisor to plan and implement new menu items.
    • Health & Safety Compliance:

      • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with local and state health codes.
      • Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning.
      • Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Inventory & Supplies Management:

      • Oversee inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
      • Log Weekly Inventory
      • Coordinate with suppliers to place orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
      • Control food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Communication & Coordination:

      • Work closely with the FOH (Front of House) team to ensure smooth communication between kitchen and dining areas.
      • Resolve any service issues related to food preparation or delivery.
      • Report directly to the AGM or General Manager regarding any operational challenges.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a BOH Supervisor or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
    • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and management.
    • Problem-solving skills to handle kitchen and staff-related issues efficiently.

    Work Environment

    • Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced, and physically demanding kitchen environment.
    • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Culinary Experience

    Front Desk

    Night Auditor

    $17.00 - $18.00 / hour
    Cannonville

    As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort during the overnight hours. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proficient with financial transactions, and has a keen eye for accuracy.

    Key Responsibilities: 

     

    • Financial Transactions: Conduct accurate and efficient night audits, including posting and balancing of charges, settlements, and discrepancies. 

    • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service during the night shift, addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and requests. 

    • Credit Card Transactions: Process customer payments accurately using our POS system, including credit card transactions. Ensure the security and confidentiality of guest payment information. 

    • Check-in/Check-out: Assist guests with late check-ins and early check-outs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. 

    • Security Checks: Conduct routine security checks throughout the resort premises to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and property. 

    • Reports: Generate and distribute daily reports, summarizing financial transactions, occupancy rates, and other relevant information to management. 

    • Reservations: Manage and update reservation systems, ensuring accurate information and availability. 

    • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally. 

    • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a cohesive and well-maintained environment. 

    • Emergency Response: Act as the point of contact for any emergencies that may arise during the night shift, and follow established protocols for resolution. 

     

    Preferred Qualifications: 

     

    • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury resort or hospitality setting. 

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial transactions. 

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 

    • Proficient in relevant computer software and reservation systems. 

    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

    • Availability to work during night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

    • Ability to independently lift 30lbs, demonstrating proper body mechanics  

    • Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time, including extreme heat or cold weather conditions 

    • Possible periods of prolonged standing and moving 

    • Able to operate property vehicles

    Restaurant

    Bartender

    $12.00 - $14.00 / hour + tips

    As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our guests, creating memorable experiences through expertly crafted drinks, and maintaining a welcoming and upscale atmosphere in our resort's bar area.

    Key Responsibilities: 

     

    • Mixology: Craft a variety of high-quality cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages to meet the preferences of our diverse clientele. 

    • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, recommending drinks, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience. 

    • Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about the resort's food and beverage offerings, including specialty drinks, local and international wines, and exclusive spirits. 

    • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment, glassware, and utensils are properly sanitized and stored. 

    • Upselling: Proactively suggest and promote premium beverages and special offerings to enhance the overall guest experience. 

    • Alcohol Service Compliance: Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations. Check identification to verify the legal drinking age. Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and monitor guest alcohol consumption. 

    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other resort staff, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive guest experience. 

    • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage beverage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock. 

    • Credit Card Transactions: Process credit card payments using the resort's designated point-of-sale system. Ensure the security of credit card information and adhere to all PCI-DSS compliance standards. Provide guests with receipts for all credit card transactions. 

    • Payment Accountability: Maintain a detailed record of all transactions and credit card payments. Reconcile credit card totals at the end of each shift. Communicate any discrepancies or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager. 

    • Tips Handling: Provide guests with the option to add tips to their credit card transactions. Handle cash tips accurately and ethically, following resort policies. 

    • Gratitude Acknowledgment: Express gratitude to guests who leave tips, reinforcing a positive and appreciative service culture. 

    • Customer Payment Assistance: Assist guests with any payment-related inquiries or issues in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with the front desk or management team for resolution of payment concerns. 

     

    Preferred Qualifications: 

     

    • Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-end or luxury setting. 

    • Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and various beverage trends. 

    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills. 

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. 

    • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. 

    • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities. 

    • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math skills for handling transactions. 

    • Certification in responsible beverage service (e.g., TIPS) is a plus. 

    • Food Handlers Certification- must provide within 2 weeks of start of employment. 

    • Alcohol Awareness Certification- must provide within 2 weeks of start of employment.

    As a Prep/Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality dining experience to our guests, blending the essence of luxury camping with exquisite culinary offerings.

    Key Responsibilities: 

     

    • Food Preparation: Execute food preparation tasks, including chopping, cutting, and marinating, to ensure timely and efficient service. Adhere to recipes and quality standards to maintain consistency in taste and presentation. 

    • Line Cooking: Work on the cooking line to prepare and plate dishes according to menu specifications. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods. 

    • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to contribute menu development ideas, considering the unique experience offered by a luxury camping resort. 

    • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Conduct regular inspections of ingredients to ensure freshness and adherence to safety standards. 

    • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices in the kitchen. Keep workstations clean and organized at all times. 

    • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to promote a positive and collaborative work environment. Assist colleagues during peak hours and support cross-functional teamwork.

    • Proven experience as a Prep/Line Cook in a high-end or luxury dining establishment. 

    • Proficient in various cooking techniques and preparation methods. 

    • Ability to contribute innovative ideas to enhance the resort's culinary offerings. 

    • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. 

    • Keen attention to detail in food presentation and quality. 

    • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 

    • Food Handlers Certification- required within 2 weeks of start of employment.
