Job Description
As a Photographer/Videographer, you will use your creative and technical skills to produce compelling visual content that captures the Cheley experience for campers, staff, and parents. Your role includes taking photos and videos of campers and staff for the Cheley Connection, yearbook, website, and other marketing purposes. You will also work closely with the media team to ensure equal coverage across all units and activities and meet deadlines for various projects.

Essential Job Functions:

• Photo and Video Content: Capture quality photos and videos of campers and staff for the Cheley Connection, yearbook, and other marketing materials.
• Photo Uploads: Ensure daily uploads to the Cheley Connection, with photos becoming live the following day at 10 AM MT.
• Content Planning: Create a schedule with the media team for equal coverage of all units and activities, and lead efforts to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate: Work alongside the Graphic Designer and other team members to ensure all necessary photos and videos are taken and organized.
• Assist Videographer: Help the Videographer with aspects of the annual video and other projects, including capturing and editing video content.
• Unit Coverage: Provide unit coverage during Sunday meetings and engage with campers to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Support Community: Act as a counselor when needed and contribute to the camp community beyond your job description.

Enjoy provided accommodation and delicious meals amidst the breathtaking beauty of Estes Park. Housing arrangements vary based on position and include cozy cabins and shared living spaces, fostering a sense of camaraderie among staff.

Season & Dates
Our summer camp spans multiple programs, welcoming over 1,200 campers annually. Your commitment will be essential from June 1st to August 11th (or August 4th), with opportunities through October, guiding campers through a transformative journey amidst the Rockies.

Preferred Skills
Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere) and experience in professional photography and videography. Ownership or access to professional-grade photo and video camera equipment.

Physical Requirements
Must have visual and auditory ability to assess any unsafe environment or hazard and physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid.
