The Camp Blue Spruce vision is that all children and parents with food allergies and other related conditions have a sense of belonging, trust and community.
Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper. The Counselor is responsible for carrying out daily activities with the support of other staff and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. Counselors nurture and respect each camper and their individual experiences, while living in a cabin in the Oregon wilderness.
- Camp Blue Spruce is a traditional one-week summer camp for kids living with food allergies
- Staff training is August 8-11 and camp runs August 12-17
- Camp Blue Spruce happens at Camp Tapawingo in Falls City, Oregon (Staff training will be held at Camp Namanu in Sandy, Oregon)
- Room and board included
