Clearing Arts Team
Housekeeper
up to $14.70 / hour
Breitenbush Hot Springs is seeking both Full Time Housekeeping (year round) & Fill In (work that fits your schedule) employees to join the Clearing Arts Team (Housekeeping Team). This position is vital to the cleanliness and comfort we provide to our guests. The Clearing Arts Team reports to the Clearing Arts Team Coordinator. Work will include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
 
We are seeking candidates who live their values around service, self-motivation, and clear, honest communication, and who enjoy physical work, cleaning and providing welcoming spaces for our guests.  
 
Various tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Cleaning guest accommodations, lodge, bathrooms, showers, pools and tubs
• Pressure washing
• Stocking
• Ordering
• Event set up/take down
 
Essential Qualifications: 
• Ability to work constructively within a department lead by the Business Director
• Ability to perform repetitive body movements
• Willingness/ability to work outside in inclement weather 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Self motivated and accountable
• Strong communication skills even in challenging customer service situations
 
Desired Qualifications:
• Interest in worker-owned cooperatives
• Experience with living in a remote community

Kitchen Team
Lead / Prep Cook
$14.70 / hour
Breitenbush
Breitenbush Hot Springs is seeking a seasonal Lead/Prep Cook employee & Fill In staff (based on your availability to support special events and "fill in" coverage for kitchen staff taking time off) to join our existing vegetarian kitchen team. The Lead/Prep Cook position is vital to the success of the food service we provide to our guests. This position starts immediately and reports to the Breitenbush Kitchen Team Coordinators.
Prep/Lead Cook Job Responsibilities:
• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces and supplies during shift
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs

Prep/Lead Cook Qualifications/Skills:
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
• Ability to work as a team member
• Follows directions and instructions
• One year of experience as a prep cook and/or restaurant worker
• Food Handlers Card
