Sweetwater Kitchen is looking for an experience restaurant and banquet server to join our team! 

Sweetwater Kitchen is located inside of Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. We are looking for someone who has a passion for serving and loves the great outdoors. Live and work where your backyard is millions of acres of wilderness from slot canyons and waterfalls to aspen forests. We are a rustic farm to table restaurant that would like you to join us for our 2024 season!

Server needs to be alert, attentive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Also needs to have a positive attitude, patient, and have a customer-oriented approach. This role will work independently as the only server during dinner service, with assistance during weekends. Must be able to host, serve, run food, bartend, and bus. (our concierge will assist if busy).

Responsibilities:

• Setting up for dinner service along with clean up after service 
• Polishing glassware
• Cleaning the dining room, serving station & bar 
• Making sure to follow check list to ensure cleanliness throughout shift
• Stocking all items needed for following shift
•  Jumping in and working weddings and events-banquet experienced recommended, but willing to train the right candidate

Experiences:

• Bartending. Must have at least 5 years' experience bartending in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience working in a professional catering environment
• Familiarity with executing large events of up to 150 people
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members 
• Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices

In addition:

• Must be willing to work until October. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Long Hours 3-4 days a week on weekends
• Must be able to lift 50lb or more
• Physically be able to help with set up and tear down of events related to catering
• Utah Food Safety Handlers Certification required upon arrival

Guest Ranch Lodge Supervisor

This job is perfect for someone that has great customer service skills that can work well with clients from around the world, able to multi-task and work independently. Goal oriented, seeking a long-term position with opportunities for growth. This job requires effective solution-based outcomes, ability complete tasks efficiently. Professionally and comprehensively communicate to various departments within the organization, lodging manager and owner/operator. Thrives on learning, capable of performing various jobs within the company including events. Perfect for someone that wants a unique positive environment to work in, loves the outdoors wants to live in a remote pristine area full of recreational opportunities while learning and growing with the small multi-faceted business. 

Hours: 1:00-8:00pm (times and days will vary)

Thursday-Monday

Must have flexible availability & able to work weekends & holidays!

Job responsibilities include all, but not limited to:

• Weekly inventory count of store, office, and housekeeping areas
• Sustaining an amazing customer service experience
• Reservations
• Room inspections prior to guest arrival including maintenance issues
• Efficient communication and reporting to lodge manager regarding housekeeping, reservations, opportunities, issues
• Ordering for store and housekeeping. Managing store consignment items
• Do daily & weekly inspections of units and property to address any issues
• Open/close store & office
• Welcome & assist guest with any questions they may have.
• Re-stocking store as needed. Upselling items
• Assisting with housekeeping when needed, including laundry
• Light cleaning common areas
• Assisting Sweetwater Kitchen when needed 
• Working with different departments in maintaining an overall flow
• On-site event assistance
• Assist with marketing efforts

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with a background in hospitality and guest services
• Proficiency in front desk operations and phone etiquette
• Comfortable utilizing various computer programs including Google Drive, Adobe, Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and resort environments
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous
• Able to perform physical tasks
• Solution based problem solving
• Flexible and a team player
• Professional
