Lawncare Crew

Bald Mountain Lawncare
Location:
Gardiner, Montana
Wages/Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 / hour
Experience:
Some experience required
Start Date:
Starts soon! (May 01, 2024)

Your commute will have you counting Bison, Elk, Bald Eagles, Grizzlies, Pronghorn, Mule Deer instead of exit numbers or red lights. (In fact, we don't even have a stoplight in town.)

Are you a self-starter who can work without direct supervision once you have training and instruction? Would you rather be part of a small crew than be just a number? Do you have a good, solid head on your shoulders? Are you ready to work hard, take pride in your work and stand back, and actually be able to see what you've accomplished? Do you have experience working with mowers, trimmers or other power equipment? Can you be on your feet all day and handle heavy lifting, responsibility and laughter, too? Do you have a current, valid Driver's License and a clean Driving Record? You'll be on the move - all day long. You good with that?

(Please Note: Successful applicants must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes.)

Your day begins and ends in Gardiner and Jardine, Montana at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Job sites include Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone (WY) and Gardiner, Pray, Tom Miner Basin (MT). You'll never get tired of calling this place home.

Montana is known for wild weather of all sorts - they say that if you don't like what you see now, wait five minutes and it will change. Be prepared to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, as well as other safety-related gear (eye and ear protection). You'll be outside whatever the weather holds - working in elevations from 5,000 - 7,800 feet.

We offer a competitive wage - better than what many seasonal employers are paying.

Seasonal housing is nearly impossible to find in this area - but don't worry - we've got your back. Several possibilities exist and we'll discuss details with you. No cafeteria plan for this gig - you'll be on your own for meals; generally speaking, that's a really great thing. Bring your lunch cooler and a big water bottle. There's a grocery store in town and a multitude of restaurants that cater to Yellowstone's summer visitors. Maybe you'll hone some mad BBQ skills along the way.

We hope you're an outdoor enthusiast - what's your passion? Mountain biking, hiking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing? Gardiner and Jardine are havens for all things outdoors.

Have a great job. Do a great job. Be paid well. Get a good night's sleep. How does that work for your Summer 2024?
