The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps is an internationally recognized pageantry arts performance ensemble consisting of 154 performers ages 17-21 and a touring staff of 60. Join us as we develop and then bring our show to life on tour to over 30 cities. Our highly motivated membership comes to us from around the world and our 53' state of the art mobile kitchen is the social hub while on tour.
Based in Denver, CO, our tour criss crosses the United States to such locations as the Rose Bowl, Denver's Mile High Stadium, the Alamo Dome, Mercedes Dome in Atlanta and shows in over 30 Cities.

The Employee Experience
Working on tour with the Blue Knights is an experience unlike any other. If you love to cook and nurture the creativity of talented individuals with healthy meals, this job is for you. Our days on tour are beautiful, demanding, inspiring, educational, frustrating, surprising, active, and full of opportunity. Our 53 foot traveling kitchen accommodates feeding a crowd with amenities that enable efficiency and organization and is the center of social interaction. At the end of the day, you’ll travel to your next destination comfortably in an Entertainer style coach complete with wi-fi access and Bluetooth capabilities.
Ideal Candidate
We are searching for an associate who has a strong background in meal planning and preparation for large groups and for those with dietary sensitivities. This individual is internally motivated and inspired to lead a powerful life of service and integrity; possesses a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle a physical workload and a fast-paced atmosphere. Our most successful associates are individuals who are team players that enjoy working with a variety of individuals, are passionate about, and enjoy the arts, especially music and dance.

The ideal candidate will be able to work the summer season beginning in mid to late May and going through early August, with a possibility to extend to monthly camps during the winter and spring.

We offer free housing and meals for the Summer 2024 season!
Sleeping accommodations will be on an Entertainer coach (yeah, like rock stars) with laundry facilities available on the mobile kitchen. It is recommended that you bring your own twin-sized sheets and blankets as we have a limited number available. Guests, family members, and pets are not permitted on the Entertainer coach.
Employee Perks
Internet - Wi-Fi is available on the Entertainer coach. And you will receive a free staff pass to drum corps international shows in which the Blue Knights compete. You will have opportunities to watch the Blue Knights perform at field level or watch some world-class drum corps perform from the stands.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Arriving by Air - The nearest airport is Denver International Airport (DEN). The corps will spend the first 4 weeks rehearsing in Denver. We provide transportation to those arriving by air or bus in Denver (DEN). We ask that you arrive the day before to be ready for pickup on your Check In Day.

Being the head tour cook for the Blue Knights means free passes to Drum Corps International shows in which the Blue Knights participate. Watch world class performances and be an integral part of this mobile community while it moves across the country. This close-knit community provides the opportunity to meet so many young artists, music educators, and the many people who support this accessible form of music, dance, and the arts. All who have had this job agree that it makes for an unforgettable summer of community, celebrating the joy of music and performance.
