About Captain Frosty's
Captain Frosty's is one of Cape Cod's original clam shacks. Over the past 40+ years Captain Frosty's has appeared in books and travel guides and has received numerous awards from local publications. This season, you can help bring a cherished summer experience to many loyal locals and visitors from afar.
Captain Frosty's season begins in April and runs through October, with crowds peaking in July and August. The front counter service staff offers limited table-service to a small indoor dining room and two outdoor patio areas. Open every day in summer, for lunch and dinner. All dinner shifts will end after a reasonable closure time of 9pm.
Seasonal staff works from Mid-April into October. Accommodations in clean, newly built low-cost housing are available for those making a full-season commitment.

The Employee Experience
"Frosty's" is a small restaurant with a big heart! Our team of 30 is the all-important ingredient in every great season. Many return each year to help new members learn, advance their own skills and share new experiences.
Our team works together in a supportive environment to accomplish the day-to-day work. Staff varies in age, while many are age 20 through 30. You'll have the chance to work with locals and visitors from around the world and make friends that can last a lifetime.
A summer on Cape Cod offers many enjoyable ways to spend a day away from work. Spend a relaxing day at the beach, surf the east coast waves, kayak in a small quiet kettle pond, hike a seaside trail, visit nearby camps and protected national lands, bike the "Cape Cod Rail Trail" or just relax at a local coffee shop. You can also enjoy special events like outdoor concerts on the lawn, summer festivals, sporting events and more.
Our convenient mid-cape location is also a very short drive to Cape Cod's main shopping center -- where you can enjoy a meal, shop, or catch a movie. However you chose to spend your time, you will find our accommodations to be a comfortable home for the season.
Our ideal candidate is energetic and personable, able to organize his/her time and enjoys working in a busy team environment.
Room and Board
Newly built shared housing is available: Our fully furnished modern apartment accommodates 4 people, with 2 shared bedrooms. Features eat-in kitchen with all new appliances, separate bathrooms for each bedroom, a large bright living space, laundry, cable TV and high-speed internet access. The location is within a 3 minute walk from work. All utilities are included with rent, which is $110 per week. A refundable security deposit is required.

Staff is scheduled to work 6 days per week, with a mix of day and night shifts. Your days off are planned in advance so you can enjoy all that the cape has to offer.
Each shift averages 6-8 hours each, totaling 30-40 hrs weekly on average. Meals and breaks are offered at intervals throughout the day. Overtime is also available, paid at 1.5 x rate.
Compensation (above the state minimum of $11/hr) is based on experience and demonstrated skill. Payroll service is weekly, with direct deposit offered.
Work with a friendly group of 30 people including a mix of college and high school students, locals and seasonal visitors from around the world. You will find many opportunities to enjoy your free time on Cape Cod with your co-workers.
Your accommodations are in a quiet residential area, located a short walk from the restaurant. Several beaches and Dennis town center are accessible on foot or by bike, with other points of interest within a short drive or bus ride. To help you get the most out of your stay, trips to surrounding areas and informal local events are regularly planned throughout the season.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Transportation from Boston airport is available to Cape Cod by "Plymouth & Brockton" Bus and from Providence by Bonanza Bus Lines - 508-548-7588.
The regional transit authority offers limited local bus service on Cape Cod to surrounding points of interest. For route information and schedules go to www.capecodtransit.org. Also available: Uber, Lyft or local taxi service.
Bicycles are available for touring the area and visiting local beaches. Grocery shopping is within walking distance and more shopping is within biking distance. Accommodations are located in a quiet residential area of historic Rte. 6A in Dennis.
Nearby Dennis bay beaches are among the Cape's most picturesque waters. There are also nearby marshes, ponds and farms to visit. Further away are many shopping opportunities, including Hyannis, a central shopping hub of Cape Cod. You will find opportunities to bike, hike, play sports at nearby parks, kayak, fish, visit local attractions and more.
