The Potato

The Potato is a small, locally-owned Alaska restaurant serving some of the best food in Alaska. We're open from May to September, during Alaska's busiest tourism months. Our tight-knit team works hard to serve handmade, globally-influenced cuisine. Our menu features everything from the famous Potatohead burrito to Copper River Red salmon served over a miso salad. We have fun, and it shows.

We're located in the heart of the country's largest national park, Wrangell-St. Elias. McCarthy is a fun, quirky community surrounded by mountains. Plenty of opportunity for outdoor adventure!
