Maine Seacoast Mission

Since 1905, the Maine Seacoast Mission has made life better on Maine’s isolated eastern coast and unbridged islands. Our programs and services meet basic human needs while creating community and relieving the effects of isolation. We build brighter futures through scholarships and experiential after-school, in-school, and summer programs for more than 700 children and their families.

Coastal Washington County is known as the “Bold Coast,” with an unspoiled coastline and great recreational opportunities. Cherryfield is on the Narraguagus River and an hour from Acadia National Park.
